Happens to me as well, and while it seems slightly more likely to occur after 1-2 hours of playing, it can happen anytime really. The mod that let's me quick save whenever I want has become absolutely crucial, but it's still extremely frustrating to crash this often. I find myself save-scumming like crazy, which is the opposite of what survival mode was supposed to be like. While this is the most common crash I experience, update 1.5 has made the game much more unstable in general and I get other random crashes as well. Before update 1.5 I had played well over 300 hours and only had 2 crashes, so they have definitely messed up with this recent update. Unfortunately Bethseda doesn't seem to acknowledge this yet, so I have no idea when we can expect a fix.

This looks really amazing! I was already seriously considering the Season Pass, but now I know for sure I will buy it! The future definitely looks promising for Fallout 4 with the upcoming DLCs, the new survival mode and of course the mods!

Yes, that's how it worked in NV. Having slower healing as an option regardless of difficulty is a good idea - I'm currently playing on survival and really enjoy the slower healing, but some enemies are just so overpowered it's ridiculous!

I'm very excited about this! Hardcore mode in New Vegas was simple, but it still added so much to the game for me and I'm sure this new survival mode will be at least as good! Hopefully it will be a free update and not tied to the upcoming DLC. I also think it would be a good idea to have it separated from the various difficulty settings - a lot of people like the idea of having to eat, drink sleep etc, but don't want to deal with bullet sponges and being killed in 1 hit.
