Yeah Hi just a heads up for people who experience a crash on the Skyrim Load Menu before you can even get into a game or load anything, after the recent update from Bethesda. For me it was this mod and Combat Music Fix NG doing it. It may be differant for others I dunno but there's a start point for you to try something if you are experiencing that persistant crash even after updating everything else DLL wise. Cheers hope it helps atleast one person. Still have no idea how to fix SKY UI though sorry.

Hi Guys just wondering if anyone has a fix for this old bug that still plagues me and others everytime I play Skyrim and try to do the Civil War...*Rikke refusing to advance the Quest after Compelling Tribute is done.* I've tried everything bug fix wise on the UESP site, nothing worked I've tried disabling mods also but its a well known vanilla bug so I don't think its mod related. Basicially its a failure of the Reporting for duty Dialogue topic to appear in her list even after reload and waiting and everything else I've tried....The one thing I haven't tried is to directly summon the Dialogue with the Console *say* command as I can't find the code or ID for the *Reporting for Duty* line anywhere...Is there a mod I am unaware of that fixes this?...If not can someone perhaps look at making it, its very much needed still it seems after all these years. Thanks for your time and for making Skyrim actually playable out of the vanilla wreckage....to all modders everywhere.

Yeah Hi started getting an error message which I can't copy paste as it locks up my computer when it pops up until i press ok, it happens everytime I try to deploy or to activate a differant game I tried downloading and reinstalling no joy. It just claims its an I/O error can't access the disk but everything else is accessing the disk just fine. I was going to try to run Vortex in admin mode but it warned against it so I didn't, any ideas? Thanks in advance.,,,For the record this is literally the first problem I've had with Vortex its been completely solid otherwise. I'm still on windows 8.1 Have about 500 mods in total on Vortex for Oblivion and Fallout 4 I'm on the latest version of Vortex as far as I know I have the runtime installed etc. It's doing it at the point in the Deploy where its checking for *External Changes*...So i'm guessing its a permission issue or something but no idea really. It started when I accidentily tried to import a non nexus mod to Vortex via the *InstallFromFile* button which has worked fine the thousands of times I've done it before, unfortunately I didn't realize that Vortex was still deploying in the background as the message disappeared and it seems to take so long for FO4 with all the mods I have to finish deployment, so i thought it had finished when it hadn't....I REALLY hope I don't have to reinstall EVERYTHING now lol, thats going to be a very long day or week, yikers, my own fault tbh. Just wondered if theres a tool I didn't know about to refresh Vortex or something Cheers any help is appreciated. Update: Seems my PC is having trouble with other things as well now, I think it may all be Windows related, Windows 8.1 is imminently about to be unsupported by MS so I'm guessing it may be something to do with their updates or lack there of.

Just wondering if anyone knows of a mod that lets you tell some of the darker more disturbing Daedra to go boil their privates....instead of how it currently is for example, playing a righteous paladin who has to use his psychic power to avoid even talking to certain NPC's or i'll get landed with really nasty quests! The Molag Bal quest for example, I'm merrily exploring Markarth and see the Vigilant of Stendarr needs help so.....being a nice guy i help.....HUGE MISTAKE, have to reload etc etc. I always wanted to say something cool to Molag Bal like ...I am the Instrument of Akatosh and the Bane of Alduin you have no pwer over me Daedra!! Then destroy his altar...now that Bethesda would be cool, you guys need to work on the alternative outcomes for quests. Anyways rant over....if anyone knows a mod that lets you do this or similar i'd appreciate the location, i can't find one sadly! Thanks all....keep up the great work of making Bethesda's games actually playable!

i had a similar problem on my last play through, couldn't go 20 mins without a crash only thing that fixed it for me was start a new game. But i have alot of mods installed/uninstalled and alot of those were installed DURING that playthrough which didn't help. i had the same problem, but shortly after installing 7k better whiterun...how do i know? I only installed that in the last hour and before he wasn't there. I'm about to ditch 7k better whiterun now as it looks like one of those over ambitious change too much mods that break everything...now i look back at it. cheers for all the info

Yeah Hi, i've had the freeze crash and c++ error crash on and off for days now i guess its all the mods i've installed, believe me i've tried everything to fix it, BOSS, Wyre Bash, everything. Some days its running solid others its crashing every 30-40 mins my PC is old and its probably a memory issue tbh...i'm upgrading soon so i can live with it for now. The most annoying crash i've found so far is the freeze crash where Skyrim won 't let you get back to Desktop to end task so you have to reset, which isn't healthy for you Hard-Drive at all in fact i've had to system restore once because of it...So anyway if it happens to you try this. *Press the Windows Key once - Press the Up Arrow once (not the numberpad up arrow) - Press Enter once - Press S* PC goes to Standby and comes back on 2 mins later when you click the mouse or move it, in the desktop and you can safely close Skyrim. This is a fix for XP, yes some of us still use it atleast until Christmas :p....but i imagine you can do similar on all the later windows versions have a look at your start menu and see what the keyboard shortcuts are. I don't suppose anyone has or knows of a mod to stop Mage Followers nuking the crap out of everything with AOE spells to the point where the screen is constantly shaking and all my other followers are beating her to a pulp as they've all been hit repeatedly....it's slowly driving me insane. I've looked for a mod to change AI but they all seem to be about making the fights tougher, not really what i'm looking for at this point. I have AmazingFollowerTweaks and there is an option to stop friendly fire or to make followers ignore it, but it doesn't seem to be working for me. I also have a friendly fire ignore spell i have cast on them from another mod, but Vilja still attacks Brelyna after some fights because she hit me with the fireballs. if anyone has or knows of a Mod that disables friendly fire, please let me know...or just stops Companions using AoE spells Thanks alot in advance

Anyone else find the whole Paarthurnax killing a bit bloodthirsty? I fell out with the Blades big time over this. Seriously Beth writers need to lay off the aggression juice, Oblivion was the same with a certain murder innocent Breton farmers with no alternative Fighter's Guild Quest and the murder the LAST Unicorn with no alternative Quest. (MUST KILL EVERYTHING RAWRRR! <beats chest and thinks fire is a keen invention>). Fortunately for us a SINGLE-PLAYER game that is moddable lets you (and others) put in the things they like and ignore the mods they do not. Though not all files get tagged appropriately...using the tag sorting to filter out certain types of mods would go a long way for you not haveing to see these kinds of mods. Remember to review the Terms of Service of the site and continue to express your opinions in a nice and lighthearted manner (and saying they blow is maybe not as nice as it could be) and if you see a file you don't like..don't comment just pass it on by. :thumbsup: Indeed apologies if i over stepped the mark, i was trying to be light hearted....nexus maybe needs some clearer filters when searching so you can see lore friendly and unfriendly easily...and yes i should get off my bum and make some mods and stop whining hehe....to be honest there are some outstanding mods out there its just finding them is becoming increasingly difficult amoungst the *others*.
