  1. Yes. It has the correct material. It shows up on the forge inside the ebony category.
  2. So, I created a new Ebony Helmet and placed it in Skyrim, I did NOT replace the original one, just added another. Everything is perfect. It has the correct values, it shows up in game, it's craftable and upgradable and doesn't clip. However, It doesn't give any bonus with Matching set perks. I use Skyrim Redone, and all of the perks that give bonus with a matchin set, don't give the bonus. Did I miss something?
  3. I picked Ace, Asis and Duel Combat Realism. I think it's a really great mix. I already had some trouble with some bandits early on, I hope it keeps up. :)
  4. Are those mods compatible? Deadly Combat and Duel Combat Realism work together? I like all of these mods and I want to use all of them but they seem to conflict. Just wondering.
  5. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16976/? Bro, you made me happy this day. Thank you.
  6. I personally find this unrealistic. For you to add these type of legs you need to bend them and curve up a little bit like werewolf's otherwise no way these legs could work. You can only have a human shaped like body if you use human type of legs, if you use these ones, they have to walk like werewolves. These type of legs won't offer the balance needed for a character to walk up straight like a human. That's just how anatomy works in real life. :\ I would love to see their feet instead with three or 4 large toes with claws. I would enjoy that much more.
  7. So, I used to play Requiem, sadly the mod got abandoned and the mod is still not even dragonborn compatible which is a shame sicne I considered it the best overhaul for Skyrim in many many ways. Not the difficulty though, always fonud it way to hard to be enjoyed but a few optional files and got fixed. But overall it gave me the best experience so far since vanilla skyrim. Don't get me wrong, I love vanilla Skyrim as much as Requiem, the game is amazing either way. But since Requiem will most likelly not get the dragonborn update I was wondering what other mixes might I use to create a new interesting Skyrim. I tried Skyre(Skyirm Redone) and I didn't liked it at all, it's just one big perk fest. I want more interesting perks, but don't clutter the damn perk trees to hell! And then added weird weapons, I know many of them are from morrowind and oblivion, but It's Skyrim, Scimitars, katanas, tantos, those things shouldn't even exist there, and if they do they must be really rare since it's kind of alienish weapons to that land. Hell everyone was amazed about the warriors from hammerfell having cursed swords let alone thing more alienish then that. Skyrim is the land of Axes, warhammers and big broad swords. Not mention the game was easier then vanilla in my opinion. I just wanted to know if someone could give me the names of some mods that work well together that might make my next run interesting. I use all sort of immersive mods for greater immersion and roleplaying, as long as they are compatible with those I'm fine.
  8. I just wish that someones decides to do it man. I just wish.
  9. Hello. Didn't ever crossed your mind why there are no helms for the beast races? Argonians with horns, get them cut off everytime you place a helm, Khajiit ears disappear. Aren't you tired of this? I sure am, me being an argonian player, I have to play without a helmet, because there are no helms for beast races. Yes I know, there are dozens of invisible helms mods. But I want see helms, I want my character with a helm, but a real argonian helmet(in this case). I found this mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/5803 And for a moment I thought I found something that could fix it, but then the small little phrase saying "Beast races are not compatible". Shattered everything. That's why I'm here, I come here asking if someone had the time, the patience and the will to make a beast race version of the exiting helms in Skyrim, that actually allows argonian horns come out and Khajiit ears. If someone does this, I would be extremelly thankfull!
