  5. Hmmm I guess I could give that a try. Brilliant I will ask If I can have permission to use their assets outside of their mod. Sure if you are willing that would be great, however I'm very busy at Uni in the next few months so I won't have much time to pursue this mod.
  6. Hi I've already seen and tested both of these resources but they didn't really fit what i was going for. I could try Dawnguard assets though. Thanks

  8. Hi I've been working on a mod that's essentially a recreation of Candlekeep from the classic RPG Baldur's Gate. It uses some ported models from oblivion, however this is a personal project that I've done for fun and I don't intend to make it public unless i managed to replace all the ported models. So I hope I'm not breaking any rules, if so i will remove this post. Only the inner grounds and the keep itself are mostly finished. Anyway here's some screens (all WIP): http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/541/55wq.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/834/jvie.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/690/gzs6.jpg http://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1024x768q90/12/2lg4.jpg
  9. Someone... I beg of you
  10. Too ambitious, dead i think
  11. Ok thanks and i have a custom sound file for the preaching audio. So is it possible to copy and paste and whiterun preacher and just replace the audio?
  12. As the title says, I'm attempting to make a custom preacher similar to the preacher in whiterun. They just need to stand in place and speak dialog out loud. I'm really unsure of where to start, any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  13. Merci à toi, content de voir des compatriotes sur le Nexus! Je te ferais signe à l'occasion dans l'avancement du projet, qui viserait peut être une mini-reconstitution de la croisade des Albigeois au XIIIème siècle. Sorry for the small french talk, guys! My thanks! Well there's a M&B Warband's keep, a piece of wall from Chivalry and the rest of the ported assets are from The Witcher II, which assets are free to use by anyone. Is it too much to ask how you port models into skyrim? I would love to try it myself. I have a basic understanding of Nifskope, 3ds max etc. How do you change the file types into .nif? Thanks!
  14. Just want to say amazing work! May I ask which games you ported some of your models from?
  15. Still can't figure out what i'm doing wrong after another day. Could it be a UV mapping problem? Please help me out as i'm sure it's something simple and i'm just being stupid.
  16. Ahhh ok it's strange as it's never done this on custom models before. I use RC4 so I'm not sure that is the problem. Thanks for the reply anyway :)
  17. I can't for the life of me figure out what I'm doing wrong. Probably something very stupid. I created a custom object in 3DS Max then exported it as a Skyrim Nif. I then open it up in Nifskope and remove all the NiMaterialProperties and copy paste a working Skyrim BSLightingShaderProperty into each NiTriShape. The texture works fine on any vanilla object but appears as a solid block colour on my custom object. I've checked my NiTriShapeData settings and BSLightingshader settings against a vanilla mesh but i can't figure out what's wrong? Here are some images of my Nifskope Mesh: Messed up solid block texture: http://postimg.org/image/ynm0gyvhj/ NiTriShape: http://postimg.org/image/jqdjfyi93/ NiTriShapeData http://postimg.org/image/l2v8hufon/ BSLightingShaderProperties http://postimg.org/image/x60k5eqqv/ BSSShaderTextureSet http://postimg.org/image/huqr4stev/ Any help would be very much appreciated! This is really frustrating me :wallbash:
  18. Hi i just had the idea of creating a mod where lights turn on in windows at night. It looks strange having light cast from windows during the day. Is there a script of some kind that would allow lights to turn on and off at a certain time during the day? Any help would be much appreciated Thanks
  19. Anyone? Would really appreciate it
  20. I'm interested in porting witcher 2 models into skyrim, particularly some of the buildings. Does anyone with experience know how to do this? I tried google searching a tutorial of some kind but could find none. Thanks
  21. I'm having the exact same problem. Can't find any solution anywhere
