Let me add some more info on the aura I've noticed/found. -It is removed if you shift into Vampire Lord form. -Upon reverting to regular form, the aura remains gone. -Switching to First Person view causes the aura to immediately return

Basically when reading the Elder Scrolls during the quest, an aura of light is applied to you. The problem is that frequently the aura stays with you, especially if the quest is advanced with the console. What I'm looking for is some sort of fix that removes the aura from your character or an item that when used does. I had the same problem, and used the console to advance the quest. The problem is that it causes another bug, where you have a perpetual sphere of light around you (It's way worse than it looks in the picture in my other thread) setstage DLC1VQ06 61 That's the console command if you want to just deal with the sphere until we get a community fix/patch. It goes away if you morph in and then out, but will come back if you go first person, so just stay in third person

The first bug is that when I gather the seven moth swarms and stand in the light, using the Elder Scroll doesn't do anything except show a book window with no book. To get past that I used the console to advance the quest, but that lead into bug two. Now I have this weird globe aura around me, it's quite bright and makes seeing quite difficult. It goes away if I morph into Vampire Lord, but when I revert and go into first person mode it comes back. If I stay in third person, it doesn't appear, however that is quite the impractical solution.
