  1. Hi. wghost81, your file accessed by the link above is named "Hex-editing-upk-files.odt" without "d"... (I know, it's nothing... ) Thanks for the lessons !
  2. Hi. to wghost81 : Reading the "Hex editing upk files". Clear as a blue summer sky, even for a noob in modding like me. Bravo ! To be continued... When ended, will you join it to "UPKUtils" set of files ?
  3. Hi. Base Defense Mod by wghost81 and Ellatan is out and LW compatible. And integrated in Beta14g.
  4. Hi again. I'm here to point out that the names of the classes in the barracks can be changed by creating a .txt file which can be installed through PatcherGUI. I tested it and it works perfectly well. More, Zyxpsilon provided his chosen colors matching with the overall choices he made in his mod and recently posted as well the colors for the armors in the thread (of this mod). XMarksTheSpot provided the code lines, in a discussion between wghost81 and Zyxpsilon. Here"s the original link : http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1454050-xcom-interface-tweaks/?p=17986229 (click on the Spoiler "show" button). Use a text editor and paste into the example file furnished with PatcherGUI. You only have to change the color values in the .txt file before applying it wiht PatcherGUI. Very easy, and PatcherGUI makes it very ergonomic with the "unpatching" possibility (to test different patterns of colors). When downloading ReCoLoRing project, the .txt file is included (with Zyxpsilon's choice of colors). I provided the link for people who only want the names colors change (without Zyxpsilon mod, but I recommend highly this one). ---------- To wghost81 : Yes, I know it's compatible, I use it ! What I wanted to point out is a clarification about it being inserted (partially) in LW, as it was stated in yellow color (without comment in the brackets when I posted the original message). To DAOWAce : This is a choice. I only wanted to make clear that Geoscape Pause is in fact only partly inserted in LW B14. My little brain needs the pausing when soldiers become available for missions, as I delay some of them to wait for some leader/psi trained soldier/officer to be present on the battleground. Clicking repeatidly doesn't bother me, I prefer that to missing an event. The discussion is not, I suppose, about the preferences of the players, but about, as said by wghost81 above, "LW inserts pause into different function, it remains compatible with Geoscape Pause mod". Not really included in LW. To lexo1000 : What about inserting the urls in the list to give instant access ? {url=http://www.nexusmods.com/xcom/mods/474/?}XCOM Interface and Gameplay Tweaks{/url} becomes XCOM Interface and Gameplay Tweaks if you replace the {...} by [...]. Yes, I know, some work... But wouldn't it be so practical ? Sorry for the approximative english. PS : when starting my first LW campain after having played vanilla, I longed for such a thread. Great idea !
  5. Hi everyone. wghost81 says Geoscape Pause is included in LWb14. By testing, it seems to me only part of it. Notably beta14c(2) doesn't stop when : 1. notification soldier's ready to go into mission again 2. planes repared and ready to intercept UFOs. With the mod installed, Geoscape pauses even with those notifications. Can someone test if I'm right ?
  6. Hi. Nice idea ! Zyxpsilon's right, his mod Re-CoLoRing Projects -- Version THREE [Zyxpsilon] works perfecly well and once installed, it's probably not possible to go back... I also use Commander's Choice - Squaddie Class Assignment [Peasly Wellbott] wich works with LW (Beta13 and all Beta14). And of course Long War Beta 14c HP Display Mod [Ellatan] (Beta14c). All those should be in blue.
