  1. Mount and Blade: Warband, its multiplayer is what makes it shine but it does have a very fun singleplayer. Also a tone of mods for it, I can safely say it's the only game I've consistantly played for 6 or 7 years. Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, It's amazing.
  2. I love this idea! I actually was thinking about something like this earlier today. Though I was thinking more mid 1600's, to have some of that Three Musketeers flair.
  3. Fantastic work! I'm really looking forward to this. Just a heads up, the stuff from The Witcher 1 is open for modders. So if you run out of things maybe look there for some things? they're not as pretty as The Witcher 2's stuff, but it's something.
  4. My dream mod: Weapons with various weights, swing speeds, and sizes Directional and manual attacking and blocking. Three damage types: Cut that does the most base damage Blunt that does moderate damage. Has a slight bonus against armor. Has a chance to knock someone down upon impacted based on weapon weight and defenders block skill. Can crush through a block , based on weapon weight and defenders block skill. Pierce lowest base damage. Very high armor penetration. Damage bonus if hit the head. Damage based on damage type, location of the hit, defender's armor, speed of the attack, and the angle of the hit in respect to the initiation of the attack. So for example: To get the most damage out of a sideways swing from the right you would want the hit to be in between 45 degrees and 135 degrees from your right shoulder. Distance also matters, if the NPC is face hugging you, you wont be able to maneuver that two hander that's three times bigger than both of you combined in a way to hit him with enough force to hurt him. So you have to get something smaller.
  5. May I be so bold as to request the combat system to go along with these?
  6. Hello everyone! I'm in need of a mod that adds mount and blade-esque combat, meaning directional and manual attacking and blocking(4 directional). Preferred though begrudgingly not required would be various damage types such as blunt, pierce and slash and varying weapon lengths within the weapon category. Any one know of any thing?
  7. Hello all! After playing the Mount and Blade games I've found Skyrim's combat to be quite drawl. To me it's just not as exciting and eventually becomes a burden to play through. So if any modders out there have it in their heart to create a combat system for Skyrim similar to Mount ad Blade's I would be eternally grateful. For those of you who are not familiar here's a video.
  8. Mount and Blade combat in Skyrim,
