Later :smile: For anyone looking for the answer, it is seems to be from PatchusMaximus.esp Update For anyone else who sometimes wonders "What Mod Is This From?" While IsharaMeradin brings up a very useful & basic method, I found this awesome mod: www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/44596/? You can drop an item from your invetory, open the console & click on the item. It will show you the Base ID & what mod is responsible for it. Very nice. :smile:
  2. Hi! I have just picked up Skyrim from a long break & see that Daedric Poison Arrows is a crafting option at the forge. You need existing arrows to make them. Does anyone know what mod is responisble for this? I thought it was PerMa, but using the CK & looking in the PerMa Master esm, I cannot find any evidence of it. No recipe, ammo, projectile, etc. Any response in finding/helping to find the source will be appreciated. Thank You. Also, what is a CW Arrow? I have it listed in my notes, but no explanation as to what it is, ha ha. See it in the CK as well. Thanks. :)
  3. I believe Spring Cleaning MOD takes care of this. One the house is deleted, so are the hammer markers.

I have made changes to the ini file/s for ingame mouse acceleration & understand that this is not new news to have the menu/pipboy cursor go unaffected, at least I THINK I understand this is the case.   7. Sorry if this is not the correct place for this. Please advise if not. Some months back I recall choosing the View Forum Thread option from a mod's Post page, then using the search function to find an issue that I knew was posted before, with no search results found. I would go through page by page until I found it. I thought that this would be fixed so I didn't give it too much thought. I tried it today & still came back without any search results. I spent a good amount of time going through the pages until I found it. There it was, the same way I typed it into the search bar. If I remember right, the forum was going through some changes around the time I first noticed it & why I dismissed it. Is anyone else having this issue? Thanks for any feedback. Edit: I am starting to question the usefulness of this forum. 90% of my queries go unanswered. It's one thing when it's about gaming, but when it's an issue with the forum itself... Very frustrating. If I have missed what is deemed an obvious response to this elsewhere, maybe a guy could get a break & be informed? Help someone out? Isn't this the purpose of a forum/community? I'm all for learning what I can by research, but things get missed from time to time. This is the tool that I use to find the answers I'm looking for before asking for help. I do not know what the reason is for such lack of response here, could be many reasons. Not trying to be ungrateful to any that put in much work here, merely giving some feedback. So long. ntg
  8. What are you having trouble with? If you can do this, then you won't have to pick & choose what mods you want to install, you can do most things yourself, which is a nice option to have. DL is, for the most part, a pretty easy game to mod. Once you know where stuff is ha ha.
  9. I don't know. Based on the name I can guess that it will add a zombie horde background noise even when zombies are not near. If that is the case, I would prefer it off. I imagine you could change the setting to something like 1.0 & see if you notice any difference.

  11. As long as the virals are out, I don't really mind, I don't even mind if zombies come out of the woodwork when firing weapons. Seems more realistic, as a zombie game goes. But I'm still interested to see what your finding are. Thanks

  13. Thanks to the direction of leatherneck0297 I believe, for anyone interested, that I have found the viral spawn alert. In the hdr_snd_groups.scr file. This file is found in data\scripts\audio Locate SoundGroup("infected_upset_alarmed_exterior") Line 6437 Change the volume to (0.0) Now I do still hear a hint of some other sounds that came with the alert. But it very minimal & I don't mind. I don't hear the screaming & crashing. I'm sure you could look around this area with the "Spawn" wording & see if you can disable it completely. Thanks to jermeysniperjer123 & leatherneck0297 I now have a viral free gaming experience. Sounds like I just got back from the doctor with good news. :laugh: Will Update if I find that I am in error.
  14. You can change the noise type for each weapon listed in inventory.scr and inventory_gen.scr. It's usually the last line of each weapon script. You can also adjust the noise types themselves (like the loudness as perceived by zombies). I don't have the files in front of me right now, but I believe the noise types are defined in hdr_snd_groups. Oh, ok. I did find it before, shotgun for example, in the inventory_gen.scr file. NoiseType HEAVY_SHOT I tried disabling it with // in front as well as at the end. Even tried deleting it, but had no change ingame, so I gave up on it. I do see in the inventory.scr file, though, that some items have NoiseType NONE. I will give that a try. I will look again in the hdr file. Hopefully find a way to disable the "Virals are Coming" sound. Thanks for the direction! Update: Replacing with NONE does not, at least alone, seem to do anything & have unable to silence/suppress weapon fire.
  15. I did not delete the BannedAreaAttribs("NOISE_SPAWN_BLOCKER") Line & it seems to work fine. I would like to know also how to disable the screamo/metal scream sound effect that comes from making a disturbance. I cannot seem to locate where it's housed. May have looked right at it, but did not recognize it as the culprit. In a game where you can McGyver a weapon that burns/electrocutes/poisons enemies, craft exploding ninja stars, create freezing grenades, etc, you cannot make a simple ghetto suppressor out of a pop bottle & duct tape. WTF. I would like to know where to silence weapons & not just the audio, as I did find that, kind of fun shooting a double barrel shotgun with no sound other than the projectiles tearing through zombie guts, but the attraction level so that it makes a little audio ring on mini map.
  16. This is beginning to appear for me as well. At first it was just when I entered my personal home mod that has two mannequins, but now it's happening when lieaving & when leaving whiterun via front gates. This started not long after installing Perkus Maximus. Don't know if there is any connection. It seems that my manequinn mod is to blame. I have tried moving it above certain other mods with no change. I have disabled the mod until I can figure out what the crack is the problem. Thus, problem, I'm hoping, temporarily solved. Too tired to mess with it anymore tonight. Yawn...
  17. Hopefully the issue is obvious & someone can easily relay what's up. I thought that it would be as simple as any other re-texturing, but for some reason I do not see the changes ingame . I converted an armor to my CBBE preset & now I would like to apply a tatoo to the body so that it only shows up when wearing that armor. I have directed the body in the torso.nif, both _0 & _1, to the modified .dds. The canges show up in NifSkope & the CK. Have tried replacing the femalebody_1.dds with this texture to see if there was something going on there. Still no change. Does the CK have to get involved here? Or do modifications need to be made to the _msn.dds etc etc? Any knowledge or links on this topic would be appreciated. Thank you. If this is not the best suited place for this topic, please advise.
  18. Have you tried going into Options>Advanced>View Distance (Tab) & making any changes there?
  19. If you are still having problems, go to YT & search for "Skylight 12 (Skyrim Mod Preview) : SkyUI v4" a video by Gopher. It should explain everything. I was having problems with this as I had the F key bound to strafe as well. Changed the groups key to V. Works great.
  20. A note on your CK New Weapon edit, I have never been able to find added items through the console. I believe that you have to place the item/s into the world through the CK by placing it/them in a location, or by creating forging reciepe/s. I am too new to offer any help on the texture issue, other than have you tried a new game? Or did you install them before starting? Seems strange that if they are being placed in the correct location, that they wouldn't load.

  22. As the title says, after converting a Tera Armor to my preset in bs, it is no longer visible in ns. This is the first time this has happened & I don't have any idea where to start looking. If you know why, I would appreciate any insight that you may have. And since I'm here, know of any good links for learning how to edit the shinyness of meshes/textures, as well as allow for semi transparent alpha channles in NifSkope? Thanks ntg
