  1. I was looking at the ban thread and noticed just about every account listed was closed by request. I don't know if that's the real reason for many of those accounts. Seems to me a lot of those I am seeing are spam accounts. There's actually two separate forum areas now for banned versus closed by request accounts. Banned accounts get posted here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/forum/188-forum-rules-and-warnings/ and that forum has a sub forum for closed by request accounts here: https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/forum/631-closed-accounts/ AHH okay thanks for that. I am a bit surprised to see that they split the two kinds of bans / Requests. Kinda relieved since it probably makes organizing much easier. :)

  3. In response to post #37067255. #37067320, #37068075 are all replies on the same post. You guys make an account Bethesda.net? If not you have to do that first to login :). It doesn't use Steam login.
  4. Dude you do realize it hasn't even been a full year right? Bethseda made an annoucement clearly stating that GECK Tool Kit will be released after the first year of the game. You know that right? Bethseda doesn't mess around when it comes to those kind of promises. Look at every single game they have released in Fallout series and Elder Scrolls series. They have always loved modding in their games and approve of them. If they didn't those games wouldn't have sold. You are really paranoid and the fact they give such powerful tools says something about the company. As I stated above it hasn't even been a full year and bethseda made an announcement that they wouldn't support modding for a full year after game's release. It hasn't been close to a full year you know that right? They made it difficult to mod the game so that regular users couldn't mess up their base game with stuff that shouldn't even be told about during feedback. You do realize that every game bethseda has released in Fallout and Elder Scrolls series has always been plagued by massive bugs and such. Look at the beta patch for example. This time around they actually added some good stuff like Debris damage from weapons and HBAO+ as well. If you look at the mods now they are actually putting those types of things into updates now. This isn't like the old days where they release the game and its fully working for most part. Now they do actually do quick releases and then use the entire player base to give feedback on what needs to be fixed. Of course this practice is getting bad since it's causing bad releases that shouldn't be happening. I should also add to you guys. Bethseda actually does like mods for most part. For example the whole settlement feature in fallout 4 most likely came from the famous mod that did this very thing in fallout 3 to New Vegas and skyrim. Godrays coming through windows became big in New Vegas and look at Fallout 4 which they have decided to add that kind of lighting into the game. They even stepped up and went Directx 11 for the first time in their games of these two series. And the game is 64 bit to boot. So yeah they support modding because for modding textures now you really do need a 64 bit executiable to make it work well. So many mods from the past have been slightly implemented into Fallout 4 is not even funny.
  5. Bethesda disables mods for BETA!!!! patches with very good reason. They want the feedback on theyr work, and no complaints on "oh my... whiney scream, my mod xyz does not run with a BETA-patch". So, if you dont like it, dont use it. Yes it is that easy. Beta patches are NOT made for everone to use. You have to know what your are doing, and if not, screw yourself, but dont bother others, if someting, not designed for patch3 is not working. oh yeh that how come it wipes your plugins.txt in the current official patch unless you make it read only explain that?! Because they want people to not edit plugins for the first year so they can get legit feedback about the game that needs fixes. They made it clear that mods were not supported for the first year. And considering the recent updates being beta, of course they are going to try to lock modding for the time being. It's not to sabotage but to make it less likely to be modded and easier to fix bugs.
  6. I have to agree. I found out that only one mod so far out of my 100 something mods have caused CTD's in game. From reading through Steam Forums and official Fallout 4 forums on Bethseda site, people have crashed at specific points in the game with only vanilla game. No mods used at all. I should point out that if you run Debris setting on max settings, from what I have read, it has caused crashes in specific areas I believe. I distinctively remember reading it about one of the settlements actually that is some manor of sorts.
  7. Can you list your mods installed? I would like to know your entire list and compare mine. It would be good to see what texture mods are causing the damn crashes. Wonder if Beta Patch changed some of the texture names. If so we need to figure out which ones and see if we can fix it. I uninstalled Gore Overhaul as well but when I did quest for institute for Mass Fusion quest I got instand CTD after being teleported from Institute to location. Even with Gore Overhaul uninstalled I still got CTD. I hear though there are people who are crashing at specific places in game that don't even have mods installed. So that should be a warning sign right there.
  8. I did reinstall of all textures mods that I had. And so far with latest beta patch not a single crash yet. This is from simply loading my save game as well. Yesterday with the previous 1.3 beta patch it would crash on many of the texture mods. Also I should point out that load times is back to where I had it before Beta 1.3. It's not that long anymore . I speak of Beta 1.3.47 For those who haven't realized new update was today. The amount of mods Installed are 92 Mods and 93 Plugins enabled.
  9. In response to post #27858364. #27858549 is also a reply to the same post. I can see there is a lot of rage about this modkit but it seems on their twitter they stated there is no future plans for releasing anything else at the moment. I am a little bit disappointed. Maybe they will release RedKit in future but as of right now there is no plans to do so. "Marcin Momot: @MeerMusik This is the mod support for the Wild Hunt. At this moment we are not planning to release anything else."
  10. I had this just recently and I ran FNVUpdateMaster.exe and then when I did filter I did not touch it at all the window... I noticed it froze once but it kept going afterwards. Though now I got an error called "This Interface is Not Supported"... Dont know what that means though.
