  1. Yes, it's me again with an assault rifle/SMG mod idea. But in addition to making them able to be semi auto (I know what has to be done to implement that, but now how to make it a mod). but I have a couple of other alteration ideas. One is to tone down the muzzle flash on the non-suppressed TAC-4 rifles, as it gets pretty bright and annoying in low light conditions. That's the main reason I actually shy away from using them. Secondly, adjust the sounds on the Fusil AR-15 based rifles, to make the standard versions sound less weak and wimpy. I'd suggest using the sound from the Fusil G1-4C carbine, which sounds meaty and purposeful. As to the semi auto assault rifles and SMGs, I do at least know what needs to be changed. Namely of course set full auto to false, and it also seems that you need to alter the sound item in the JSON file "AudioFireType" from "_Full_Automatic" to "_Single". As I mentioned, I know what to change, but not how or how to make it workable as a mod or in-game. Thanks for any help or feedback.
  2. This is a mod that I've been wanting for a while, and I sort of learned how to do it and there's a trick to it. In addition to turning off the full auto function, you also have to alter the sound. Namely, turn the "AudioFireType" from "_Full_Automatic" to "_Single". But even knowing that now, there's a problem. I don't know how to mod any of that into the game. If I had access to the repo files for each weapon, I could make the adjustments myself. Problem is, I don't. I'm also no modder by any means. I know that there was one attempt at such a mod in the "Weapon Modifiers" mod, but that was made before I found out the sound trick, and I've tried to inform that mod maker about it, but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. So in case that doesn't happen, could someone attempt to make a new semi-auto assault rifle/SMG mod with the information above?
  3. Is there a way for someone who may know how to do it to use sounds from another weapon (like say the Tac-4 Mk 2 or Sieger AR552) to give the Tac-4 S/A rifles a loud version though a mod? It's the only weapon in the game that (at least currently) doesn't have a loud equivalent. This is only asking for a sound swap, not an appearance change, given that the suppressor can remain as a blast diverter/flash hider. Anyone on board?
  4. I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in developing a mod for weapons and items to improve their sound effects? Such as tweaking or swapping the sound effects for say the Concrete Assault Rifle and even the AR552 to make them sound more "rifle-like"? Such as swapping in the effects from the G1-4C and basic A33 respectively for example.
  5. Is there a mod (or could one be made) to fix the cloudy/hazy sniper scopes that most sniper rifles have when used in doors or in confined spaces? Just wondering because this happens a lot on most rifles (the Woodsmen variants excepted) when used indoors or in dark/confined areas in Hitman 3, but not in Hitman 2016.
  6. This is basically an idea for a mod that I've been toying with. I'd love for there to be a mod where you can set up certain things for each weapon individually by selecting them and altering things like damage, range, full auto vs semi auto and piercing capabilities. I'm trying to also gauge interest for if such a mod is doable or if anyone would like to take it on?
  7. Hi. I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in making a mod that allows the full auto assault rifles and SMGs to be fired in semi-auto mode. I'd like for this mod to be toggled in SMF (on/off), and that's the only condition that I'm interested in. Is such a mod even possible?
  8. I'm wondering if it could be possible at some point for the Hitman 2 ICA Weapons Mod to be upgraded to Hitman 3 in a form where it doesn't have to replace Mk2 or Mk3 weapons? Or could it be possible if the person or group who made it also make some different Sieger AR552 variants, such as a long barreled full auto version, a suppressed version and a semi-auto version?

I'm wondering if there's a mod, or one in the work or someone is interested in making a weapons performance mod for firearms where the bullet performance drop-off is removed or reduced to more "realistic" proportions? The only thing I sort of dislike about Hitman 3 (and World of Assassination in general) is that stopping power drop off is so extreme that everything is biased towards CQB pretty much. So I'm wondering if there's anything out there or being worked on to address that?
  10. Hi. I'm wondering if it would/could be possible for there to be some mods for the Sieger AR552, including semi-auto, suppressed and longer barreled variants that do more damage at range (similar to other auto rifles in the game)? I'd like for there to be a few more rifles in the game (and SMGs to be part of 47's permanent arsenal, but that's a different discussion). Could it be possible at some point to add those for offline play at some point?
