  1. Loot = Load Order tool. It will also tell you of any patches or wild edits in your mods. https://loot.github.io/ Maybe you would like a guide. https://danaeplays.thenet.sk/good-modding-practice/ https://github.com/Sigourn/morrowindsharp/blob/main/setup.md#morrowind-part-1
  2. I would suggest following a guide. I used this one in the past. I don't know if its the most updated one. Should be? But alot of your ?s are ansered in there. https://github.com/Sigourn/morrowindsharp/blob/main/setup.md#morrowind-part-1
  3. Did you try backing up and reseting you Morrowind.ini? Also, Loot seems to be the favorite now over Mlox for Load Order. Idn... Reset your inis
  4. Oh that's good. I answered a Oblivion thread. My Bad. Apologies. EDIT: THIS is the correct one lol From Oblivion.ini. In this folder: %User\Documents\My Games\Oblivion ;X = 1, Y = 2, Z = 3, XRot = 4, YRot = 5, ZRot = 6iJoystickMoveFrontBack=2iJoystickMoveLeftRight=1 See if this is what you have. If not, you will have to find the correct number for the iJoystick...FrontBack= & LeftRight=. There are a few threads around the net on "tweaking" the gamepad. DM me if you want links. Good luck.
  5. lol xD Your using a Gamepad to play the game, correct? In your ini the options to change the XYZ axis needs changed for gamepads. Backup your Morrowind.ini > Find & change this part: ; X=1, Y = 2, Z = 3, XRot = 4, YRot = 5, ZRot = 6Joystick Look Up/Down=5Joystick Look Left/Right=4 I THINK those values are correct. Default is Up=6 Left=3. It's funny bc I haven't seen this "problem" in a long time :P
  6. Sounds like your install is in \program files (x86). In other words Windows or another app is preventing your files from being saved.
  7. It's because of MWSE lua and MGExe/DL and other things. Besides don't draw lines because "oldwind" Will be compatible with openmw. Or is it vice versa? That's the plan. When? Who knows. When Tamriel Rebuilt's done :P IOW all those GREAT things made for vanilla will be compatible with openmw in future. Have patience :)
  8. https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/44537?tab=files TR_Data is now Tamriel_Data.esm. One of your mods is calling for the old TR. List your load order in spoiler brackets if you can't figure it out. MO2 is fine now with Morrowind. Only Oblivion doesn't work correctly. But it takes a power user to get it all going. This guide will help you out with MO2 and ES3. https://github.com/Sigourn/morrowind-improved/blob/master/setup.md
  9. It's never boring & I always find something to download :)
  10. No offence but your load order's a mess. Take dragon32's advice. You have multiple patches where you only need to pick one. All "~1*.esp, DNGDR*.esp, Children mods" & the ones Dragon32 said are suspect. Compare file sizes & info of patches and pick the one u need. RandomPal has an Updated MLox list. https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/48812?tab=files Overwrite it with yours, but keep a backup of your old one. If you have the experience, open your whole load order (besides Merge/Multipatch) in TESPCD & Tes3View and apply a conflict filter to get a direction on what needs fixing or gotten rid of. But this is only after you cut down your load order as whole. =This is how most Solve conflicts. Most of the time one just has to move the mod up/down. Sometimes you have to make a patch but chances are it's already been made.
  11. Purr4me suggestion on using a prior save to accessing ROHT would work. You could also find the Quest ID and advance/reset it with the console. I wouldn't recommend a newbie doing that tho. I don't know the ID's off hand. Abot has a mod that can show you the Quest ID to give you some direction. Construction Set would be what you would use to get the ID. =Just make sure you don't save / Auto-Save is Disabled in Construction Set.
  12. Takes me 5+min. If it's hanging then maybe its a mesh error / stuck on processing a mesh. Are you using Full mesh quality? I would get errors/crashing if I did not use the "Mesh detail=Full". =3rd window with grass density in the Distant Land Wizard or cntrl+F in mge.ini.
  13. Abot has an Excellent mod for your problem. Smart Journal. Just MWSE lua. No plugin. https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/47492 Check out the options. One lists the Quest ID which shows the Plugin its from. Many great options.
  14. The first 3 errors "One of the files..." can be fixed in Wrye Mash by updating masters. But you have a mess of a load order. Take these Old Heads' advice and get Mlox. But that's just a start. There are a lot of mods in ur LO that are outdated or just best to let go of bc of compatibility. Especially for a beginner to mod'n. Did you follow a guide? Some would recommend this guide: https://github.com/Sigourn/morrowind-improved Others would say stick with this: https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Morrowind_graphics_guide My advice would be to start over and follow one of the above guides. But I'm a small brain so take my advice w/ salt. EDIT: Sounds like I was being mean :P I wasn't. Take for example the children of morrowind mods. Most mods will need patches for this. Graphic Herbalism.esp isn't used anymore. It went the mwse lua route. The official plugins are taking over by UMOPP w/ a merged plugin. The NPC/armor mods will need multipatch and tes3merge. You'll find MRM to be awesome, but again, compatibility. These are just some of the examples going down your load order. Just trying to clarify and not sound like a a-hole. Hence why I recommend one of those guides.
  15. Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays, Morrowind Community. Apologies for necro'n my Old Thread but I found my Problem / Solution. Tel Dranori added a Static to the in_t_CouncilHall.nif. It added a Sky_Moon_Large.nif. Idn what that is, other than some sort of moon :P Anyways if anyone has this problem in the future; I opened all the mods I run in TESPCD. Checked all and found Tel Dranori...esp added a static to above. I then opened Enchanted Editor and deleted the Static Entry. Just checked and all is well. Cleaned the plugin just in case, but yea. I'm good. The Mouths Now have something to stand on xD Enjoy the Holidays :)
