  1. I had the same problem. I did everything exactly like in the Bethesda Dialogue tutorial I thought, but no dialogue showed up in game at all. Turned out that when I recorded my voice, I hit the Ok button to close the panel when I was done. But you need to press the save button first or it won't work That fixed this for me What you can also try is this: In console type sqs <yourquestid> This allows you to see which questparts are completed for current save game and that can screw things up when testing. When for example stage 0 is set to 1 the game moves on to the next stage, even if you do a setstage <yourquestid> 0 To fix this do a resetquest <yourquestid> in the console.
  2. Thanks so much for posting this, you probably saved me from some frustrated hours :) I had the same problem with crashing at female char select and also millions of mods installed. And indeed, both Hair Pack and ApachiiSkyHair too. Disabled one, problem gone! So if you have this too, pick your favorite hair from either one of those mods but disable the other one in mod manager. kudos to kingchris20
  3. Thx so much for this post =) even if it's half a year old, but I just started with the modding I've spent so much time googeling for a solution for this and yours is the only right one it seems :)
  4. Already done, wow :) http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2101 edit: Something is seriously wrong with the search on this site btw, I searched for malufenix, dragonborn and all kinds of words to see if this was already posted and when I didn't get any search results I made this thread, only to find out later there's been plenty of talk about it and even a mod already
  5. Hey :) I wanted to play a female vampire but the aging texture makes her so ugly that I didn't like it :P I don't mind the eyes, a vampire has those, but I do mind the ugly skin spots. I want to roleplay a vampire that's usually just among people, a master in hiding her vampirism but that's hard when she looks like a corpse even when just fed. So I'd like to remove that texture, make it transparent or just less ugly. I know how to edit a dds file and change a texture. Problem is, I cannot find it after skimming through the textures.bsa, does anyone know which file it is maybe? Or any other suggestion to remove the vampire aging is welcome too of course, maybe it's way easier than changing the texture. In morthal I saw that the girl vampires in the village didn't have the ugly spots, so maybe it's just a quick setting I can change? thanks in advance!
  6. hello everyone. I recently started modding and so far I really like it. There are 2 things I can't seem to get done and cannot find information about though. - Using facial animations on npc's. I know the game uses lip files to synchronise expressions with wave files and you can make new ones. But where are the standard ones and can I use those animations? I can use playidle animationname for sitting, sleeping whatever. Are there ways to make an npc smile, look angry as well? - Changing combat animations. Is it possible to give an NPC new combat animations for melee? Like some martial art kicks? Is it possible to add new nif or kf files to an NPC's combat sequence and remove unwanted ones? When I go to the animation tab it seems I cannot change anything there. Hope someone can help me :)
