  1. Hey there. I've got myself set up with some various mods that I've liked and got my skyrim game playing how I enjoy it. The problem is I keep ending up with random CTD's whenever I do something. It almost seems random and it'll end up causing me to have to abandon my game. I've already restarted playing a certain character 4 times between level 25, and 9, and the CTD's happened either when I have a Hearthfire house, or just clear out a random cave I was exploring. I've already ran BOSS/LOOT, sorted through them all, used Wrye Bash, and even cleaned with TES5E so that there's no dirty mods, and its showing that there's no conflict between anything. So it's really got me stymied. Here's what I got. I hope I can get some help on this: System: AMD FX-4100 Quad Processor 3.60GHz AMD Radeon-HD 7700 Series Graphics Card 8gm Ram Mods (according to the masters on Wrye Bash)
  2. I'm not sure on the possibility of doing it the way you described. However I do know that in Oblivion there were a few mods out there with weapons that could be equipped 1 handed or 2 handed style, and the ability to switch them out was a custom spell that swapped styles. Could that be a possibility also?
  3. Dear god. I bow before you Favored Soul. This gives me some idea's.
  4. As an uber nerd of Berserk, I'm so looking forward to this.
  5. Either way, I can see them possibly releasing a lot of this stuff as either small free upgrades, or as DLC content. I'd be willing to spend $5 on a customized house and adoption, provided they give plenty of options. Things such as spear combat and seasonal changes I can see being free, since one is something fans have been asking for, and another is just awesome enough that they should treat their fans.
  6. @ William : Ohhh I know =P. Im kinda wanting to keep an overall list of bad guys the vigilants are dealing with. I think you'll rather like the over arching story I got working. @ BolasNicol : A group of swedes wanting to do some voice work for this? Sounds perfect! Especially since your accents will fit right in, and sound a bit more natural than faking it =P. Send me some voice samples if you've got any, and I just might have some roles opened up.
  7. Hey everyone! Letting everyone know I'm not dead by responding to this. Sorry for not keeping on with this forum thread. Been mostly writing on the forum I set up for it. Stupid me should know that there are people who'd post here too. So anyways, let me get to some responses! @ asaf10888 : Not a bad idea! I was actually thinking of having something to do with Demons, and your suggestion actually gave me an interesting idea. Imagine! Fighting side by side with your Vigilant Brothers in a long, dark cave system where a Big Bad Evil Guy (BBEG for short) is using magic and dwemer technology to open a rift that allows Dremora to start pouring in through Oblivion, and you and your band of brothers have to hold off an invasion! Is an idea at least. @ NanoCrudele : I'm not going to say much, because I have a feeling your reading my mind already ;) @ Huanes : Hopefully once we start getting it together and out there you'll support it in playing too =P @ scottmack : Yep! I was a little dissapointed at the lack of good guy options in vanilla Skyrim, especially since there were so many options to play an evil character and be rewarded. It seemed if you went good alignment, you not only limited yourself to a few good Deadric artifacts, but really only were able to do 2 factions (Mages and Companions). @ Zuser : Ohhh it's happening ;) @ Everyone else: While I'm optimistic that this will be getting on track, since I've been putting together the basic frame work of it (mostly interiors and NPC's before moving on the meaty parts) and been getting some good help, I do got a bit of bad news; Got a bit of a setback. Some knob broke into my student apartment while I was out with friends and stole some things, including my gaming PC that I spend most of my time working on and gaming on (including Skyrim). Without it, I'm reduced to my school laptop, and it can barely play Oblivion, much less Skyrim. So I'm waiting a few days to see if it's possible to recover it, and if not, probably gonna order a new one which could take about a week. Luckily I always make backups just incase. Good news is I at least to get to do some more writing.
  8. Sounds interesting. What sort of perks and bonuses would be applied to leveling an item though? Increased damage, lower weight, that sort of thing?
  9. Personally I'd have to go Balgruuf. During the main quest he seemed kind of like a bro.
  10. I never did identify with Nords in Morrowwind or Oblivion. They always seemed like the stock "loud and boisterous" race to me. But for some reason I made a Nord in Skyrim, and I identified with them and played Nord the majority of my time so far.
  11. Darthsloth74: Perfect then =D. That's just the way I like it lol, looking good without a great deal of effort
  12. @ Modder3434: Hopefully soon  Wanted most of the major characters written by now, and most of the dialogue written by now, but the holiday season made me a lot busier than I anticipated @_@ @ tazmo: Butts are literally being worked off (as much as can be done anyways) as much as possible without the CK. Most of the story is coming along nicely =) @ Jckbckfrd2: Voice acting is certainly a possibility! Wanting to try to get as many varied voices as possible for the characters since there's gonna be kind of a bit of em. @ JakeMiller1993: Is why I wanted something like this to get made lol. One of my favorite characters in Oblivion I made was a Crusader character who wore the Divine Crusaders armor and tried to be a hero to the people. Wish there was an option like that in Skyrim, but sadly no. Is hard being good when so many good rewards come from being bad =(. I did think about having some form of "Divine Crusader" armor in the mod. Maybe as a cheap knockoff or even able to make your own. An idea I was floating around :whistling: @ William: Hadn't thought of spells :O but that's a neat idea all the same! @ Scorch621: Can always use some help with concept art =). Especially since I can find about half a million Paladin armor idea's for creating extra armors and weapons. The only bad thing though is that most of it is heavy plate mail, and I can't find any idea's for light armor without it being skimpy and heavy on cleavage. Good idea on the religious zealot idea too. been wanting to hint at that a bit more as I write. That actually gives me a really good idea too
  13. Ehhhh. To each their own. If the OP doesn't like it, despite admitting to not playing it, then that's OP's problem. I enjoy it for my reasons, and hearing his reasons isn't going to cause some sort of epiphany to his way of thinking.
  14. I see this question asked at least once a week =P. Trust me, once the CK comes out, there will definitively be something like that made.
  15. I dunno. Could be cool, and lord knows I haven't joined enough groups on Deviant Art.
