  1. I sent a pm to Vuud and he replied to change this setting in the SkyrimPrefs.ini: [Display] iTexMipMapSkip=6 Since my Skyrim is broken, could someone post some screenshots of what the game looks like with that setting?
  2. Here's the mod for anyone who doesn't know what it is: The rest of the images are here: https://imgur.com/gallery/mWkeC#JJZR9Ee However, I would really love to know how to make skyrim look like that.
  3. I'm sure many people are familiar with this mod: https://imgur.com/gallery/mWkeC https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrim/comments/3g49ci/toon_skyrim_mod_test_what_do_you_think/ *NOT a mod request* This mod didn't come out. Some comments say you have to adjust mipmap levels to over 9000. Does anyone know how to adjust the settings in skyrim .ini to make skyrim look like that? I have Intel HD 4000 graphics.
  4. hey so my NMM won't open and I have tried everything, and posted about it before, but I wanted to ask if windows update will fix my PC, specifically .NET ?
  5. UMM IM NOT SURE BUT... I actually think I'm mistaken and they all use the same body... Right now I'm checking to make sure but I probably was thrown off because they look different, but thats because they have different weight/head/leg/waist sizes that I set in showracemenu...
  6. ok. There are many folders and different ones have different .nif files so idk which one the game uses by default. Also different saves use different files so how would I know which goes to which?
  7. I have many saves in Skyrim, but different Saves have different bodies! So one save may have thin females, another will have curvy women. How do I fix this? and where are those body meshes saved for each save-game?
  8. I've tried shadow remover, and I've messed with my skyrimprefs.ini (both of them), set a lot of things to =0 and still its not updating in skyrim. I set both prefs files to read only. How do you completely remove shadows?
  9. Yo, so I have a mod, autoharvest, and everything it picks up it shows off in the list, which is never ending, as it just keeps going. Is there a way to disable these messages?
  10. nevermind, i fixed it. Does anyone know how to stop messages in top left from showing up? or just make them go really fast? or make them size 0? I am using auto harvest 2 and it makes a lot of messages show up when it auto loots everything and its extremely annoying.
  11. I installed enb, 0272, with nmm and copied and pasted 'd3d9.exe' and something else and it started giving me CTDs. so I deleted everything that said enb and ran sweetfx enb manager and uninstalled with nmm but cant even get tesv.exe to run, immediately after showing me the dragonborn symbol while loading up (before it even says new game, load) it crashes to desktop. IDK what to do please help me im tired of skyrim crashing all the time. it isn't a mod, only enb, my mods worked fine before enb.
  12. OK EVERYBODY Since no one wants to help me I will start making this mod by myself. I will call it "A Different Multiplayer". I will code it in C++. If anyone wants to help please do so. If someone could please help me find: 1. A free dedicated server 2. the Skyrim Development Kit - where do I get it from? Otherwise someone with the Dev Kit could help me so I don't have to download and install it, they could share? I will also do Blender so a file sharing site would be good.
  13. Thank you! I really want this mod to be created because Skyrim Online's developers had to stop working on it because they didn't have enough time. I already know Skyrim Online has a server and a custom launcher, it wouldn't take that long to do the same for a much smaller mod. No NPC's have to be remade, only checkpoints placed on the battlefield and multiplayer functionality to be implemented. Since this world is much smaller than what Skyrim Online wanted theirs to be, only a few "server nodes" would have to be processing data, and only data that players create - there won't be any extra data that NPC's generate. Lastly, since there are no "fighting" NPC's, they don't have to be synchronized on every player's screen. Only players have to be synchronized. While I'm not saying this mod is better than Skyrim Online, I am saying that it should be easier to program and less time consuming to do so.
  14. Firstly, this is not the same as Skyrim Online. This mod is NOT a TRUE Skyrim multiplayer, but it IS a TRUE Skyrim PVP. This mod, that I am proposing, is a much simpler version of a Skyrim multiplayer experience and would not have many of the vanilla dungeons or quests. It is a much smaller Skyrim world, but has a few points of interest: 1. working PVP 2. trading 3. Chat 4. Merchant NPC's 5. Grouping THE WORLD The world will be much smaller than the original one. It will stretch from Whiterun to Rorikstead and will NOT have any enemy NPC's. The world will just be the terrain of the vanilla game without any hostile NPC's - it will be a purely pvp world, to simplify any coding necessary. Take Whiterun and Rorikstead, have it be the only cities, and get rid of all the NPC's, and then add NPC's that will sell you equipment for gold. THE GAMEPLAY Two factions- Stormcloaks and Imperials - spawn at opposing cities. When players start, they choose male or female, and imperials spawn as Imperials and stormcloaks spawn as Nords. Players then choose a class - mage, thief, or warrior, and are given basic equipment. Then they spawn in their cities and can join groups and go fight in the lands between the two cities for command points and kills. Any kills on the enemy team will result in earning gold, and you can't damage your own faction. Your faction is marked in a green marker, enemies as red. You can spend gold you earn in your city, When you die, you can lose your armor if someone searches you, and it takes you 30 seconds to respawn (in battle) or 10 seconds ( in your city) Everyone starts as level 1 with all skills at level 10, and you go up from there. THE CODE This mod can be made by taking the normal landscape of Skyrim, cutting out that piece of it, and then writing a new launcher that fits the aforementioned criteria. A server is necessary, and coders with multiplayer programming experience will be necessary. If there is someone who would be interested in programming please leave a reply. I am serious about this mod, and it shouldn't be as hard to program as Skyrim Online. If you like my Idea, please spread it on, and maybe even ask Bethesda for help!
