  1. If you made a profile for this in Nexus it would be much more known to people and easier to locate.
  2. Seriously, fake Twitter and thread title in capital letters to attract people stinks me to troll.
  3. No, it doesn't, I'm pretty sure it's its CPU, a Phenom II doesn't have such performance per core like a C2D/Q, and far less a i5/i7, he can have its cpu at 3.7ghz, it will be like a C2D at 3.2ghz or so, as the game will only use two cores, if it was optimized for a quad core CPU at least he'd be fine, but that Phenom II at 2/6 cores is like an old C2D, deal with it.
  4. I didn't think of it before, but now I would have really been awesome and pretty lore friendly to have spears in game.
  5. My Little Pony is the best mod around right now, it's made me laugh like no other has ever...
  6. Performance mods such as Streamline for Skyrim would be awesome to fight the crappy performance. I'd really like to see a Real Time Settler for Skyrim, that would be marvellous. And my last wish would be an OBGE for Skyrim, imagine all the options you would get from it, AA, SSAO, HDR, etc etc etc
  7. They can try to fight, but when it comes to mods for a TES game, this is the reference page, I think they have no chance, even with these prizes, but look at the good side, that will stimulate people to create good works even faster for Skyrim.
  8. If that CPU had reached actually 85ºC, you wouldn't be writing with that computer right now.
  9. You can have all cores you want, Skyrim will only use 2 threads at full capacity, so I'd recommend you to OC your CPU and leaving 3 cores on (if that helps oc'ing, I'm not sure). By the way, the game is completely CPU relying, but it's a crappy port, so it doesn't use all current PC resources. I bet that GPU is not being used half its capacity, you could enable some demanding GPU filters, such as SSAA.
  10. The normal case having your GPU or mine is having a Core i5/i7. Your CPU will cut your fps in an intensive CPU game, but there are others, such as Metro 2033, which is pretty GPU intensive, that means you will not be bottlenecked by your CPU. Anyway, Skyrim is so badly optimized for PC (if it's at least a bit) it just drains your CPU when there are many tasks, like shadows, that the GPU could handle without problem, and I'd bet many fps problems would be solved. But, again, Bethesda is so lazy they just ported the game and released it, not fair, but assuming they sell most of their "Skyrims" on 360, and least on PC, they don't see why we should be playing the game as good as console players do. Just to let you see, look how fast Bethesda answered when they heard of texture problem on 360, while the PC Forum was filled with complains and help requests, the best you can do to get additional FPS is to OC your CPU as much as you can, good luck.
  11. Computer specs? At which quality are you running Skyrim? If you have a low-mid GPU you may be running out of VRAM, but if you don't tell anything but just that it's impossible anybody knows what's wrong.
  12. Well, it's pretty easy, your C2D is bottlenecking your GPU, so your GPU isn't used at its maximum capacity, that means you have free power remaining and can activate filters with no fps cost, until you fill your maximum VRAM or reach 100% GPU usage, then, your fps will start to drop. I have almost the same computer (GTX 470 [email protected]) as you so I can run AAx8 with almost no FPS loss (it sheldon hits 100% usage) because half my GPU is not being used, so it's the CPU who limits the fps.
  13. I'm looking forward to it, they look great!
  14. The very same things happens to me occasionally so it's pretty obvious it's not a hardware problem, as many people have this problem. I guess this should be posted on Bethesda Forum so they can patch this,
  15. Hey guys, is there a mod available to play after finishing main quest? I've tried to find one but without success.
  16. Nevermind, I found the way to make it work, if anyone is having the same problem, I solved it by modifying droplittorchhotkey.ini, and setting "set addtorchkey.radius to 784" (original value is -1), you get this .ini by installing droplittorchesobse.