  10. Hey guys. Been a long time since I played Dragon Age origins, and now I want to return back to it. But this time I decided to get some mods. I was hoping you guys could give a hand. :) I'm pretty much just interested in mods that add content like quests/companions new places and stuff of the sort. I was only able to find 2 only: Quest and Legends Dragon Age Redesigned I don't know if there are more, but if there are more and they are good, I would like to know. :)
  11. Thanks for the comments. At least I know some are interested. I'm glad you liked the descriptions as I also prefer it like this. Gives a more RPGish feeling to it. :) I will continue to work on it and when it's nearly done, I'll announce it here on this topic. :)
  12. This is probably going to be my very first released mod(I've made mods before but just kept them with me or friends, but I'm not sure if I should release this one). And what it basically does it completely changes all the existing perk trees and makes them "better" in overall. At least to my eyes they seem alright. -removes or changes overpowered or useless perks. -Specialized branches within perk trees allow for true Roleplaying experience. No more power gaming. -Bigger perk trees allow for you to actually reach level 81 by ONLY leveling the things you want. -|-Objective-|- The purpose of this mod is to actually make you go up to high levels by only getting the perks you want! This way instead of running out of perks on your favorite things on mid levels (30-40s), you can actually go up to 70s! You might find perks, that for you to fully unlock them you need to spent about 40 perk points. Because the objective here is not for you to be able to unlock everything. But only unlock the things you want and need for you to specialize in a class. Saying this, you'll probably be using about 10-13 perk points per perk tree, leading to use a total of 6 Perk Trees. A couple of examples of modified perk trees: 2 Handed Weapons Heavy arms(0/3)---->Champion Stance------>Great Critical Charge -------> Sweep -------> Warmaster ----->Devastating Blow-------| ----->Battle Axe Initiation--> Limb Splitter--> Cleaving impact--> Controlled Fury--> Battle Axe Mastery ----->War Hammer Initiation--> Concentrated Energy--> Armor Crusher--> Destructive Impact--> War Hammer Mastery ----->GreatSword Mastery--> Deep Wounds--> Raging Speed--> Wrathful Impact--> Greatsword Mastery -Heavy Arms: You become more Comfortable with Heavy Weapons. Increase damage with 2H weapons by 15% per rank -Champion Stance, Great Critical Charge, Sweep, Devastating Blow and Warmaster are the same as vanilla -Battle Axe Initiation: Your weapon of choice is the Battle Axe. As you train you grow more fond of it and learn knew techniques with it. Increases damage with Battle Axes by 30% -Limb Splitter: With the use of brutal strength you can deal fatal wounds to your enemies. Does bleed damage. -Cleaving Impact: Months on using Battle Axes have made you strong and you are capable of cracking most armors even if only by a little. Ignore armor 20% -Controlled Fury: You no longer let the fury and rage of a battle take control of you and you're better at using your energies more wisely. Doing power attacks with Battle Axes costs less 10% stamina -Battle Axe Mastery: You've groaned into a Master of the Battle Axe! Increase damage with Battle Axes 15% -War Hammer Initiation: Your weapon of choice is the War Hammer. As you train you grow more fond of it and learn knew techniques with it. Increases damage with War Hammer by 30% -Concentrated Energy: You focus your energy on powerful blows while making good use of it. Power Attacks with a War Hammer costs less 10% stamina -Armor Crusher: Unleash the nightmarish power of weapon on your foes armor! Rendering it useless against your might! Ignore armor 60% -Destructive Impact: It's nearly something of the Old Legends, the amount of power and strength you place in your devastating attacks. Power attack damage increased by 10% -War Hammer Mastery:You've groaned into a Master of the War Hammer! Increase damage with Warhammers 15% -GreatSword Initiation: Your weapon of choice is the GreatSword. As you train you grow more fond of it and learn knew techniques with it. Increases damage with GreatSwords by 30% -DeepWounds same as vanilla -Raging Speed: You managed to learn the secrets of wielding a Greatsword and now are capable of being much faster with it! Greatsword is 10% faster. -Wrathfull Impact: You unleash your wrath with every powerfull blow you deal! Even if the target blocks, it will feel like a Battering Ram! Drain targets stamina giving aswell bonus damage when doing power attacks. -GreatSword Mastery:You've groaned into a Master of the GreatSword! Increase damage 15% Heavy Armor: -Juggernaut(0/5)--->Well Fitted(0/2)--> Pillar Of Strength-->Conditioning--> Cushioned-->Heavy Fighter-->Mountain ---->Guardian(0/2)-->Tower Of Strength--> Matching Set-->Reflect Blows-->Vanguard-->| --->Armor Of Magicka-->Reflection -Juggernaut: You prefer Heavy platings then flimsy leathers to protect your body and you're getting better with them! Increase armor rating 10% per rank -Well Fitted: You feel much better fitted in Heavy Armor without a Helm and therefore being better without it! 15% per rank more armor rating without helms -Pillar Of Strength: You are a true body platted warrior cabale of using the Heavy Armor exceptionally well without clumsy Helms! 30% less Stagger if using only 3 pieces -Conditioning and Cushioned are same as vanilla -Heavy Fighter: Plate is now a second skin to you, it feels natural and gives you the security that nothing else can however, only without a helm! Increase armor rating by 10% -Mountain: Like the Mountains of Skyrim you are as thick and hard to bring down as you've becomed fully mastered in Heavy Armor! Armor rating increased by 50% -Guardian:You feel much better fitted in Heavy Armor with a Helm. 15% per rank more armor rating wearing all heavy armor. -Tower Of Strength: Like a Tower you are great and mighty! Foes try to bring you down, but your weight and controll with Heavy Armor makes the task seem impossible! 