I like this, I would suggest keeping track of the 1000 downloads threshold as I suspect that might be a bit too easy to obtain, if that's the case consider increasing it in the future for verifying mod authors (might take them longer to be verified, but it's not the end of the world and helps keep scammy accounts at bay).

I think a good way to go about is a 'request/approve' form handled through the Nexus for example. Say I was to ask Author1 for permission to port his Mod1 from Skyrim to SkyrimSE (for example), I fill a 'request' form on the Nexus, which has a link to Mod1 and states that I am interested in porting it from one game (origin) to a different game (target). I fill the form, which has that info, as well as details on the permissions (it could just default to 'whatever the mod currently has as permissions' unless stated otherwise), and it could include a message as well to include other details. Once I am done, that form is sent to Author1, who gets a Nexus notification (on the website, or through email as well, kind of like how PMs work at the moment). Author1 then can review the form on the Nexus, and if he agrees he 'approves' that request. If he doesn't agree he can chose to 'ignore' it or 'negate' it. He can also return the request further detailing conditions, such as 'you can port it but you can't do further modifications', or 'you can port it and modify/improve it if you want', stuff like that. Since all of this is handled through Nexus servers, they have proof of the exchange and can log it into their database if they want, depending on how they code the forms. I think that would be far better than a screenshot which can easily be photoshopped by anyone.

Bug in Arlington Library
kevkas replied to burnoutspartan's topic in Fallout 3's Mod Troubleshooting
Thanks again to blove for pointing out the automat issue, I'm not using FOOK but still with vanilla + UUF3P + a few extra textures/models mods I had this issue. Just in case someone else is having this issue after so many years, if you have installed the mod Tweaked Automat Modders Resource v1.2 by lordinquisitor that's the troubling mesh, you can instead use Automat Fix by RoyBatterian. -

[Updated] New NMM version out, help us out and update to it (also, X R
kevkas replied to Dark0ne's topic in Site Updates
In response to post #10463725. Try running the installer as Administrator. Also check if you've downloaded a complete file, sometimes the downloaded file finishes abruptly and you actually have half of the entire file. -
I heard Disney offered it to Sam Reimi before JJA, but he declined saying he would rather enjoy the new trilogy sitting down as another fan, rather than take on the huge responsability that is making the three new movies. Wise choice if you ask me. :P

This was really needed, thx. :)

HAHAHAHA, both miketheratguy (awesome name btw) and bben46 cracked me up, if I could rep up bben46 I would but the system won't allow me, so @bben46: consider yourself +1 hahaha. -
I agree, the new layout reminds me of the old one, but with the new added features nicely integrated. I also like the new arrangement for the 'Site news' tab, much better.

Thanks for the updates, letting us choose which feed is the default one is much better. I'm still getting used to the new layout though. :P

Wow, I was just having this problem and trying to figure out what was wrong. Googling it I ended up here, should have known to start looking here in the first place. -.- Thanks to both of you guys. :)

I'm trying to do something very very small, just for myself, but can't seem to figure out where the value is located when using the CK. As you can see here: Smithing - Item Quality skill level required for 'Fine' upgrades are both 14, regardless of wheter you have the Steel Smithing perk or not. I'm currently using a mod called Epic Glory which makes you start the game with cero in all skills (except a few hardcoded ones, which start at 5 or 10), so I'm indeed at Smithing level cero right now. What I would like to do is change that 14 skill requirement to 7 when you have the Steel Smithing perk. Does anybody know where that setting is so I can change it? I've been trying to find it for almost an hour, with no luck. Thanks for reading, even if you can't help

Just came back to say thanks once again, I managed to change what I wanted and update my mod. If you want you can see it here: Arrows Tweaks. I gave credit to both of you for helping me :)

Thanks to you too Jet4571. Kudos to both of you :)

Ok, thx. LItemBlacksmithArrows75 seems to relate to vendors too, Blacksmiths in this case.

Thanks Sunnie, I wasn't sure and I think I needed to double check xD Regarding why I'm making this, it's for two reasons: 1) Mainly because I'm trying to learn new ways to use the creation kit (I didn't learn how to modify loot using the GECK so now I felt I should at least try to ask for help instead of giving up without even trying). I guess it's never too late to learn new stuff, and you are proof that there's always someone willing to help :) 2) I also wanted to see if I could increase the importance of arrow-smithing for people like us who use mods that let you craft them. I actually started a new game from scratch a couple of weeks ago, and I'm playing almost as a pure archer, so I want to see how bad (and how fast, hence the 3 versions) things could get if you don't plan ahead how many arrows you'll carry before having to go back and craft some more (or buy them). It's interesting to see what other options you character has besides it's own major skill, and it's a good way to induce the player to have a backup skill for when you run out of arrows. It also give the Hunter's Discipline a little more importance in-game, which is a perk I found pretty useless in vanilla as it is. Once again, thanks for your help ;)

Thanks for answering so quickly xD (I'm working on this right now actually, so I keep this post open). Yes, all I want is to reduce the number dropped, and also the number found in containers, dead draugrs (the already dead ones in their tombs, not the undeads that attack you I mean), and sold by merchants too. I'll leave the Chance None value alone, since it won't really reflect a set number in reduction (it won't actually be 50% in that case, and I prefer to work with variables I can control). And how about arrows found in chests? I see a couple of lists: - TGCacheArrows50 - TGMerchantArrows Based on their names I guess they work for containers and merchants (I'll look further to find the proper lists if these aren't), but they all seem to pull from one of the major lists already: LItemArrowsAll. Can you think of a different list that's related to merchants and containers? I also see this one: - TG02MercLItemWeaponArrows which pulls from BaseArrow's lists but includes a counter. I should change that one too right? Sorry to ask so many questions, I'm trying to learn to work with leveled item lists but there are too many! xD Edit: Actually, I just checked and all these lists seem to have a counter different than cero, and none of the pull from the major lists: LItemBanditWeaponArrows LItemBlacksmithArrows75 LItemDraugr02WeaponArrowSublist LItemDraugr05EWeaponArrowSublist LItemDraugr05WeaponArrowSublist LItemFalmerArrows LItemForswornArrows LItemForswornWeaponArrows LItemMiscVendorArrows75 LItemOrcStrongholdArrows LItemVampireWeaponArrows I think I should halve the number on each of those lists too, right?
