Greetings, I don't mean to flame or anything, but during my short visit here. I realised that people are quite hostile, and I feel rather bad just considering going near the forums, seems like people are rather out to get you than helping out, only during my first thread someone came to tell me "How I failed", I guess I didn't really mind, but then this person kept stalking me untill the moderators told him to back off... Now, ofcourse, he's a moderator aswell, wich makes me want to be here even less, since I fear some kind of vendetta comming towards me. Seems like alot of the moderation here also is based upon opinions, rather than following the rules in general. Due to this twisted sense of right and wrong, I will leave the forum. I do enjoy the nexus site itself, alot of nice people there too, so I shall resume posting and publishing mods and such, but I shall make a hasty retreat from the forums. I know some of the moderators here does a great job and such, but some just frightens me since things seems to turn personal, I won't say whom or anything like that, since I am not out to bash anyone. I hope that I won't risk to be banned for this thread since it contains no type of personal attacks or vulgarity, even though I won't be surprised that someone might "Moderate" this thread because of my opinions and previous posts... So goodbye, forums... Well, I'll be off then, it wouldn't surprise me if some people who reads this are eager to leave a few... Colorfull remarks about me... But alas, I will not read them.

Should we be able to use animals in Pharmaceutical reasearch
Lord Garfield replied to rbrophy2's topic in Debates
Being 53, i´m where i have the risk of getting a fatal disease. Still i would stand on my opinion; don´t be cruel to animals. There is also another aspect to this: diseases are here to keep us all down, wether we like it or not. If we can cure all, where will the worldpopulation be in 100 years? And furthermore: we allow bad genes to continue. (Who said that before? Hitler?) Using Hitler as a rolemodel for genetics... Gee... This is... Well... There is a reason why you never see a parrot driving a car, it would be a waste of time to teach it. Just like it would be a waste of time trying to explain to people like you that humans means more to us than rats. My dad died by cancer at your age, and you think that's fair... No offence, but I hate your guts... *Leaves thread* -
Should we be able to use animals in Pharmaceutical reasearch
Lord Garfield replied to rbrophy2's topic in Debates
Only an idiot would ban animal research, I know that terrorists such as PETA makes it sound more like the Spanish Inqusition for rabbits rather than a harmless experiment. I mean, if a few hundred rabbits has to get abit sicky once in a while for a cure for cancer, well then I'd say so be it, I mean, banning animal testing is selfish, "I am nice to the animals because I am not sick myself!", it's more cruel than the experiments themselves, I agree with animal testing, even though that I am like... 55% Hippie accourding to people around me, and I realised so myself too. Banning the ability to save a few million people for the sake of vermin makes no sense, if they aren't drugged up, then someone is whacking them to death with a broom anyways. Look at the people protesting, what do you see? Young and healthy people who acts pretentious to cover up the hollow part where their significance is meant to be. You'd never see a cancer patient stroll along going "Save the vermin! Screw my hope!". Seriously, people who bans medicine makes me sick... In every sense of the sentence... And AlienSlof, isn't it ironic how no matter how much I disagree on your opinion about human rights, that I'd still give my life for your right to have it? You see... Everyone is a human being, and no matter how much of an ass someone is, they should still be able to feel safe going through life... -
I breifley read through the posts, I guess I got here abit late. But has anyone actually checked out the site? It's full of skepticism towards 2012, so I think that some of you may have misjudged it. Still... The site was poorly made, seen better HTML on Myspace...

Good luck with fixing it, I have realised that I kinda suck at anything besides poetry and limericks. Tell me if you need that kind of thing, I can problably summarize alot of lore into a few verses.

Ooooooooh... Paragrahical paradoxes...

I have read alot about Ma'Iq, and accourding to what I know, he's just full of it. But he has a way of being convincing... Why don't you make the book increase speechcraft instead since you learn how to lie rather than any knowledge? >_<
-

Ma'iq...?
-
I do have my own mods, and a website designing gig to bring back some money... I can't just quit those things to write books that I'd never consider reading >_<.
-
I am currently working on a new book, alot bigger than the ones I made before, it will be like a traveler's guide to cyrodil. I call it "Cyrodillia".
-
I won't mind, feel free to do anything besides turning it into a techno remix, I hate those...
-
Erm... I was not really done with it, I added some new things to it since you want my help, some more rhymes and such, I mean, inspiration strook alittle more shortly after, but I can do other things than poems and verses aswell. Journals is not really my thing, I tried it once, but it only lasted for like... Three days. Oh, and I will make a few character bios and some individual verses about each town. I will try to use as many ingame references as possible. Here is the more updated version of One Foggy Morrow: I hope this may be better, feel free to remove some of it in case you feel it breaks the lore. I will come up with a good name for the author later on.
-
Well, I have been known to be abit of a bard back when I did roleplaying, It guess I would be quite refreshing to use that again. I will have a go later on this evening, not sure what to write exactly, mayhap one of those whitty verses that where known to be written back then, or a character biography. I will see what my imagination might bring.

I like the idea, and I would be thrilled to help, but I doubt I would be to much use, I am a tad too Swedish to spell properly on some occassions, but I am decent at writing in case you might need help with that.

