  1. It's a simple thing, but I'd like to see a mod that mixes the romanced and max affinity dialogues for each companion. I like a lot of the bff lines, and it's sad to never hear them once you romance someone. If anyone has any tutorials on how to do this, I'd be happy to give it a shot myself.
  2. Both, I guess. I made a script, but I don't know how to get it to work with the NMM. I've never done anything with xml files or scripts before, so I'm kind of clueless.
  3. Thank you so much for making this! It's very well written and easy to use. I do have one question, and it's probably really obvious, but I don't know how to make the script actually work with the nmm.
  4. Yes. I've played the entire DLC twice without ever seeing the mark. I even reinstalled the game, and I still don't have the mark. I don't know if it's some weird bug or what. I also can't uncook my game files either (the xbm files won't convert into another format). I don't know if that's related at all.
  5. It's actually in the main game files under content\content0\dlc\ep1
  6. Would some kind soul be willing to upload the resources for Geralt's face texture with the new mark from the dlc? I can't manage to convert the xbm files at all, and after two days of trying, I finally gave up.
  7. I was using several texture mods before the expansion dropped, namely the Geralt_TW2_E3_Retexture, and even after I uninstalled it, Geralt's mark doesn't show up. Not really game breaking, but it's weird. I uninstalled all of my mods and it still didn't show up. Tried loading a point prior to receiving the mark - no dice. Anyone have any idea how to fix this, (preferably without reinstalling the entire game) or do I just wait for an update from the texture mod that's compatible with Hearts of Stone?
  8. Thanks so much! I was sure there had to be a command for that, but I couldn't find it. You are a god send; now I can finish my collection of artifacts!
  9. I've got some empty and some with lesser souls. I'm thinking that craftybits is the culprit, because it changes some yarn into wool yarn instead. Even after disabling it, the shrine still doesn't let me start the quest. Hmm...
  10. Ok, so I'm working on doing all of the daedric quests - finished Nocturnal and Pyrites with no issues. I head to Sheogorath's shrine, talk to his followers, and when I activate the statue, I get the "You do not have the proper offering Shoegorath requires" message. Um, yes I do. I have a lesser soul gem (7 of them), lettuce (x10) and yarn, and am level 17. I've done the quest a hundred times before, but for some reason it's not working now. Disabled all of my mods hoping it was a conflict, but it still doesn't work. Is there some sort of command I can use to force the quest to start?
  11. Yes, I’ve read the books (the two published in English, at any rate) and know about the Trial of Grasses. I know they’re not literally mutants, but that’s what they’re called because of their inhuman skills, and that’s why I used the term. I disagree with not adding block. It’s stressed in Blood of Elves that Witchers must know how to properly parry, dodge, block, and repel their enemies, when they’re teaching Ciri her swordplay. Blocking in Oblivion isn’t strictly for shields; it’s also used with weapons and hand-to-hand. It can also reduce the damage you take, and when you’re leveled in it, you can recoil, disarm, and knock down opponents. I don’t think anyone primarily trained in combat would want to do without. Witchers can only use the five Signs, and even then, Yeneffer says that those are all relatively simple spells, which is why I don’t think the race/class should be specialized in magic. But then, once you become a higher level, you’d want to have the sign level up with you… A quest for runes would be great – maybe we could also try adding blade coating, though I’m not sure if that’s possible. I don’t think we’d need to add any elixirs, since the game seems to cover a broad range of effects. The medallion is a must, in my opinion, and Geralt’s outfit and swords are too cool not to have. I’ll also help in whatever way I can, but my modding skills are not so good.
  12. Hmm, there are two hairstyles that are close, but I can't use them because they conflict with my other mods. They look just a touch too feminine to me, but maybe someone could adjust it so it's more accurate. *shrug* I fail at modding, so don't look at me. I was thinking it might be fun to make a custom race for witchers, since they're mutated humans. We could give them better strength, speed, agility and endurance, but in exchange they have a very low personality and possibly bad luck? They would also have 100% disease resistance, and something like 75% poison resistance. They'd have to be skilled in blade, block, athletics, acrobatics, light armor, sneak and alchemy. Or something really close to that. For their spells they could have night-eye, flare, protect, calm, command humanoid/creature, some kind of magic resistance, and maybe disintegrate weapon/armor. It would also be neat to give them something like Eye of Fear as a lesser power, since normal people are terrified of them. Er, sorry if I'm hijacking your thread, ryann122, wasn't my intention. :\
  13. I'd love to have the Witcher in my game; two of the best RPG's together. I don't know anything about modding, but I don't know if it will be possible to add Geralt's fighting style to the game. I do have Deadly Reflexes and Unnecessary Violence, and while it's not close to a witcher's style, it's better than the six moves we get with Vanilla. I think it would be great to add Geralt's armor, swords, and medallion to the game. Perhaps we could put an enchantment on it for detect life and resist magic or something. Here’s some more pictures of Geralt’s sword. Sword 1 Sword 2 And the medallion Medallion I've been working on adding some of the characters to the game. So far I only have Geralt and Dandelion, but I'd be happy to share them. They aren't perfect, mind, but maybe someone with more skills than me can tweak them until they are. It would be great if someone could make Dandilion a companion; I tried several times, but for some reason my construction set always says there’s a missing object and crashes. http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m315/madampudifoot/misc/GeraltvsFacegen.png Dandilion Er, let me know if they’re worth sharing, and I’ll upload them. They look a little different in game, since facegen textures don’t convert right. I’ll try and get some in-game pics later.
  14. Ok, so to start off, I've played with Better Cities before, and it worked perfectly. I took a hiatus from Oblivion, and can't honestly remember if I've added or changed anything in between. All I know is that now, whenever I go to the IC Marketplace, I have a ton of ruts along the outermost streets, and NPC's fall in and can't get out. All of the stairs and doors are also placed too high up to get to without jumping. I'm able to get to everything, but it's still annoying watching townspeople bumble around. There are also quite a few floating crates, barrels, and misc objects free-floating too. Screenshots: http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m315/ma...t/misc/conv.jpg http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m315/ma...t/misc/door.jpg http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m315/ma...t/misc/gate.jpg http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m315/ma...ot/misc/rut.jpg I've never had this issue before, and I have no idea what might be causing it. All of the other parts of the IC are fine, as well as all other towns. I could just use the construction set and drop things down and fix the landscape, but it will be a hassle nonetheless. Here's a list of the mods I have - the three black lines are things that aren't active. http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m315/ma...isc/modlist.jpg I also tried deactivating everything, and doing the load order over so Better Cities and all of its parts are near the end, but it didn't work. Has anyone else seen this problem or have any suggestions?
