Okay, I've now completed the body variations: http://abload.de/thumb/screenshot1023eu97.jpg When I was creating the final .esp I've run into a problem: The helmets do not work correctly on orcs, argonians or khajits and instead of the helmets I created just some other helmet shows up :ermm: . When equipping the mask on this races all helmets (and the hair) just disappear. Since I have absolutely no idea why this is happening (the ArmorAddons for these parts are done the same way as for let's say the cuirass) I will do a beta release for now and I recommend not to use the mask nor any helmet if you're playing an orc, khajit or argonian until this issue is resolved. I'll now finish the .esp and will upload the mod today or tomorrow to SkyrimNexus and the SteamWorkshop.

  5. The armor is almost finished. Today I completed the ground models (screenshot will follow tomorrow) and I'm currently working on the different weight and gender versions. If no spontaneous catastrophe happens, I will be able to release it in the next few days ;).

  7. NO. Just no. I don't have time. I've been very busy with exam preparation and our new project and didn't have much time to work on this here.

  9. The last two weeks I wasn't really able to work much because I was preparing for an important exam. I did some changes to the normals maps (mostly folds on cloth and chainmail) which I will be able to show soon as well.

There aren't properly rigged yet, will take some time.
  13. That strongly varies. On some days I hardly get to do anything, on others I work 8 hours at a stretch. Though only for a few days per week. My work is terrific. Hehe, that one I like :P.

  15. Still no idea. There's a lot to do and few time to do it. I need get back to the sizes of the helmets anyway, I'll try to remember to keep this in mind but won't promise anything. No they won't be any gauntles as well as no boots. Haven't you read the books? For the Gondorian never wore anything like this, there are famous for running around completely barefoot on their hairy feet, be it in their living holes or the mountains of Mordor. If I think about it, might be I'm mixing some things up right now.
  16. No, as I have done it exclusively for a yet unannounced german Skyrim TC. It's up to them to decide whether they want to release it as an armor mod or only as part of their TC.

  19. It's probably because someone else made these armors after our C&D and fewer people search the forums than Skyrim Nexus itself (especially after they've found what they searched for). Patience. I don't want to rush this here and have barely much free time mostly due to university stuff. But I'll try to concentrate on this here as much as possible.

Disclaimer: Neither does the existence of this thread, nor my choice to eventually release this armors represent in any way possible a decision by the MERP team to continue their work in violation of the C&D. Any commercial use of the assets as of their release will be strictly prohibited and furthermore I explicitly enjoin the MERP team from using this assets in the event they continue their work unless the C&D is lifted. In addition I want to point out that beside from me no one at the MERP team had their assistance in creating these assets, nor does anyone from the team have access to the current version of the files. All assets were created by myself and if stock images etc. were used, their usage was explicitly permitted for both commercial and non-commercial use. I do not claim any authorship of the underlying designs and these belong to their respective owners. Because of the nature of this mod neither is it able, nor do I plan to add any content that should make it able to compete with an already existing or planned game utilizing the LOTR license. Because I'm unable to do this now within a TC, I decided to release this armor as a standalone mod. Status: Most models and textures were revamped approx. one year ago in preparation for Skyrim, but I never got to adapt them to the Skyrim skeleton. This needs to be done. Aside from that most of the needed work (90-95%) is finished and mostly only a few enhancements need to be added. Probably one or two meshes need to be exchanged wholly. Please note that this thread is not for discussing MERP or anything else related to it. Stay tuned and kind regards, BGS
