  1. I'm not a wizard but I have a lot of experience with CTDs... so I'll give you some advices that might help you to be happy. 1)Memory Fix Patch: If you do not have this correctly installed your game is going to CTD randomly every time your Skyrim reach 256mb. 2)XP32 Skeleton: Install the body you like CBBE, UNP etc... and them install the Skeleton, replace everything, and for god's sake do not replace any bone. Most of the custom animations that you can download will change a bone. Just be careful with that. 3)Skyrim does require a monster PC sometimes: I used to get CTD very frequently and it was because my PC ran out of VRAM, just for testing purposes put the game in low quality and play around, see if that can reduce your CTDs. 4)TESV: Clean your master files with this tool, it is quite useful. In youtube you can search for tutorials. 5)LOOT: If you don't have deep knowledge in modding you gotta use LOOT, it will try to avoid any incompatibilities between mods, and if you're having an error that might harm your game LOOT is very likely to tell you. I'm running skyrim with 150 mods with Ugridstoload 9, never CTD. Just follow my advises and they might help you, they worked for me. 2. Woow you guys forget about this, I just found a solution  . I promise I will put 100% chance of decapitation and slay those f*****s who were causing instability to my game. Now I can cut heads all the time with no problems. I'm going to post the solution I found, and how I found it, maybe it will work for other people with this problem. Because Skyrim is a little brat and it just CTD is almost impossible to understand what is wrong... I was searching and I found out that some ppl were having similar issues when their characters were decapitated, so I tried their solution, for their problem was quite similar to mine. The solution was to tweak two values in SKSE>Plugings>niooverride.ini [Overlays/Face] ; "Face [Ovl#]" and "Face [sOvl#]"; Determines how many face overlays there should beiNumOverlays=0 ; Default[3]iSpellOverlays=0 ; Default[1] *Note: If your having any problems like this change those values by 0. My problem was that one of my mods which makes NPCs blush when intoxicated or having sex was conflicting every time their heads were cut off, I don't know the technical solution but it is logical to think that if the head goes off from the character the script cannot work properly, as a result you get the Skyrim blessing: CTD. I was able to figure this out because when I changed the values by 0 in niooverraide.ini the game did not crash when cutting heads, but the script started to show an error in the upper corner of the screen (It would be beautiful if every time there's a problem the problem were told instead of getting a CTD). So what I did was just disable the blush on NPC and the damn problem is gone! CTD are not for "coincidence", so this might be useful to you if you're hunting an specific problem in your Skyrim, everything is logical. Happy Hunting
  3. Hello, I'm getting CTD only when I decapitate enemies, in the beginning I didn't know what the problem was, but after some test I found out that it only happens when any decapitation animation is execute, also, sometimes when doing regular killmoves (I can play 4 hours with no problems, but suddenly one killmove can give me a glorious CTD when killing an enemy). To avoid this problem I'm using TheDanceOfDeath reducing any decapitation chance to 0%, but you know what? it's not that fun, and I know what the problem is, so maybe you guys know what is causing this instability. To be honest I did finished the game already and I did enjoy it a lot after a tremendous amount of struggle to make it playable, so now I just wander the world for fun, and I found out this little issue. If it can be fixed wonderful, otherwise I'm not going to strive anymore, I just got sick of Skyrim's damns CTD. "Damn stormcloacks; everything was good until I CTD" Note: Are you curious about how my Skyrim looks like? 4. @tejano2828: I have that patch since I start modding my game. I just wrote that above... that is called SSME. I saw that video like 3 times, I know how it works, my game crashes, and when I track the memory usage with the .log file it doesn't reach 512mb, so it shouldn't crash, but it does. @Old Hand: My problem is not related to my savegame, it works fine. But if I increase my Ugrids to 9 my game will crash, otherwise It won't crash. @Shubal: I have that mod installed. Although it's good it's not so great comparing it to Ugrids, I've tested it and see it by myself. Anyways, I won't die for not increasing my ugrids, but it could be a nice feature to improve, my computer can handle that and more.
  5. Greetings, I thought it was impossible but after a monstrosity amount of test I can safely say that my Skyrim is beautiful and 100% playable with no repulsive CTD (yeahi) But there's one last thing I know I can do to dramatically improve the look of my game. Yes, I'm talking about tweaking Ugridstoload to 7,9, or 11. First, I've got a pretty decent computer: -i7 4790k @4,4Ghz -GTX 970 Gigabyte @OC1450mhz -Vengeance 16GB of ram 1600mhz As I said, my game is 100% playable with no CTD, I've got like 120mods running, a lot of textures and some other things. But whenever I tweak my Ugridstoload value to a higher one, let's say 9, eventually my game crashes. I stress the game with console commands "tcl" and "player.setav speedmult 1500" and I just test how much time it takes before my game breaks, and yes, it breaks, and the reason is not other than Ugridstoload, which it's quite strange due to the fact that I'm using SSME. I've tried solutions such as "Real ugrids to load solution" link: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48387/? and "Stable ugrids" http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41592/?, I still get CTD when I tweak my Ugridstoload. So my question is why? there are people claiming that they've played for hundreds of hours with Ugrids to 7 or 9, and they get no issues. At this point, do you play with Ugrids? Have you had any issues? How you made your ugrids stable? Thanks for your comments!
