  1. Ah! Didn't realise NMM had been "adopted". No, this is the first time I'm playing DOS EE but NMM worked fine back when I was using it. Unfortunately the DOS EE forum here is dead. Only 4 threads lol. Thanks for your help. :)
  2. I discovered that this game isn't supported by Vortex. What can I use as a mod manager, as NMM is no longer supported? Thanks.
  3. If I may jump in, I too was trying to determine why Vortex couldn't find my game (Divinity: Original Sin EE). I realise now that Vortex at the moment supports a limited number of games. Fair enough. However for these non-supported games, is there an alternative mod manager, seeing that NMM (which I migrated from) is now unsupported? Or does the user have to manually install mods?
  4. Well, excuse me for asking a question on a forum where it's expected that people would ask questions. Thanks for the links too. Quite illuminating..
  5. I'm trying to pickpocket Maria from Benny so I can kill him with it. However despite having 100 in sneak and using a Stealth Boy I always get caught. Is it an impossible task or was I just unlucky with the RNG?
  6. I just heard about this mod, and the few articles I perused on the web didn't answer my question. Is the story stand-alone, or does it segue into New Vegas at it's conclusion?
  7. Thanks for sharing, I'm glad that you got it fixed. However I have a question - some mods require NVSE to work properly, and if I'm not mistaken launching the game via the default launcher will cause some mods not to work. So how do you reconcile the two? They seem mutually exclusive to me.
  8. Yes, I went back to Nipton, talked to the rather rude dude and the quest popped up. I was expecting it to do so after speaking to Logan the second time. As an aside, when we went to the Fire Station the Queen there killed Logan and his gang lol.
  9. I've spoken to Logan, hacked the computer, spoken to him again but the quest doesn't appear. Is there a way to console the quest into the Pipboy?
  10. That is not necessary, but there's no down side (that I'm aware of) if you do so. I too have done this, as I have a SSD as my boot drive, and Windows being the space hog that it is I've been forced to install all non-essential programs to a second hard drive in order to conserve space on C:.
  11. Therein lies the problem. Without a Pipboy entry I won't know what stage I'm at for active quests. Even many of the completed quests don't show up in the PipBoy in the grayed out section.
  12. As I have posted earlier, I'm experiencing a glitch where my Pipboy is missing a few quests that I know I have yet to complete. With the aid of the wiki I'm compiling a list of quests that are still active, but not listed. I used the getstage command to find out where I am on quests, and a few of these have returned values of 0 or 100. Does the 0 denote that the quest has yet to be given, and the 100 indicate that it's been completed? Thanks.
  13. Thanks. Just some more info and the behaviour of the game since I noticed this "feature". I was at Camp Forlorn, and checking my inventory I found out I only had 2 Brotherhood scout reports. Just so happens that the 3rd scout is near that location, so I sought him out, got his report. Quest log then updated and listed Still in the Dark, with the next stage of the quest. But the prior stages I had completed are still missing. Similarly, I entered the Strip and Ring a Ding Ding updated with the next stage of the quest, but again with prior completed stages not being listed. Another peculiarity I noticed a few weeks ago - sometime after I started Dead Money I found out that the perks you choose upon leveling up were all missing. Only those that you get from completing quests, such as those I earned from Old World Blues, were listed and active. I thought that DM stripped you of these perks but after completing the DLC they were not restored, so I had to console them back in. Really strange stuff.
  14. Erm, I don't think that's a good idea. Better to delete than reinstall at a place of your choosing. Otherwise all kinds of nastiness and weirdness may result from a simple dragging and dropping.
  15. I've only just discovered that my PipBoy has quite a few quests missing, including main quests. I worked my way slowly through the main quest line, going south to Primm after the starting missions, then Nitpon, Novac and the area around New Vegas. Along the way I did quite a few side quests and exploration, then I embarked on the 4 DLCs. I've just finished Lonesome Road, and now that I'm looking to pick up where I left off, my PipBoy shows just a couple of quests I picked up recently, and a lot of completed ones. Even the main quest (I think it was Ring a Ding Ding) is not listed. Unfortunately the earliest save I have is just at the start of Dead Money, at the bunker, and the quest list is bugged there too. Now this could be game breaking, any idea what I can do to get my quests back? Addendum: Is there a console command to determine which stage of a particular quest I'm at, if that quest is missing from the Pipboy log? I'm pretty sure I haven't completed Still in the Dark (BoS quest), I collected the 3 (or was it 2?) scout reports but have yet to return to Hidden Valley.