50% less stagger when wearing all heavy armor -Matching Set is same as vanilla -Reflect Blows: You know how armor works. You know how to use it's angles to make swords bounce off it. 10% chance to reflect melee damage. -Vanguard: You are the very best at Heavy Armor, capable of pulling the best out of it, using every piece of metal on your body to change the tide of battle in your favor! Armor rating increased by 20% -Armor Of magicka: You believe magic is without honor! And only tricksters will use it! There for you invested in protection for it! 5% protection form spells but 10% decrease in spell effectiveness. -Reflection: You dislike magic wielders with a passion, therefore you ready to cast back at them everything they throw you to see if they like their own medicine. 15% chance of reflecting spells but 25% decrease in spell effectiveness. Basically, What I want to know with this, if it's even worth releasing this? Or is it that bad? The reason I never released anything is because I think all my work is rubbish and really only satisfys my needs and I believe it won't satisfy other people. In my honest opinion these perks look very simplish, compared to things I've seen. I just barely understand how to make perks since there aren't many tuts out there for it(at least I didn't found much). But anyway, what do you guys think? Release? Or not release?
  13. Alright. Thank you for the info.
  14. I'm testing out a few things with a perk mod, but it's rather dificult to do it quickly because I would need to level up or do quests. I wanted to know if there is somekind of console command(I looked on google but didn't found any command that gives me perk points to spend) that let's you add perkpoints or perhaps a working mod outhere(Used some and they didn't worked). I need to test entire perk trees on a perk mod, and I needed to do it quickly, and creating a character everytime for every tree is not the most efficient way. Can anyone help me out please?
  15. I have a simple question. Is there a way to get rid of all the japanese/asian gear in this mod? It looks to be allot of fun, but the asian weapons are definetly wrecking the experience. In my opinion is greatly lore breaking. So I was wondering if you could do that.
  16. Well, in my way of veiweng fantasy. It has limits. Everything needs to be realistic and supported by studies and facts. I don't like when there is something in the game which has no damn explanation in it and looks dumb. Like for say....i'm going to add pigmen, because it's awesome. These type of mods are never getting in my game. Same for the skimpy armors. Armor is made to protect, it may have some artistical style in to it aslong it doesn't starts removing critical pieces like the whole front plate for example. Skin is not that good agiasn't blades... Like dragons for example, ignoring the magical side of them for a bit and if they were just reguler animals, they could be, in my opinion, an animal like that could very definetly exist. If things to me look believable and realistic that it almost feels that that world actually exists somewhere, then I'll definetly fall in love in it.
  17. Hello, so i'm one of the few players probably that has no graphic mod installed yet on skyrim. Simply because, most mods specially allot if not all ENB series make the world colorfull. I wanted to know if some of you may know of one that gives amazing graphics but that still keeps the cold cruel feeling of Skyrim. What I mean, is for example, the snowy bad weather with a nasty snow storm, that looks brutal with the greyish whiteish atmosphere, it gives a feeling of how cold and deadly the weather is in skyrim, overhaul sadness that exists in those desolate wastelands of snow as you find a long forgotten skeletal remains of a mammoth. And the dark nights with a wonderfull stary sky is definetly one of the amazing ways of playing skyrim. So I would want something that has much better graphic quality, that truelly makes everything more detailed and the world a bit alive, it can be colorfull on the right places, because I still want the grey in the snowy landscapes and the dark nights. :) So, does anyone know of any? :)
  18. Hello. I came here to ask a question to see if anyone can make a follower mod for me to use in my mod. This probably sounds silly just even asking about it, because I doubt anyone might do something like this. The only way then I could repay the maker would be a huge thanks and he's name on the credits. My script knowledge is very limited. Hell, I can barelly make a simple quest let alone something like this. Of all the follower mods outhere, all have options that wouldn't work with my mod. My question is: Would someone make a follower mod with these features? Features: -Increase the number of followers maybe up to 30 or something. -Followers do not level up. They stay on the same level until they die. -Followers die. No options to choose if they die or not. They simply die. -Commands that can command the entire party. (ex: Hold this position; Attack; Stand guard, etc) -You can completly change their gear(armor/weapons/potions etc) I haven't found one Follower mod with these features, and without it, I can barelly make my mod work. Now if there is a kind soul outhere that wouldn't mind making a mod like this to use in my mod, or perhaps he already haves a follower mod and would make a special version for me, or maybe even perhaps know of a follower mod that has these features that i'm not aware of. I would be extremelly gratefull!
