  1. Hey, I had this issue myself. The problem is Skyre and to be more precise its the Combat module (SkyRe_Combat.esp). I tested it a lot (with new savegames) and after deactivating the SkyRe_Combat.esp the Papyrus errors and the CTDs were gone. Steve40 posted updated versions of that (and a few other) Skyre script here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1091919-unofficial-skyre-script-fixes/ Hope this helps. Cheers
  2. I also have some problems with animal followers, but it might be because of their quests in my case. Here is very good tutorial on how to make animal companions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hGszaPLobhg If you follow every step, your companion should probably work correctly. Cheers
  3. @ prod80 Really? Haven't read of many problems caused by it, what trouble do you mean? Also, should I pass on Wet & Cold and Enhanced Blood? In earlier versions I heard of a lot of problems and they seem very script heavy. Cheers
  4. Thanks for your answers! My system specs are at the moment: Windows 7 64bit i7 2600k Quad core @ 4.00GHz - 4.50GHz (as I need it) GTX 580 3GB VRAM (slightly overclocked) 16GB DDR3 RAM @ 1833MHz I didn't include my specs because I can't imagine they could be the culprit, the real problem is the Skyrim engine I guess. So did anyone play with those amount of script mods a long time without problems? Any way I can test the stability? I'm afraid that I find out the problems/instability when I've played for 30 hours or more :/ Cheers
  5. Hello everyone, I'm about to start a new game, but I'm afraid that I might start it with too many script intensive mods and that I'll regret it later on when it's too late. With "too many script intensive mods" I mean stuff like Frostfall, Skyre, Realistic Needs and Diseases, Wet and Cold, Enhanced Blood, Climates of Tamriel, Moonlight Tales, Better Vampires, a couple of follower mods and several minor ones. I already passed on Skybirds and Footprints. So, what is the current state of affairs? Is Skyrim able to handle that amount of scripts? Is there any way to test if it is stable at the moment (I used the latency test of Convenient Horses, but I'm not sure if that is meaningful)? I'm not really worried about conflicts, as far is I know they are all compatible, I just don't want my game to crash every 5 minutes when I'm 30 hours in. I guess I could pass on Wet and Cold and Enhanced Blood, too, if I have to, but I wouldn't be too happy about it  Cheers and thanks for every answer!
  6. Yep, I saw that problem over the internet, too. The interesting thing is, I just tried a new game with no mods at all, played until "Dragon Rising" and no random dragons again. I also restored my default .ini. My only "workaround" at the moment is using Deadly Dragon Assault (works like random dragon spawns), but if anyone knows how to solve this I would appreciate it ;)
  7. Hello everyone, I started a new game with a lot of mods (152 .esps, modlist is in the spoiler) and I played around ~30 hours now. Everything runs fine (with an occasional CTD or freeze) except one problem: There are no random dragon attacks. I'm not sure what causes this, especially when all the other stuff is fine (like Dawnguard vampire attacks and unique Dragons). I have Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn installed and also finished the Quest "Dragon Rising". But it almost has to be a mod or a mod conflict, I tested every suggestion from my other thread here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/971246-no-random-dragon-attacks-any-help/ (sorry for opening another topic, but I didn't know how to move it to the technical support). Does anyone have an idea what mods/mod conflicts could cause this or how I can find the cause myself? Deactivating mods to test it isn't that easy because it doesn't change anything in an old savegame and I always have to play until I finish "Dragon Rising". I read every desription/readme and the mods should be compatible, but some of them have dirty edits. Should I just clean them? Modlist:
  8. I normally don't, but I read somewhere that there spawn more if you do. I tried to fast travel to Riverwood, Falkreath and so on a lot but not one dragon. Could the "getglobalvalue winextdragon 50.63" be the problem? If not, I guess I have to ask in the technical support about the mods. Edit: Started a new character and played until I finished "Dragons Rising". I did the same in Soljunds Sinkhole and nothing happened. Also, "getglobalvalue winextdragon" is "3.89" on the new character, which I assume is normal. I'll try my luck in the technical section, but thanks to everyone for trying ;)
  9. Aigain, thanks for replying. The quest "A blade in the dark" isn't active, I finished it, but there were also no dragon spawns before I did the quest. When I type "getglobalvalue dragonsreturned" I get "1" and when I type "getglobalvalue winextdragon" I get "50.63". Not sure what the second one means. I tried waiting in Soljunds Sinkhole with my old save and nothing happened. As for a new save - do I have to finish "Dragons Rising"? I tried skipping all the quests and finish it with the console, but that gives me weird glitches everywhere :D
  10. Thanks for your answer! When I type "getglobalvalue timescale" I get "20" and when I type "getglobalvalue wiwaitdragon" I get "3". I guess these are the default settings, right? Any other ideas? The cause is a probably a mod or conflicting mods, but it is really hard to find out which because I have to play the game until "Dragon Rising" to test if it worked, in my old savegame deactivating mods doesn't change the dragon problem.

  12. Hello my fellow mod users, I'm about to start my new game, but after checking my mods with TES5Edit all the mods that change NPCs (like the ones of FalmerBane, http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33775) 13. Thanks for the reply! I would use the replacer for Skyrim Monster Mod (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16411) anyhow, so these kind of monsters wouldn't be a problem  I guess both of the mods are pretty equal, any difference in quality/compatiblity? Edit: Didn't see your post ArtMurder. Sounds like Immersive Creatures is the way to go for me, but other oppinions are welcome ;) Thanks!
  14. Hello my fellow mod users, I'm starting a new game and I am not really sure which of the two mods mentioned in the title I should use (with their replacers to be lore friendly). Any oppinions? Don't necessarily want to use both because there would probably just be too many creatures. Also, I'm using a lot of other mods, like Skyrim Redone, SkyTEST and Deadly Dragons, which one is better in the way of compatiblity? Cheers
