Hi everyone, I'm having a bit of trouble understanding how to make armor in Fallout 4. I've done it the previous fallouts and elder scrolls game, but the new crafting system inside the game is throwing me off a bit. I've been trying to find a tutorial to help, but haven't found any really helpful ones. I've also read that I need to incorporate the keyword mod, but I'm not exactly sure what that does. If anyone could provide a good tutorial link or an explanation, that'd be greatly appreaciated! Thanks!

How do I my player make my player completely silent?

Hello forums, I'm working on making some videos for skyrim, and I don't want my player to make the grunts and yells that they usually make. I've come across some mods that make the player quiet like http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/31506/, but apparently it mutes all the other NPCs combat noises too, and I don't really want that. There are a lot of mods that add voices to the Player, would it be possible to re record over those voice sets that come with the mod and make the player silent? In a bit of an unrelated note, is there an option to make custom NPCs completely quiet, I created a few to be characters in the project I'm working on and really just need them to be quiet actors that I'm going to animate a bit, but there isn't an option really in the CK to not give them a voice, like In fallout I think there was a NONE option on voice sets, anyway around this? Sorry for kind of squeezing two questions into one post, but any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers! -
I made custom races and in the geck the hand textures load up fine and look perfect, but when I get in game, the player doesn't have any hand textures and is missing them. They also load up fine on NPCs that are using the race, but just not on player. I've tried many different fixes, but nothing is working and it is getting frustrating. If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated! Also want to add, that it looks like the files are linked up correctly too in the geck, every texture path is linked. EDIT: http://imgur.com/a/ESiPt I've added an album link so that the problem can be seen. I have also made sure that the texture are linked to the model in nifskope.

Hi everybody, I'm having issues with the hand textures being missing from a custom race mod I'm working on. The problem is that the textures are there and are linked up and everything. It seems that this issue has been seen before, but not ever really solved. The weird part is that the issue only occurs when the actual playable character uses the race and it only occurs on the hands, all the other custom textures work. I've created NPCs that use the exact same races and custom textures, but they work fine on them, it just seems to be the PC that experiences the problem, I'm wondering if someone can help me out with this, it would be greatly appreciated! EDIT: Also want to add that I have tried toggling Archive Invalidation on and off

Kids from other races would be awesome to have. I would want to have a little argonian kid, but is it even possible to make this a mod? Would require some work to integrate with hearth fire but I would think the races would be easy enough to create considering all the custom races out there. I'm just throwing it out there as a suggestion.

I was looking into this earlier and it seems like egt files are leftover from the creation process of slyrim and don't exist anymore. I dont think they actually matter because every race in game uses the same egt file from imperials to chickens. I dont think that the egt file matters ,but leave it there dont take it out.

I feel like there may already be a post like this, but I cant find one so i decided to post. The window that the npc and their head appear in stays empty even when I check the preview boxes. there is an error that pops up but i cant get it to pop up again to tell you what it says. Im pretty sure it is a simple fix but I cant find any. if anyone can help I thank you.

fixed problem. Unique character or something like that did this, but only there after that it worked fine. -

If I rember correctly that's when you wake up in the forest with aela, so maybe the script is messed up by a mod -

Check your mods and see if any of them require a masterfile you don't have.

Right click the icon and you should see the option

Try running the ck as administrator when I first started that's a mistake I made.

I have the exact same problem. I've done some research and apperently sound mods might being doing this, but the new update is also a very big suspect.
