Where's morrowind.exe installed and where's mwse.dll installed? If there're in Program Files (default for Steam library) that could be the cause, I think you can move Steam games to other directories these days.What version of MWSE? Do you know that MGE XE has an embedded version of MWSE you can use? Where should I move the Game then? and i have the newest version

Try typing in the console placeatpc "Barilzar" 1,20,1. If that dosnt work try finding out what his ID is, and type that in in place of his name inside the quotes. You can probobly find his ID on the internet. Then you will get a diologue box, and he will try and kill you. Then you take the ring and keep going. The reason why just cheating the ring in didnt work is because the journal entry (which is what progresses you in the quest) is added upon you killing him, not obtaining the ring. Hope this helped

I try to run MWSE but i keep getting an error message when I hit "Launch Morrorwind" it says Could not start morrowind:Could not create proccess: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect. I have it installed in my morrowind directory and im using the steam version. Anyone know what to do?
