  1. A lot of the mods are not useable now due to the new update/dlc. Some few do work, since the game itself now has built in mod support. You don't need an external mod manager anymore. The place you need to put the Mods you down load is ove in your Documents section of the computer. You should look for a folder called MyGames or something simular. In there you should find a folder for Battletech. Make a new Folder inside that called Mods. In THAT folder is where your downloaded unzipped mod folder will go. When you have all that done, you need to start the game and find the tab for Mod Support. In there you can enable or disable mods you have. It will require a game restart to finalise the activation. If all goes well, the mods you wnat shoudl now be working for you. If they are not, chances are they were not updated to the newest patch or dlc. Hope this helped and good luck.
  2. There is a small chance its ModTek. I may be wrong but ModTek was supposed to be an external Mod injector before the game itself started having its own built in Mod Support. This may be causing a conflict withen the game by having Modtek as a mod and active.

  4. I am looking for some one knowledgable in in custom modded mech design. I am not asking some one to build for me, I want to do that, my issue is I don't know what the first steps are and so on. I have seen custom mechs to uplaod and use, and now I want to build one of my own as a unique variation. Anyone who knows how, please help?
  5. One of the bigger mods, I think it was Battletech Enhanced 30XX or something like that did have the ability to upgrade or unlock moe deployable mechs. How ever, when i was looking into it, it does not function properly with the latest update/dlc. I dont know if the modder is working on fixing that or not, but I too would enjoy being able to field more than one lance. I do know a lot of others argue against allowing more more, given the Leopard was supposed to only be able to hold Four Mechs, no matter what the weight they ended up being. In the lore it was not about the weight of hte mech so much as to the sorage rack or cradle that held the mech in place was the limitation. Unions (and I may be wrong, this old OLD memory stuff) held up to Twelve mechs and Overlords were cpable of carrying Twenty Four. And thats just the Mech alone, not counting the Aero Space Fighters each was supposed to be able to transport as well.
