  1. Hi, I narrowed the issue down a bit more. It happens when I manually put a mod file into the staging folder. I did so because I wanted to get my mods over to my laptop, so I moved over all my files to the staging folder on my laptop and restarted Vortex. It recognized all the mods and let me install and enable them again but to the wrong folder. When I re-downloaded them it worked, so I re-downloaded them all.
  2. Somehow Vortex doploys my Starfield mods to the /Starfield main folder instead of the /Starfield/Data folder. And I have not found any way to configure that?
  3. The game already supports some nice moddable weapons that actually cry for some real life counterparts... Did anyone yet try to get a nice - I don't know - ACR or SCAR into the game to replace the (in my opinion) too bulky assault rifle? I think Fallout 3 has plenty of mods that contain tons of assets (given the author's permission of course) for all kinds of assault rifles with different attachments. I'd also like to see some nice laser weapons make it back into XCOM as a step between the conventional rifles and the magnetic ones, or a sleaker replacement for the magnetic rifle. Someone already requested the "Aliens" M41 Pulse Rifle. In my opinion the weapon research is a bit lacking in XCOM as you can reach plasma weapons pretty fast so some more variety and an expanded research tree would be the long term idea.
  4. I have some issues with XShape as well. I've downloaded the nationality selector mod and the no disappearing corpses mod. I apply them and run XShape (which comes up with no errors and 1 SHA Hash updated just fine), but the game crashes when I start it. The mods are working for other people so I'm a bit lost here. Things I've done so far: - started completely from scratch (i.e. let Steam redownload all corru.. err modified files) - decompressed XComGame.upk (and only XComGame.upk) and moved it to the CookedPCConsole folder - only applied the no decaying corpses mod (i.e. did NOT apply my DefaultGameCore.mod file, nor any other mod) - removed all upk files from the config file but XComGame.upk - ran XShape and got a nice success message - Game crashes immediately at startup Edit: Oh my, after two days of testing I found it out myself just after posting here. The issue was that I left the unpacked xcomgame.upk in the "unpacked" folder that was created by the decompress tool. The game loaded the unmodified .upk but with the exe modified for the modified .upk. That caused the crash. I should read the messages more carefully. I thought the popup was telling me that the XComGame.upk was now internally named xcomgame.upk (small letters), but it actually told me that there were two xcomgame.upk files. *facepalm*
  5. Did Firaxis update the .exe or the game itself? Modpatcher doesn't seem to work for me anymore. Everytime I patch the exe steam overwrites it again with a different version (slightly larger) even though I disabled the automatic update for XCOM.
  6. Hey Robin! I first thought TES Source is gone for good and the more I'm happy that you're back with a new site ;) I like the straight and clean design... I hate image-overloaded websites with animated gifs and grotesquely colored frames, buttons and boxes everywhere. Anyway... although I'm sure you're not done coding for quite some time yet I have a few things that might be improved: 1. When uploading images the success-dialog should automatically get you back to the screenshot overview which in addition should be updated with the just uploaded image. 2. Change/Add the image description once the image has been uploaded. 3. Kinda cosmetic: Having both menus on the right looks kinda weird, perhaps you should rethink that or make it customizable. 4. Also cosmetic: The mod text should be contained in a kind of box just like everything else. It looks kinda lost just floating around on the 'background'. Keep up the great work! -Adonnay
