This the part where I tell you that I have a mobile phone just to make/receive calls. Why don't I get a "dumb phone" you say? Because unfortunately, even my ID is now digital, and only a "smart phone" can show it. I don't use my phone for anything other than that. Yeah, and the "coverage" says: "Sucks to be you. You're SOL." Provide a secondary CSS that we can use without giving us/exacerbating HEALTH ISSUES. YOU should be doing this, not 3rd parties through Stylus.

Copy-paste of what I've said already half a dozen times: High-Res or High-Viz, whichever you want to call it, BLINDS ME! I'm photosensitive and all the bright white on a black background makes it so that after about 5 minutes, max, I have my field of vision covered in ghost black letters. It's like looking at the sun and getting blots on your eyes. Who was the moron (sorry, it has no other name) that thought this would suit everyone? Who forgot that there is more than one type of visual impairment out there? Give us an option to apply the old colors (and don't tell me it's impossible, I know it's a lie). We shouldn't be having to resort to mess around with CSS in order to be able to surf the site.

I'm photosensitive. The changes made for "accessibility" actually blind me, because after 5 minutes, I have ghost black letters all over my eyes. How is that improving accessibility? High-Res colors are my bane.

I can read the site again! THANK YOU! What is the part that the "designer" doesn't get that there people like me, who are IMPAIRED BY the high-contrast colors? I simply can't read/browse the site in the current colors. There is more than 1 kind of visual impairment!

The removal of the blur effect has improved my experience with the site quite a bit (I have severe issues with blur, it's one of the main reasons I get headaches/migraines. I disable it everywhere, even if I have to resort to Reshade. What's the fad with mimicking people like me, who are short sighted? Who likes to look at BLUR?! And the LAG was horrible). However, I still have other issues. The "New" button is like a light bulb that goes straight into the back of my retinas and leaves a blob there, as if I looked at the sun (I'm photosensitive, so...) The color scheme is atrocious for me for the reason I mentioned above. After a while, I have a bunch of "ghost letters" floating in my eyes. I need at least an option to change the color scheme to something that isn't "black and white". Also, get rid of that massive "collections" bar, or give us an option to hide it. I've been modding games since the times of the original NWN, I don't need collections, nor do I care about them. Finally, get rid of the waste of space. The tiles are too big and have too little information. The previous tiles were much better.

Interesting fact: This can really happen due to a medical condition. So... yeah, it's pretty good to define what I think of the UI. As it is, I can't browse the site without getting headaches. Nexus is dead for me until this changes.

The "copy-paste from mod.io UI" is a LAGGY, BLURRY MESS when scrolling, it has barely any information, it's HARD TO READ, it's HORRENDOUS, it's an absolute nightmare. This isn't a "new" UI, it's just a template that was ported over, slapped some new colors and called it a day. How does a "New UI" have more limits than an "old UI", unless YOU MESS UP? Do you even have any clue about what WE want to see, HOW we want to see it, or did you just go with your personal preference? I think it's the second... no... I'm absolutely sure it's the second. This UI is:

No, it does NOT make sense. New mods are NOT updated mods. Get rid of that nonsense. Actually, get rid of the entire UI.

Why is the Nexus turning into mod.io? Mod.io layout is horrible and lags even more horribly... which is now happening here too. The slideshow that I'm buffeted with when browsing is NOT welcome. The "re-design" that is simply a copy-paste UI from mod.io is NOT welcome. Then again, when did you guys ever listen to us? I believe the feedback for this mess is "incredibly positive" as much as I believe the feedback to the changes to mod ownership was "incredibly positive". Give me a toggle to keep the old UI, because the new one is... well, I can't post what I really think of the new UI without offending someone horribly, so here's an emoji to partly express my feelings.

This week, I got a pishing email supposedly from the Nexus, and got someone in the US trying to access my account. I don't see any options to report these incidents. It would be nice to have somewhere to report when hacking/pishing attempts are made, instead of having to "wait" until our accounts are actually hacked.

Right now even if we block someone, they only get blocked on the forum. There's absolutely no way to block people on the mod pages unless they are an author. This isn't the first time a block function is being requested (there were others before me), and it won't be the last. Users should be able to block other users on the mod pages.

Do what I did and just block it with UBlock Origin. No more banner.

It's now blocked as spam. "Click it away", you say... only for the banner to return like a bad smell on the next time I open the site. Thanks, no thanks. Feel free to close the thread.

We did noise when we could, and it changed basically nothing. This is, by now, just beating a dead horse, has been discussed to death and back 3 times and nothing will change. Time to accept this and move on.
