  1. Everything is working perfectly for me after both the F4 update and the NMM update. Launching from NMM and none of my installed mods ever got unchecked/deactivated. It's like nothing ever changed.
  2. I was just able to play the game last night after getting the new steam update and the NMM 61.3 update. Had no mod problems whatsoever, and everything works flawlessly as it did before. Great work! :-)
  3. Bumping because I desperately want this. Probably going to be one of the first mods done once all the tools are available.
  4. To be honest, I was thinking the same thing during these past couple of days. This game needs mods more than FO4 or NV ever did. I also agree with the statement that Skyrim was a huge leap from Oblivion, but FO4 isn't that big of a leap from FO3/NV. Sure, updated engine, but overall gameplay doesn't feel terribly different. I'm still enjoying the game of course, I just want more something.
  5. Researching and dealing with the return of the dragons, meeting with the greybeards, and yes, hunting down Alduin are all done through the "main" quest.
  6. When you are high enough level Daedric starts to appear. Not sure about Dragon armor, though. I thought I saw a guy wearing it the other day but I could have been mistaken. It was a mercenary type guy walking down the road.
  7. 1.3 seems to run great, and you no longer need the 4gb launcher. Some people with the stuttering/low FPS problem have found that checking Skyrim to run as administrator fixed it. I think it's about time for the 1.1 people to remove their tinfoil hats and patch. Keep a backup, though, just in case...
  8. I'm having much more fun with my 2nd character... With the first I went through the main quest, civil war, companions, college, and just got bored. With this new character, I'm taking things much "slower" and doing more side quests and exploring. I'm level 31 and havn't even met the Greybeards yet, and really havn't gone anywhere but the areas around Whitefun. I've only just visited Markarth and Solitude briefly.
  9. Mine seems to run the same with the new patch as it did before with the 4gb launcher. Constant 60 FPS, full ultra settings. No crashes, no funky errors, lots of graphic and texture mods. I'm starting to think some people's computers are just prone to failure.
  10. Skyrim does not suck, not by a long shot. It does not, however, live up to all the wonderous expectations we had from all the interviews with Todd Howard talking about how this "new" engine was going to blow our minds and there were no limits to anything you could do in the game. We all learned pretty quick it wasn't as grand as we were told, and therefore thought it sucked. And if it sucks so much, why can't anyone stop playing it?
  11. I'd rather go Elsweyr... Acutally, if they could combine Elsweyr and Valenwood, you would have a piece of land roughly the same size as Skyrim but with a lot more varied environments.
  12. Rich Merchants Mod: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=769 Problem solved.
  13. It's just there so you have something pretty to see if you climb to the top of the mountains to have a look around.
  14. It is a useless perk in my experience... things die from your blows long before the bleeding kills them. I've never been able to notice the DOT.