  19. Thank you all for the awesome comments and votes. The voting is speaking for itself at the moment. :) Kepp them coming as I will keep this going for atleast 2 more days. :) And after this poll we might just announce our mod here on the forum to see if people are definetly interested. :)
  20. To me lore is history. History of a fantasy world and has rules. Just like you don't change real life history, I won't change fantasy history aswell. I have what I like to call "Realistic Fantasy", things need to be believable for me to like it. Fantasy for me has rules and is not so free. Sure, you can make up a ray gun for skyrim, but that would require an incredible cover story, studies, facts behind it to even make "sense". Pretty much like anything you decide to add to it. I don't like the logic: "It exists because it exists". Why did it exist? How was it made? In what year? And most of all do you think it would work? Do you feel it would work? Is it believable enough? I love fantasy, aslong as it makes sense, aslong I can look at it and think: This could actually work, or this animal could really exist, or those dragons could perhaps exist(not talking precisely about skyrim dragons though). Like I said, "Realistic Fantasy", it needs to be believable, and if your going to add something in then support it with studies and carefully detailed lore that would make someone think: "This is almost real" or "this could actually exist you know?". The more real Fantasy becomes, the better! But ofcourse, it is only my opinion and my way of viewing and seeing fantasy obviously. You have a diferent view on it, just like probably many more do. But what's great about opinions is that everyone can have their own and be alright right? ;)
  21. Thank you for your comment. I have an idea for a mod that I hope to start working on it soon with another guy. But we aren't exactly ready to go on with it without doing this poll first. From what I see, people prefer more lore friendly to the game. Something that doesn't look "Alien" to the world. We aren't ready to announce the mod on the forums or anything of the sorts. But it's definetly going to involve making new towns and new lands. Places that don't exist or even mentioned in the lore of TES.
  22. I chose the second option, however, I'm using a wide interpretation of "looks good". I definitely favour mods that adhere to TES lore, or, at the very least, don't conflict with it. I'm not dogmatic about that point, but if a mod clearly doesn't fit with the rest of the setting (for instance, mods that are based on a very different published work, or that horrible-looking body mod in the Leather Ninja Gear screenshot), I'm not going to have much interest in it. I have no interest in making Skyrim into a completely different world. That said, I don't mind downloading mods that add to the lore without conflicting with it, even if they have nothing to do with the original story or setting. So, a mod that takes you to a new worldspace/continent very different from Tamriel is fine, provided that it doesn't try to rewrite the history of Nirn. The Underdark mod for Oblivion was great, even though it was based on a concept developed for Forgotten Realms, because it was easy to imagine that this hidden world could exist under Cyrodiil. Hell, I'd even be okay with alien spaceships flying around and crashing in Skyrim - who's the say what's out there, right? However, I don't download mods purely because they "look good" from a cosmetic point of view. In my opinion, the way something looks is always secondary to the new features, content, and mechanics it brings to the game. I'm not going to download a mod that conflicts with the lore, just because it's shiny. Thank you for your vote and comment. What I meant with "looks good" I meant with exactly that. All the new places and features the mod brings, not just graphical. Maybe I've should explained it a little bit better on the poll. :P But your comment is great. :)
  23. I wanted to do this poll just to see on what people are truelly much more interested in seeing on quest mods. Does the majority wants lore friendly quests or they don't mind the modder creating some entirely new place. I've always wondered this question, and since I hope to make a quest mod soon, I wanted to see what the majority would want the most. So, if you don't mind to waste a few seconds of your time to leave a vote on the poll, please do vote. :) I don't know how long I'll keep it active, but maybe a few days. We'll see. :)