  6. Hi, thanks for the answer. However, I figured the problem out few hours ago. It was quite the opposite; I wasn't using any ParallaxTerrain textures, only the common 2k textures, so I just swap it into false and that was it, all fixed.
  7. Greetings, I've played with ENB Real Vision for long time, but I found one that I like even more; it's called "Project ENB" and it seems to be quite known and popular. It is beautiful, I think it is everything I ever wanted, but there's a problem, and hopefully you might know how to deactivate this effect which I dislike. I thought in giving an explanation but I'm going to post a picture instead, it's easier to let you know what I want to convey. Bad pictures samples: 1) http://postimg.org/image/pia89p39j/ 2) http://postimg.org/image/69d5joj47/ How it should look: 1) http://postimg.org/image/ma5qwngzr/ 2) http://postimg.org/image/vtffq44hz/ I'm almost sure this is caused by some ENB's option, don't know which one tho. ================================= CPU: i7 4790k 4.4Ghz GPU: GTX 970 Gigabyte @OC 1420mhz RAM: Vengeance 16GB 1600mhz MB: Msi H97 gaming 3 =================================
  8. Hello every1. This actually is not a problem, it is just a doubt. Some mods work excellent, but sometimes there are mods that I don't know where to go or where to find them. For example, the popular TERA armors (any version CBBE, UNP, etc) Some armors can be crafted at the blacksmith, but some others are not there. I thought it was due to my Blacksmith level, so I did cheat and put a command on the console, and I upgraded my level to 150. However, I'm not able to see them. It is the same with this mod: http://skyrimphantom.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-41.html And this one too: http://skyrimphantom.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-64.html?sp I do install them, but I cannot see them anywhere. The author doesn't specify where to get them, so that makes it even harder. So, if you have a lot of experience in this, could you tell me why I don't see them? I'll be very glad if you can help me out. Thanks!
  9. First, thanks for taking your time trying to help me. To make things clear: My game without mods don't crash; it's literally perfect. So there's not need in blame my computer or any file which I may have deleted unintentionally. So, this possibility is discarded. @gadalftw: I haven't installed the unofficial patches. This could be the reason why my game is so unstable. Which patches do I need? I was taking a look and I found that there is one path for each DLC. Are all they necessary? @Xelan255: Thanks for your answer mate. It seems very complicated, I saw the video and took a look at the information. What I'm going to do is installing the unofficial patch and see if there's any improvement. @Shelene:Thanks for your answer. The game without mods runs smoothly and there's not CTD. This means that my "Stock" game is not the problem. The problem starts when I do install ALMOST ANY MOD. @Gloops1: The game is not bad. I understand you; you are just frustrated because you can't enjoy the game as you would like to. It makes me frustrated too, I waste too many hours of my holidays in this, but the reality is that this game still essential for true RPG lovers. Just in case, a lot of mods that causes me troubles (like TERA ARMORS) don't cause any issues to anyone but me. I'm starting to suspect that the reason why my game crashes is because of essential things and patches, some of which I really didn't know they were that necessary. Now my question is: Besides the unofficial patch, what else is over there that is considered as something essential in order to make the game sustainable? I think this could be the difference between success and failure in modding. ========== My PC Specs: RAM 4GB, IntelĀ® 2 quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40Ghz, Ati Radeon HD 3870. It's not a big deal, but as I said in the picture, it is more than enough to run the game in medium graphics with 1080p of resolution (60fps).
  10. Hello guys. Before I start I want you to know that I was very exited in the begining. Now I'm very hopeless, I don't know what to do in order to make my game stable. I will make this quick, Skyrim is a nice game, there are mods (thanks to you people) that I did love so much that I decided to buy the game on steam 2 days ago. I have some modding experience from other games. I am not a modder, I don't make any mod, but I install and use mods which people make, which means that I'm not that amateur, I know how to make the mods work. Ok here is the issue: I cannot make my game Stable and I'm using ONLY 4 MODS which is ridiculous, it's very ridiculous because there are people that use an average of 30 - 80 mods and they're fine. I would like to know how do they do that. The problem is that I get CTD every time I got out to Skyrim, I mean the meadow. I barely play for 4 minutes without a damn crash which send me to my desktop everytime. Besides this problem I haven't noticed any others; CTD is the only single problem that I have. I'm going to attach 2.img to show you my game and my nexus mod manager. Please, If you know something you can teach me to solve this I'll be very grateful. The idea is to have fun with the mods, but they're making me insanely frustrated. And play without mods is not an opcion for me. I do prefer to eliminate the game :c ( I love my girl character). PD: The mods that I'm using can be found very easily in Skyrimnexus website. Picture: http://postimg.org/image/vr9degccr/
