Hello everyone, I played around with skyrim and mods a bit before but I had a crappy computer. Now I have a much better one and want to try the stuff I could not before. This is what I have now. I7-6700 quad core 3.4 { 4.0 turbo} GTX 1060 3gb 16 gb ddr4 1 tb harddrive 120 gb ssd windows 10 I am hoping this will be suitable to play now with lots of mods. One question is it better to use steam to play though or just download the game itself? Also, should I put it on the 1 tb harddrive or the ssd? My operating sys is on the ssd.

I looked at a mod a while back that I would like to try now, it made any of your followers or companions change clothes when entering a house. for instance, changing from armour to house clothes and such. I have looked but with no luck. If anyone knows which mod this is, I wouild be greatful for the help. thanks.

I have been playing around with MO instead of NMM a bit and I have a problem getting mods that use bat files to work. For instance, All Spells. It says there is no date and will not work. Any ideas?

I use MO and when I try to load bat files like all spells for instance, it says there is no data. It says if I load it, it prob wont work and they are right. So my question is how do I load those type of mods?

thank you for your reply. now another question, I use mod organizer and it merged bodyslide 2 with cbbe. when i go into the file to use it, there are two now. where the first one is also has a file that when you open it, there is another bodyslide. which one is the right one to use, or does it matter?

After I go into bodyslide and make the body that I want, how do I get it in game?

Does one or the other have any advantages over the other? I know its mostly personal taste, but does one have more problems that the other? Can you use the bounce effects on both? What are some the users likes and disslikes about them?

I have not tried it yet, but I have read on the forums that Mod Manager can do that. From what I read, you can load diff mods for diff characters. Like I said though, I have not tried it so not for sure.

It does, thanks for all the info. i will all the things that you mentioned. I did uninstalled most of my mods and deleted my saves, then started over. So far, the load times are great so I will load one mod at a time from now and see how it goes. Thanks again for all the help

I tried the second files you mention. It helped a lot after Im in game with loads from cell to cell, but the start time is still around 8 min or so. Times when using fast travel is a couple mins also. If I the cont/alt/delete keys and bring up the task bar, then hit cancel. Most times it ends the load time and I can still play, sometimes though it closes the game. So is better in game but not starting.

when starting the game, anywhere from 2 to sometimes 9 or 10 minutes. changing cells vary, sometimes a min or so and sometimes 5 to 6 minutes. I thought maybe it was my load order, but i used loot and wrye bash and they say its good. I also only have 45 mods and patchs on nmm.

Why do I have long load times when starting the game and when changing cells? I have used LOOT, Wrye Bash, and TES5Edit and everything looks good. Any ideas?

How do you get the bodies you make on bodyslide to the race menu/?

I am just a beginner at using mods, so please bear with me. If i install a file and it says the file already exist in another mod and ask if i want to override it, do i override it or not. And if so will they both still work? Another fiile question is similar to the first, it will say the file already exit. It ask if I want overwrite it or no? If no, then it will load by itself. So, if it loads by itself will it still work? Sorry if this sounds confusiing, but as I said I am still learning this stuff. thanks
