  1. I was wondering if anyone knew if it would be possible to delete a mod that affects what NPCs wear without them becoming naked. I got a clothing mod, but then as my playthrough went on, clothing became purple more and more often. For whatever reason, this has been happening to other things and not just clothes, but it happens to the clothing from the mod more often than everything else. (Also, yes, my computer is completely capable of running the game, no I don't need to lower the resolution because I've tried that, no the textures are not missing because if I re-enter the area they load just fine, and no I have not tried unloading all of my mods because it takes a while to see if that helps and I'd have to start a whole new playthrough for that which would make it take even longer. I have tried re-installing the mod and didn't see any better results. My load order is possibly too messy which could be the issue since I only sort using LOOT. This post isn't even about the purple texture issue, but I thought I'd type this anyways. Also sorry for making pointless points no one ever sees or responds to if anyone cares, this one will most likely fade into the abyss of untouched posts.)
  2. Have you made any recent changes to your Skyrim game? If you uninstalled a map mod, then that could be causing that. If not, you could possibly try getting a map mod such as A Quality World Map.
  3. If https:// is present in the link, remove it and refresh. Worked for me.
  4. I got this issue quite a few times, and I managed to fix it by removing https:// from the link.
  5. All of my other weapons work just fine... I've been messing around with my mods trying to get this to work, but nothing will work. I can use my crossbow just fine without any issues in 3rd person, but when I go to first person, it's invisible unless I'm jumping/falling or hit right click two or three times. I've sorted my load order, ditched an animation mod, but nothing seems to be working. The only change that I made was I deleted Borderless Window and replaced it with One Tweak. Other than that, I had the chaos of updating my Windows 10 computer which wanted me to reinstall Steam for whatever reason, so I renamed Steam to Steam2, then while I was waiting I opened up Mod Organizer to take care of some mods. MO complained claiming it couldn't find my Skyrim folder. Updates finished and I changed Steam's name back and ran Skyrim, but no matter what save I load and what I do the crossbow is broken. I decided I'd put this on YouTube, video is below if I put in the link right. EDIT: My mod list may be too long, but I decided to include it anyways. I have discovered this is definitely an issue with some mod. I made a new game with barely anything for mods and the crossbow worked fine. Then I went back to having all my mods and suddenly the crossbow was broken again on old and new saves. I can't imagine what mod would possibly cause this especially since my game was working just fine not too long ago. I'll go through the painful process of unchecking things, but if someone has any ideas on what to uncheck that would help a lot. EDIT 2: After messing around and deleting mods I wasn't using, it suddenly works just fine... problem solved I guess?
  6. I get this occasional bug where I suddenly can't move or look around and my vision flashes as if I'm rapidly moving from side-to-side. Each time this happens, everything is functional, in fact I can save and load up the save without any issues and continue to play, but after I do sometimes the game will flash less and stops responding so I have to task manager out. Doesn't seem to cause any major issues, but having to start the game back up can be annoying when I already crash quite a bit. (Or, at least, compared to Special Edition since I got sick of missing out on mods and came back to Oldrim.) A good note to make is I tend to notice some movable object nearby that I'm touching on standing on top of, so something might be going wrong with that collision sometimes. Out of all my mods, I only have two mods that probably modify this type of collision and those are Realistic Ragdolls and Force and Dead Body Collision. That is, if the collision is the issue. Full mod list (warning, it's long)
  7. I didn't think you could open them. Whenever I try to it says "unable to open archive index was outside the bounds of array" no matter what program I use for bsas. EDIT: This is old, but I'm editing this anyways. My assumption is that there were too many things to load and the program couldn't handle it. That, or maybe they just aren't meant to be opened/can't be opened.
  8. I was looking for a mod that makes Shadowmere darker, but found nothing, so I decided I'd try to do so myself. The thing is, I can't seem to get to the texture for Shadowmere and haven't found any tutorials I can use. The ones I do find are for Oldrim and don't work since I can't open the texture bsas in Data and unlike Oldrim, Special Edition has 9 different bsas that have textures. How do I edit the skin? (Any tutorials, mods, locations, etc relating to this would help. Thanks!)
  9. I keep getting this really strange lag where everything moves slowly and the frame rate is a little lower for 1-3 seconds then everything speeds up as if it were catching back up... I can't even run at a consistant pace. I believe this is an issue while loading since it seems to happen less while in any interiors and once they're fully loaded. Is there any way to fix this? I've tried switching down from ultra to high and medium but neither of those changed a thing. I'm not sure what to call this since I've never had this lag before. It was suggested once that I got more RAM to handle the 8 GB requirement... I have 12 GB so I can debunk that. I have lots of mods so there's a chance they have something to do with this. Thanks! EDIT: I can't remember what I did, but I think messing with my load order fixed the issue. No one responded on this anyways though lol
  10. I thought this was a follower/companion mod list... 1/10 lies.
  11. (Was just searching to see if someone had made a hippogryph mod) I have many plans. I'm going to be making a hippogryph mod. I'll even have in a quest line, but for now I'm just starting. It'll have smooth animations and nice flying, along with some unique attacks. It will be summonable so you can't loose it. Along with that, it'll have settings to make it stop following you and such. It'll even be able to be unsummoned. The speed will be 1.5x the vanilla horse speed since I've been using some mods and found one that upgraded shadowmere with that speed. The speed was perfect. But, in the settings, I'll also add in a way to change the speed. If you want to go vanilla speed or as slow as a sloth for some reason, it'll be in there. You could also go at a very fast speed, possibly up to 3 or 4x as much as the vanilla horse speed. I hope you'll like this mod once it's finished, if you have any suggestions, go ahead and let me know. I'm not exactly taking your request, I'm really just letting you know about the mod I'm currently making. This will be my first mod and it will take a while to make, but if you'd like, once it's ready, you can do some beta testing. All of these are plans, there's no promises in any of this, but hopefully I can make all I just said happen.
