  1. Hey everyone, Any chance someone can make a mod to keep Karlach with the red glow during her romance? Im just so used to seeing her with the red glow and her red eyes that it just feels off during the romance scenes when it swaps to a blue glow and blue eyes. So if anyone can make a mod to keep her with the red glow and red eyes for those scenes I would much appreciate it.
  2. Hi all, I dont overly like the quest menu of the default game. For me its a bit messy & unorganised. So is their a mod that can improve or clean it up? Basically id like a mod that puts the quests in to category's for example Mian Quests, Side Quests, Companions Quests ect Their is a mod for the original Skyrim here but i cant find anything similar for the SE version of Skyrim so was wondering if anyone knows of one?
  3. I have checked all of this. I moved everything to a new location on a new drive but it made no difference still acts the same way. even tried running it as admin and it also made no difference. I have also redownloaded skse 3 times to make sure the download was not bad, and i have installed it correctly i have used the old one many times on the original skyrim. Even the first alpha for skse64 worked as expected it has only been an issue since 2.0.4. I dont think its a mod breaking it either, if i start skyrim from steam it loads up and plays as expected with all mods working, except skse and any mods that require it. But to be on the safe side i even did a clean install and had no mods on and just installed skse but still the same issue.
  4. moving everything to the same hard drive made no difference.
  5. ah ok i will try moving steam. Normally i let steam install at its default location, then in steam i setup its game library to the folder on one of my other drives.
  6. My steam client is installed to C:\Program Files (x86) but my actual games install to F:\Games\Steam. I have also tried redownloading and installing SKSE64, I even reinstalled Skyrim SE. I know its still in alpha so bugs should be expected but it worked on the previous version perfectly but after 2.0.4 it just will not load. Most of the time it crashes off with this error Steam Error: Aplication load error 3:0000065432
  7. anyone else having any issues? the previous version of SKSE64 worked ok, but the 2.0.4 version is the one giving me this error. I have also tried doing a clean install of the game, made no difference.
  8. yes i have steam open before i try to start the SKSE64 loader.
  9. Hi all, I have installed SKSE64 and have crated a shortcut to it. I seem to get a mix of results when trying to start it. 1st - nothing happens i click on it and just nothing at all 2nd - takes about 5 minutes and a small window pops up, wait 10 minutes and i get a launch error 3rd - takes about 5 minutes and a small window pops up, wait 10 minutes and the name on the pop up changes to select skyrim (then it stays like that forever) 4th - takes about 10 minutes then the game starts and plays as expected, all mods working, skse64 says its the right version ect why is it so random, is their any know fixes for any of these issues?
  10. Hi all, So i was wondering what are the chance of the mods i already have on the original game working on this new special edition? My main though would be they would cause issue and have a performance impact as the mods were built for a 32bit version of the game while the new special edition is 64bit. would this not cause issues? the 32bit mods would still only be able to use no more than 4GB of ram while the game can now use more. Assuming the mods would be compatible i have another question. I have around 40 mods, most of them are tweaks to the way the game works or adds new content in. However some of the mods are for weather, lighting, textures and adding more flora. would these work, and would they be worth it if they do? My lighting mod is also used along side an ENB. but the special edition has new lighting and shading, as well as a depth of field. So would using my mods actually make much of a difference here? Not sure if this is true but im sure i read that the weather has also been recreated, so would this leave any weather mods broken? As for texture mods i have use the Skyrim 2K texture pack and i play in 4K. would i still need this texture pack as the special edition has higher resolution textures. And final i use a flora mod that adds in more trees, grass, plants ect. from what i have seen of some videos looks like this special edition version has added some minor detail with extra flora not much but some. would this cause issues if trying to use a mod that affects the original flora? Im not sure if these questions can be answered yet or if the answers would be just guess work, but im interested to see what people think.
  11. Hi all, Recently I have upgraded some parts of my computer and im currently looking to replay through Skyrim. Except this time around I want to help the game feel fresh and look more alive than ever. So im hoping that you all can suggest the best mods. These are the kind of things im looking for. 1. Graphic improvements. So better textures, new props, city & town enhancements, landscape improvements, enbs, reshaders and lighting mods. 2. Bug fixes and gameplay improvements. So basically any mods that will make combat better and fix any bugs and new gameplay mechanics. 3. Misc mods. Something to add more life. So new building/towns/city’s, better weather, new animations, new sounds etc. If possible I’d like to make the game look and feel more fantasy then photo realistic. My computer is rather beefy so it should handle lots of mods. I have 2 GTX 980 TIs, i7, 16GB ram. Thanks in advance.
  12. never mind i have fixed it. The ID i was using was for the pipboy in fallout 3. So i tried to find the id for it in the game by using the command help pipboy but that returned no results. but i released i was using the command wrong i need to type help pipboy 4. doing that gave me the correct ID. So i added 1 in to my inventory. the next problem was i was unable to view my inventory to equip it. but using player.equipitem <ID> that equipped it for me, and my problem was solved. Better remember that incase it happens again.
  13. Hi all, while messing around in the console and designing a new character, I used the removeallitems command on my self. After i had finished altering my character i saved the game. Now i have discovered i have lost my pipboy. When i press the tab key to use the pipboy i can hear the sound affects but it just shows my wrist. I cant reload an older save because like a idiot i deleted my other save file with my old character appearance. I have tried to give my self back the pipboy by using the command player.additem 00015038 1 but the game just tells me compiled script not saved! have i got the correct base ID for it? Please can anyone help me get the pipboy back! Thanks Joe.
  14. Thanks for that list of mods, i will go and check them out and see how they all look
  15. Hi all, So not too long ago i finally got my self a new gaming system. One of the first things i am wanting to do is to mod Skyrim to make it look as beautiful as possible. So for that im after some help, tips and advice. So before we get started let me tell you what my system spec is; CPU: i7 5820K 3.30Ghz (15M Cache, 6 cores, 12 Threads, and with Max Turbo upto 3.60Ghz)GPU: GeForce GTX 970 4GB (2 of them in SLI, PCI-E 3.0, core 1178Mhz, Boost 1329Mhz)RAM: Corsair 16GB Vengeance DDR4 (2800MHz, DIMM 240pin)Motherboard: Gigabyte X99-Gaming 5HDD: 1TB (2 of these, 7200RPM SATA 6Gbs 64MB, for OS and some games)SDD: 256GB (for skyrim, 6Gbz, 600Mbs Transpher, Buffer 512MB)PSU: Corsair 850WCPU Cooler: Corsair H80i HydroCase: CoolerMaster Silencio RC-550OS: Win 8.1 Pro 64bitMonitor: Samsung 4K UHD 28 Inch LED So as you can see i have a 4K monitor and i intend to play Skyrim in 4k (3840x2160). I have modded Skyrim before on my old system but that was just adding mods that where a little silly and added things in to the game rather then altering the graphics. I had loads of mods running early 100+ this made the game unstable and i kept getting random crashes. Now i would like to strip the mods down to the basics. I want to use as thew mods as possible and only mods that enhance the graphics. So can anyone suggest me any good mods that improve textures? lighting? weather? enb? I would also like some mods to make my character/npcs look nice for example better hair, skin, eye textures. So far the only mods i know i am going to use for certain are SKSE, SkyUI, RaceMenu and the Unoffical Patches. So can anyone suggest a good collection of mods with an enb that will make skyrim look as nice as possible, i would like a good fantasy feel from the games atmosphere. I would also like to aim to keep my fps above 25 at a minimum. I will appreciate any help and advice you can give me. This will be the first time i am attempting to make the game look really nice, the last time i modded just made the game so unstable and really broke the games lore.
