  1. I'm going to test this out. Honestly getting tired of the CTDs, I trimmed down my modlist to barebones and still get them, so this is the last stop before I go for a clean reinstall and extremely careful mod choosing. Edit: Also pretty upset that I can't use any AI mods. Mods like Duel Combat, ACE, and ASIS all add features that made Skyrim feel perfect mechanics wise to me. As it stands I'd honestly prefer Gamebryo over Papyrus. Edit: Also you know a game has big issues when you're spending three times the amount of time you spent playing it, fixing it.
  2. Pardon me for the non professional insert, but in case no one has mentioned it yet, there is an animated cape that goes with the Nightingale Armor set that makes me believe that animated clothing and hair is going to be more than possible.
  3. Hi there, thanks for the suggestion. Would this be viable on a 64 bit system? And If I had 8 GB of ram, would there be a way to utilize it all with this command? And if so, what would be the value I'd need to input? Sorry for playing 20 questions, It's 4AM for me so I'm half asleep.
  4. The sentiment is shared by me. Even worse that I run it and SKSE. Which essentially means I have to wait for both. But both are worth the wait.
  5. I've been having a more annoying problem as of late. I have Premium membership so I have no problems choosing the big servers to download files... But whenever I wish to download small files, the server always times out. Le Sigh.
  6. That is a known issue with that mod. Thank you, disabled it, and it solved it just fine. Thanks a lot! Thanks for the advice, but stability isn't an issue for me. I can play the game for 6 hours straight without crashing, though I do intend to merge some of my mods to reduce the amount of .esps being loaded.
  7. Hello, was playing my game recently and a new problem seems to have sprung up. For some reason certain NPCs (mostly all non-named ones, the ones that just say things like "Hey there." without opening dialogue), start saying Goodsprings Settler dialogue, like "If you're looking for supplies head over to Chet's" or things about Doc Mitchel, etc. Now I can ignore this for the most part, but it's affecting my Willow Companion for some reason (even at the bottom of the list via FOMM) and some NPCs (Andy the Ranger). I've posted my mod list bellow, thanks for any help/ :)
  8. Hello, I'm trying to make a weapon that acts as a buffer, but I'm not really sure how to do it so that the NPCs I target (friendly ones, and nearby friendlies) don't end up just firing at me. Any help would be a appreciated :)
  9. I for one like the new layout of the site, though I'll miss the old one just as much, and though I have a few things to comment on it. The Bad: 1. The colors have been mentioned by everyone, tone them down, back to the original nexus orange and stuff, and it'll be all good. 2. The buttons need to be changed. I agree, I feel like i"m a seedy download site because of them. 3. The logo looks horrible. If possible, stick to the old banner, it has a... Classic look to it :) 4. The compatibility to browsers needs to be improved. Auto-sizing the pages to fit multiple monitors would be nice (I'm a wide screen user so the site looks squished in between two fat grey walls on my monitor), and the various quips people have mentioned (like the profile page looking messed up for Hickory). The Good: 1. The layout makes it easy to access everything especially for newer members. It's more user friendly. 2. The top part of the page and the bottom part (header and footer) are great. Easy to access everything from both sides. 3. The hot files browser is much improved. No longer do I suffer clicking the image just as it changes, causing me to click into a mod I'm not interested it. 4. The cleanness is great, I do enjoy the fact that the site looks neater. Overall assessment: Good, will be great with improvements. I'm usually inclined to the "don't fix what isn't spoiled" line of thinking, but these changes will be beneficial in the long run, in my honest opinion.
  10. Sorry for this semi necromancy, but I really had to say thank you for this. Helped a lot. Should be stickied or put in a TES4Gecko help thread. I can finally merge my mods now :)
  11. The Facegen bug from the character creator got fixed in the patch. Also, according to most people, [myself included] The Human Noble Origin was the weakest story wise. I suggest you try the Dwarf Noble, easily my favorite one in the bunch. I actually enjoy the game a lot, and many people share my sentiments when we say that a combination of Dragon Age and Oblivion would probably be the most eye-popping, face-melting, RPG game ever. In due time I suspect people will create more open ended campaigns, or edit the original campaign to be more open ended [at the moment Bioware are prepping the game resources for a release, hence the slow flow of mods]. I personally love the characterization, Allistair being one of my favorites, as well as Shale.
  12. My God man, I just found the SM Armor mod earlier, and saw UmmThingy's models... I came (jk but yeah, I was really excited). Then I though "These'd be awesome in game", and suddenly I find myself here... Can't wait till they get released. Great job on the textures, and zergling, can't wait to see them in action... Kudos to UmmThingy, Dreganius and zergling!
  13. Thanks for the update. Hope to see it resolved soon... Hoping to help pay for premium soon as well, at least as soon as pay pal stops being a evil with my card.
  14. Be patient. I myself just got back from quite a long hiatus, finding myself unable to download mods bigger than 2MB, but I'm willing to wait, after all, the community here is one of the best ones I know, and Dark0ne and the admins/mods do great jobs of running this place.
  15. Inno 8800 GT 512mb. For some reasons, I get better FPS outside cities (but not as good as inside buildings), but if I look in certain directions while standing still in cities, my 40 City FPS drops to 17-25, while on the move, my normal city fps is 30-35, but in those certain locations it drops as low as 13 fps... Actually I'm starting to think its a RAM problem, I only have 2 GB (4 512mbs). But it never ever used to get that low before... Now it struggles with 2 NPCs (if lots of magic is used), and basically dies at 3 npcs (7 fps lowest! Any more NPCs and expect abysmal rates).
