That is so wild! As I was reading your description, as I said, it totally reminded me of HL. I haven't played it for a long time. Never got all the way through. I think Diablo came into my life at that time. I spent a good 5-6 yrs. moving thru that series, until I stumbled upon Morrowind. I'd still be playing that, but I got a new PC and it was Oblivion- here I come, lol! That was a year ago....
