  1. I did what you said & quickly identified DynDoLod as the culprit. I uninstalled & now the game is as stable as ever & still looks great. Thanks again for the helpful response.
  2. Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. I'm going to give this a try tonight and will report back.
  3. Hey guys, I'll spare everyone the long backstory, but I recently tried to uninstall Frostfall because I was getting CTDs and, based on past experience, Frostfall was a likely culprit. I right-clicked it and hit "remove mod" in Mod Organizer. The next time I loaded MO, however, I got the Missing Masters error for "chesko_frostfall.esp". I assume this means another mod is relying on/looking for Frostfall. I also understand that "chesko_frostfall.esp" is from an old version of Frostfall. I tried running Skyrim despite the Missing Masters warning and, of course, it crashed after the initial Bethesda screen. Below is my load order. Any help figuring out which mod might be looking for Frostfall would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Hopefully my final update: I've now played roughly 12 consecutive hours without a CTD. This includes countless instances of interior-->exterior, including caves. The only two things I changed before the problem stopped: - Disabled Frostfall from within the in-game Mod Configurations Menu (MCM) - Dismissed my follower who pre-dated my installation/activation of Advanced Follower Tweaks. Have since picked up a new follower. I feel confident that the issue was some type of conflict between Frostfall and another mod. As noted above, I know in at least two of my CTD loops, I had gotten wet immediately before entering the interior from which it wouldn't let me exit. I also still had the CTD problems even when I told my follower to stay behind.
  5. Okay, here's my current load order behind the spoiler tag: All of those are active in-game except for Frostfall. As I mentioned above, at least a few of these mods were added after I created my bashed patch and I haven't created a new one to account for these more recently added mods. Could that be the problem?
  6. Thanks a lot for the reply. I double-checked and I did in fact have SKSE.ini setup properly through MO. I will post my mod list, etc., as soon as I have the chance. I am not using an ENB except for the ENBoost memory fix. Thanks a lot for the response. That's good to know about script-heavy mods. I'm gonna post mod list & load order tomorrow. I know off-hand I'm using CoT and Realistic Water 2. But I know I'm using a few others that affect weather/climate. Awesome. Thanks. I've tried the basic fixes listed at the beginning, but there is some new info in there that might prove helpful. I will follow up shortly and let y'all know what I find out.
  7. Update 2: As I thought more about it, I realized that at least 2 of the 3 "unfixable" CTD instances involved situations where I'd gotten wet just prior to entering the interior from which I could not exit. I also believe that none of the 3 CTD instances occurred before I installed Frostfall. Naturally, I disabled Frostfall via the Mod Configuration Menu (note: I did not uninstall it, however; just deactivated it in-game). I've played a solid 8 hours since I deactivated it, and I haven't had another CTD. Just wanted to post in case in might help someone else.
  8. Update: I decided to load the save from just before I exited Goldenglow Estate, play out the rest of the quest inside (i.e., kill Aringoth and raid his safe) and then try to leave Goldenglow Estate via a different exit. I tried 3 different exits -- one house exit and two sewer exits -- and got a CTD every time. I also tried some of the troubleshooting tips found in another thread dealing with these types of CTDs -- specifically, telling my follower to wait and sitting in a chair before exiting -- but neither fixed the problem. I feel like the answer is somewhere in the Papyrus log above, but unfortunately I don't know how to interpret what's in there. Any help would be very much appreciated.
  9. Hey guys, I'm experiencing periodic CTDs almost exclusively when trying to exit certain interior locations. I've posted my Papyrus log below (with a spoiler tag) in the hopes someone can help me troubleshoot. I've verified that the Papyrus log looks virtually identical after each such CTD. Things to note: - I've spent hours reading and researching threads on this forum and elsewhere, but I've yet to find any information that has proven beneficial in helping me solve my problem. I've tried a few troubleshooting tips, including changing the uExterior Cell Buffer to 24 in skyrim.ini. - I'm using Mod Organizer. All my mods are up-to-date and have been cleaned using TES5Edit. LOOT says my load order is fine, and I get ZERO warnings or errors in LOOT (e.g., no dirty edits or even ITM records at this point). I'm also using the latest SKSE, and am running about 75 mods. Performance is outstanding except for the CTD issues described in this post. - I have used the Save Game Script Cleaner and removed all oprhan scripts. Though it removed many orphan scripts, the problem with CTDs persists. - I've had a couple of CTDs when I was just walking in an exterior cell. One of these I was able to replicate, but I worked around it extremely easily by walking just a few feet in a different direction. The only persistent/unsolvable issues have been interior-to-exterior. - The first such crashes started once I was about 30 hours into my game. It happened after I had found the last fragment of the Gauldur Amulet and attempted to exit Reachwater Rock back into Skyrim (i.e., trying to complete the Forbidden Legend quest). - The next time it happened was when I was trying to exit Dustman's Cairn after helping Varkas complete the Proving Honor quest. - The third and most recent time was trying to exit Goldenglow Estate after I burned the 3 hives as part of the Loud and Clear quest. - The only way I've been able to work around these crashes is through trial and error of loading old saves and then changing up my routine a bit before re-attempting the quests at issue. By doing this, I was ultimately able to complete the Forbidden Legend and Proving Honor quests. I stopped when I ran into this problem yet again with the Loud and Clear quest in hopes of finding a solution, since each time this happens I lose a few hours of play time. - There is no warning when this is going to occur. Everything is playing fine, I enter a certain interior, and then it repeatedly CTDs when trying to exit back into Skyrim. - Interestingly, when I try to load some saves from before I entered the problematic interior, I get a CTD. If I go back far enough, I can load a save without incident. This only seemed to start with the most recent CTD experience with Loud and Clear/Goldenglow Estate (i.e., with the Rockwater Reach and Dustman's Cairn CTD instances, I could successfully load the saves from right before I attempted to exit these areas to the exterior). - I followed a STEP guide when first getting everything set up. I created a Bashed Patch at that time following the instructions. However, I've added some mods since the last time I created the Bashed Patch and haven't created a new one because of something I read indicating that there was no need to do so as long as I was getting no warnings/errors in LOOT. I wonder if this could be part of the problem, but honestly have never understood Wrye Bash well enough to resolve this question. - I also should note that, while I am not 100% certain on this, it seems like I didn't start to have these crashes until I completely cleaned all the ITM instances using TES5Edit via Mod Organizer. Maybe this has nothing to do with it -- after all, my understanding has always been this would make my game MORE stable. But I thought I should mention it. I am at my wits' end. I love Skyrim, but if I can't solve this problem, I'm not sure I'm up for starting over again and might just give up. I hate to do it because I've already invested so much time in getting the game looking and playing the way I want. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Papyrus log to follow:
