  1. Maybe even a complete overhaul where you choose to help either the Alliance or the Independents in the Unification war, before Firefly takes place, with armies, uniforms, weapons and all that which we see in the small flashbacks we get from the war. Then you may get to meet Mal and Zoë in the war, but the others of the crew didn't participate in the war or it's unknown if they did (so you may not meet them) and people would most likely choose to fight for the Independents because who would like to kill Mal and Zoë? :s Anyways, a complete overhaul as an alternative story of Firefly would be cool aswell, and probably funnier/easier. It could be that you are travelling with Firefly, you know like Book and Simon before they joined the crew, and then they have to stop/hide/crash on some planet/moon for some reason (the planet/moon where the story would take place) and you could either help them or work against them (duh!), whatever rocks your socks. There would be feds after them, and after Simon and River. There would be reavers that'd like to eat you. There would be Alliance-friendlies who very much would like to beat you down in a bar brawl. But best of all... THE CUNNING HAT! No, just kidding. ;) Best of all would be that the story would be able to continue past where the series ended, fill the gap between the series and the movie you know :) Because I would very much like to know what's up with Book, what's his connections with Alliance and is he really a priest? There's also Simon and Kaylee's feelings (although that evolves more later in the movie), Wash's jealousy of Mal and Zoë (which is sorted out in the series), Jayne messing with Simon, Inaras love/hate feelings for Mal and of course Rivers "problems". You know that fed from the first episode? He was planned to come back later in the series because he survived the gunshot, so this could also be his chance.
  2. I like how it's done in say Mount&Blade. All the things in your 4 equipment boxes show up on your character (unless you have 4 swords, would look silly). In Fallout New Vegas we have 9 "equipment boxes" (hotkeys) so everything there can't show up either. I was thinking more like in the old Fallouts, where you have just two equipped weapons which you can switch between, but people would rage at that why they can't have 9 equipped weapons.
  3. Saddens me that no one takes a liking of a Firefly-based mod for Fallout New Vegas :(
  4. "I think it's the sweetest hat ever" "That hat makes you look like an idiot"
  5. I don't know why anyone hasn't done a Firefly/Serenity mod for Fallout already. I mean, it's the perfect game for such a mod. All I need are the clothes they all have, I don't need new NPC's, a story and all that, although it would be a plus. The same with the weapons (which just would be an already existing weapon like a revolver or a lever-action but with a "laser" sound to it, since the high-tech weapons look old-school). But still, I'm just glad if I can get Jayne's hat.
  6. I downloaded and used the CCleaner and that didn't work either!!!! I think I'm turning insane now guys. It might just be my drivers then! I've tried CCleaner, SecuROM removal tool, RevoUninstaller, trying to install the game in failsafe mode... and now I'm gonna try renaming my drive letter and... if that doesn't work.... I'll have to reinstall whole Windows. Thanks for your time, but I think this is kinda mission failed. Edit: and I couldn't change the drive letter..
  7. On the Bethesda forums I asked the same thing. I got told to try RevoUninstaller, SecuROM removal tool and reinstalling the game in failsafe mode. Still the same error, D:\ not being a valid Win32-program. http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index.ph...owtopic=1028524 Does that mean it's something wrong with my driver? I will give the CCleaner a try though. I was also told to try changing the drive letter, but he doubted that would work. I could try that aswell.
  8. Happened to me the first time I used it too, I dunno what happened later, I think it appeared again. I never really used it much anyways.
  9. Ok, here's my story: (Before you say how stupid I am, I have to say that I know I am stupid. I'm not an computer expert. And I usually think more after I act.) I was gonna download some mods from here, one was Tailor Maid. I downloaded it, but the readme said I needed ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated! for it to work, so I followed that link and downloaded that as well. AIA's readme said that it will not work for Vista users if Fallout 3 is installed in Program Files. I tried anyways and the readme was right. So now I have to install it somewhere else. I tried doing some noobish stuff like moving the whole Fallout 3 folder somewhere else but it still said it was installed in Program Files. I thought I had to uninstall and reinstall but to somewhere else, like My Games or something. Since I couldn't find any "Uninstall Fallout 3" button, I marked the whole Fallout 3 folder and hit delete. Now here's where the real problem comes in - when I try to reinstall Fallout 3 (putting in the CD again, or clicking the D: icon in This Computer, nothing happens for a very long time, except for the computer thinking. Then an error pops up: "D:\ is not a valid Win32-program." for a while I was affraid I messed up the CD somehow, so I tried putting in the CD in my other computer (the crappy one) and the installation guide shows ad normal. So it's my computer I messed up. How did I do that? (in my noobish act) How do I fix it?
