  1. I came across the same issue a few days ago. I checked and sure enough Legate Quentin Cipius seems to be the problem. In my case he was disabled and lost somewhere between Whiterun and Rorikstead. This is usually where the Whiterun Imperial camp spawns. Since I play with only a handful mods and all mods that affect the civil war questline were disabled prior to starting the quest, this might very well be a bug that's not caused by mods. My guess is that after the quest "Message to Whiterun" the game fails to properly move Cipius to Whiterun and just disables him when the imperial camp is removed. As for a fix, the problem seems to be that if Cipius isn't present at the siege, the quest will get stuck at "lower the drawbridge" and never advances to "force Jarl Balgruuf to surrender". So enabling him and forcing him to Whiterun seems to solve the problem. Using the console "prid BF560" "enable" and "prid BF560" "moveto player" you can enable cipius and move him to your location. As long as you have already started your assault on Whiterun, this will allow the quest to advance. Who thank you dude for this info, this was driving me crazy. If I may improve the solution, entering the following: prid BF560 Enable moveto 1A677 will move Cipius directly to Balgruuf

  4. I disagree with you. Witcher 3 alway run on my D: partition and everything was fine. (C & D are two partiotion of my SSD, E is an HDD). Everthing was copied properly. However I reinstall wortex to its last update this morning and everything is back to normal. Tank you
  5. Hi guys, ok I don't know if the problem is specific to the witcher 3, but everything is fine with the other games. Vortex can't deployed the mods anymore. It says that the vortex folder mod should be on the same drive as the game and suggests me E:/. However the game is on D:/ . When I tried to change to E:, same problem but it suggests me D:/ !!! I recently change my E:/ HDD for a new one. Everything is fine fine for the other game (mainly Skyrim SE) but for TW3 I get this strange loop deployement error. I run windows 7 integrl edition 64 Any Ideas? Thanks in advance
  6. Hi Guys, I installed SKSE64 using vortex, but the mod don't show up in the mod list. Therefore it is impossible for me to set it up to the correct parameters. Any idea fo what's wrong? I 've tried to reinstaled it many times, Vortex tells me that it has been arleady installed, but still the same problem, the mode is hidden from the list. THX

  8. Hi Gran, Yes I monitored VRAM as well and I still have 1 Gb free, I think we can exclude the VRAM issue. The witcher 2 Special edition was running pretty well with nearly all settings on Ultra. I should launch the Witcher 3 to see what happens (its next on my playing list :thumbsup: ).
  9. Hi guys, I have 6Gb of RAM and I know that the minimum RAM for Skyrim is 8Gb. However when I play the game, the game or windows limits the use of RAM to 2Gb despite I still have more than 2 Gb free of use on my computer. As a consequence I experience stuterring due to loading elements. :( I checked that the game is actually able to run more than 2 Gb by using the CFF explorer software. Increasing the virtual memory to the maximum recommended helped a bit (gain 200 Mb). Anyone experiencing the same? Any trick or solution is welcome. THX in advance My Config Core 2-duo E6400 overclock @ 4GHz (I know it s old but not running @ 100% so far) 6 Gb of ram GTX 970 with 4 Gb of VRAM SSD Windows 7 64 bits CPU & GPU are not running to 100% so I still have a lot of margin on this side ;) (monitored with Skyrim Performance Monitor 64)
