Replying 6 years later, but still, maybe someone else can still find it useful; the right way to get those gauntlets seems to do a bit of tricky platforming. Enter the abandoned palace, climb up the coffins left of the barred gate, jump onto the chandelier to get to the protruding coffin on the other side, from there you can get onto the pipe above the door, and then walk over the door to the gauntlets. And then you're in the palace which is a pretty big area to explore.

I managed to resolve the issue by installing the mods with Mod organizer rather than NMM. Although it does stil bug me a little what I was doing wrong before that,...

Whenever I install a mod, that is supposed to add new equipment into the game; for example Cloaks of Skyrim, Immersive armours, dragonknight armour,... it just doesn't appear. The mods are installed, I can see the names of the added items in the inventory, but when I equip them, their textures simply don't appear, either making the armor invisible in the case of cloaks or making parts of my character invisible in case of armor pieces; it seems that the textures don't work for whatever reason. I first tried installing with NMM, when that didn't work, I tried installing manually, I tried if any mods might be in conflict with some other mods by running them alone, nothing worked. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? (Using PC version of Skyrim, updated to 1.9.32.0, with all three extensions)
