  1. Alright, many thanks for the replies, much appreciate it! Good stuff there, all of it. Kudos. Well, the most important bit of news for me here is the SKSE64 delay. That was important for me to hear actually, makes a big difference. Thanks for sharing! Now, I just knew that making this post could be wise! And so it was. Thanks again to everyone posting.
  2. Thanks a lot! Yea that was some help alright, kudos. For example the talk about the new mod manager. Well that mostly as a lot of the things were, as you might imagine, familiar to me before. The septim thing is also new to me though. I will have to check those out, thank you so much for your input! The main thing I am really wondering here is if I should even try to get my 'Rim properly set up before SKSE is out... In all likelyhood just going to have to do it all again when SKSE launches.
  3. As per the title. Please. I have recently returned to Skyrim in the form of the Special Edition after having played Oldrim for over 900 hrs back in the day. Got the limited collector's edition and all, so you know I'm a real fanboi, heh. Anyways, I would sorely appreciate good advice on how to do the tweaking properly. Somehow I managed to get Oldrim pretty stable and without noticeable glitches with 150 mods and .INI -tweaking. Well, now I got me some nice good old dark faces/heads, running on horseback after having tried to equip a torch, some small gliding in the air every now and then, and some other issues (like certain NPCs just standing in formation where they should have dialogue etc), invisible items that turn visible when you shift your view or grab them etc. You know, the good old good old. Much of those are from not doing this right I know (been doing this since Oblivion. With Morrowind it was still full vanilla), even if some are bugs that just are within the game. I kind of just wanted to start playing again, when I should have made this post. I know that as well. Am using LOOT and NMM at the moment. Which feel to be outdated and not really cutting it anymore. Back in the day I did load orders manually/with trying it out and got it working though, no LOOT then. And I honestly can't say if it (LOOT) is any good. Same goes for NMM now, it feels a bit like. So, what programs should I be using nowadays then? And what should I do, in general? Reinstall everything and do it properly? Ok, in what order and how do I make sure the mods I choose work the best as they can together? How should I proceed to get as stable as possible a game with as few glitches and bugs as possible? Or should I just go on playing my semi-broken game before the new SKSE is out? I can sort of manage it, the few really bad things I have managed to fix with using console commands. The graphical and physics glitches are making a sad panda out of me though, even though kind of minor they may be. And when the AI doesn't do what it should (dialogues etc), it's kinda bad as well. Would be fun to hear the dialogues even if in many places I remember what it was about (like Whiterun background chatter between Battle-Borns and Olfina Gray-Mane). I can still play quite ok though. Any short words or links to real good tutorials (I am not code savvy at all) that basically any PC gamer can understand with relative sanity? Please, all you wizzies in with the current knowhow, share your wisdom! P.S: Attaching my load order copypaste (trying to anyway) so you can have some idea what sort of mod layout I am wishing to use. It is my current, there aren't too many there I'd like to see go. Well, Pets Kingdom, it's kinda rubbish (sorry) but haven't deleted it yet. Gods. I hate doing this crap. Would rather just be playing. Well what else is new, right?
  4. So far in this thread the only person that is insulting, and causing tension and conflict is you. Quite right. But in his defense, he was acting in someone else's defense.
  5. I would love to see a short fur cloak just as the one found on this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4458/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrimspecialedition%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D4458%26preview%3D&pUp=1 (Barbarian Steel Armor), but for the backside. Can be the same exact (although color is too light with that one actually) cloak, but just equipped on the backside. Same body slot as all the other cloaks usually employ as well, cheers. If it wouldn't be too much extra trouble a couple of different color variations would be epic (black, brown, and white/grey base color). All in all short cloaks are really shining in absence! This would really be a truly needed addition to my gaming. I do like the cloaks, but all of them are so long. They block the view of some other stuff that I would actually like to see (and the longer the cloak the clunkier the animation). Depending on the character that could be an equippable tome, equippable lantern, some back muscles and a fancy scabbard, or possibly a nice female behind. You know, whatever but there sure is a need for shorter cloaks!  I would suppose this is really easy to make? Sadly I have absolutely zero experience with the CK so that is why I am hoping someone has a few extra minutes and wants to do this. I will be forever in your gratitude and naturally offer dark side cookies at every possible occasion! =)
  6. No, you need to realize it's a game and furthermore it's not well for anyone to be this serious about anything. No wonder we have wars when people are like this.
  7. I would wish for a small quest where in the end there would be as a reward a cache of weapons from the excellent Skyforge Weapons mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/5609/?). Preferably two or three weapons of each kind. Also if possible a similar number of shields from the equally spectacular Skyforge Shields mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4008/?) would be awesome. I am not a modder at all myself and I would like an opportunity to own and enchant said equipment without needing to join the companions (for console command -free characters), so that's why the request. The quest doesn't need to be complex at all, nor long/big. A note to be found somewhere, or a book read. Say, from some legendary blacksmith or a bandit lord's last words hinting at his legacy weapons resting place where possibly their ghost would guard the gear buried with them. This clue pointing to a coffin or a chest somewhere secluded. With some appropriately formidable opponent guarding it. That would suffice extremely nice. If necessary I can supply all needed in-game text and lore. This is my first mod request if memory serves so not sure what else I should say, if anything. Might have posted a request before but that had to be at least like five years ago. Anyways, thanks in advance in case anyone wants to make a quest as such or alternatively point me to the direction of an existing one! :)
  8. So, how about it? Anyone volunteering for the job? :) Shouldn't be too hard, remove NPC only tag from the armor and place it in a chest somewhere?
  9. Yea, definitely... It's a wonder there seems to be no mods for this yet :S
  10. I would love to see the armor of Tsun, gatekeeper of Sovngard, to be made wearable by players. I am mostly interested in light version (it looks "rather" light as well), have maxed out heavy armor and wars have been fought and won so I was thinking it could be time to don a lighter gear :) Stats should be equal to best armor in the game; like dragon armour. Hope it's possible to make this happen. It looks rather nice, with the (mostly) bare upper body. We need more armors that show the nice muscle textures the characters have. http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/7995/tsun.jpg
  11. Hey, just wanted to say, the mod to give a mod works now :) Kudos!
  12. No there ain't a single plastic surgeon. o_O But there's a mod by PsychoElf that lets you revamp your character at any point, check it out. I strongly disagree about needing to get perks at every level btw, the game is already too easy at Very Hard and at Hardcore in my honest opinion.
  13. Hey there mate, did you notice there is a section called mod requests? Maybe this could be more at home there? :)