There are tutorials for everything, we just pass on what we learned there. Full credits goes to Bethesda for skipping the binary code and encrypted engine, really >_<.

Teaser/Suggestion Thread for Archvillains of Cyrodil.
Lord Garfield replied to Lord Garfield's topic in Oblivion's Discussion
NOTE: I am having some browser problems, so the links might not work, in wich case, use this link to manually browse through the archives, there is four of them: http://oblivionsshost.webs.com/apps/photos/ Once more: Credits to Strangeman for uploading/hosting the screenshots. -
So this is a small teaser/suggestions-thread for my huge project that I am working on: The Archvillains of Cryodil This will feature the following things: New followers and minions. New player homes and features. The ability to own your very own shipyard, castle, island and brewery. Overhauled law enforcement, tons of new guards and military units found in the city, all unique to its city. A second storyline: Choose an alternative fate as the remorseless pscyhopath that killed Uriel Septim (It will cut off the main storyline and let you be able to purchase the evil island known as: Gravekeeper Isle). New weapons, loot, ingredients, alchemy equipment, npcs and scripted features. Description in detail: First off, the storyline. As you rot in that small lonesome cell, you look onto the table, a strange being apears infront of you, it lays a dagger on the table, you hear a voice in your head, your breaths grow louder, louder, the painfull noise in your head drives you to a state of insanity, you hear footsteps comming as you thirst for dragonblood, you quickly grasp the dagger and hide it behind your back as Uriel Septim enters the cell... You can of course choose not to kill him and do this the regular way, but if you choose it, the main quest will be cut off. Storyline - Screenshots: Archive - Storyline Credits to Strangeman for the host. Dwellings: This mod will include two evil lairs, atleast in the first version, might be more later on. First off there is the Reapers Hollow, this place is an evil stronghold held by Lord Mortiallious XIV, an evil genius that whoshipps demons and comitts acts of terror on daily basis, after that a group of holy knights attacks the stronghold, he dies defending it, leaving it open to whomever that seeks to keep it standing, once you have it, it will have purchaseable upgrades that allows you to brew your own blood from human/dremora/argonian hearts that will work as feeding for vampires, it will also include several non-vampire beverages for players of all classes. The following people (and pherhaps some others later on) will be found there: - Niels Horrorforge, the blacksmith. - Gravemaster Dreth Bloodwell, a follower. - Gravekeeper Cultists, respawning followers patroling the area. - Falcus Dreadbutcher, the cook. - Xena Horrorwhisper, A succubus that keeps the house clean and tidy. Reapers Hollow - Screenshots: Archive Then we got Gravekeeper Isle, the most evil place of them all. Once you purchase the port, your ship crewed by undead sailors can take you to Gravekeeper Isle... And some other areas too, but anyhow, once you have sailed there, you will arrive at the haunted island of Gravekeeper Isle, infested by zombies, skeletons and ghosts, looks rather castlevainaish abit, but it also has a laboratory, a study and some other things too, but those shall remain secret so that the mod is not totally spoiled. If you keep the dagger used to kill Uriel, you will also gain access to a hidden feature. Gravekeeper Isle - Screenshots: Archive Now for the description of some of the more misc things. There will be new aparatous and ingredients and such, all of them are taken from real life plants, and they are all deadly poisonous. A crypt will be added too, this crypt will be used as a sleeping quarters for the player, this is the paradise for a vampire player. I will also add a few new races, like a vampire race (That works, hopefully), and an undead race, but not like a rotting zombie, more like a really, really pale fella with nasty necromancer boosts. I also made some of the birthsigns more interesting, they give the player spells that he will progressivley unlock as he/she levels up. Some new tweaks too, like the respawning zombies on Gravekeeper Isle has a zombiefication disease that results in a pretty fast death. This mod is all you need as an evil character... About 40-60% of the mod has been made so far.
-
I am also currently working on a mod for basicly all evil characters, it adds alot of awesome things for vampires too, like crypts to sleep in, and different kinds of blood to drink, like Argonian Blood makes you breathe water, and Dremora Blood fortifies strength...

http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18023 Seems to fit in nicley since it includes a nice set of evuuuuuuuul armor. I will let you know if I find more, but you have certainly put alot of devotion into this, so I have my doubts >_<.
-
You need to extract them from the .bsa archives using BSA commander or a similar program. Huh? not gettin the .bsa unpacker thing http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3311 Open the archive, select the files you want to extract, and extract them to a directory of your choice. That is incredebly unessecary, all you need to do is to use an item as a template. Click it, edit it, type a new item ID, when you then click OK, it will ask you if you want to create a new object, click yes, and there is your item template, then you can simply give it the damage, durability and enchants that you want it to have. In that way, you can use the regular models/meshes and icons without the hassle of extracting, and you won\\\'t have to add the meshes attached with your esp file. You did say you wanted to make your own item, not models, right?

I will have to go with Morrowind, WC3 and Pirates of the Dark Water, the last one is the most classic, it was for SNES, really fun fighting game, I liked how every level had multiple opponents to defeat, kinda like the Arcade Mode in the old Tekken games. http://www.consoleclassix.com/info_img/Pirates_of_Dark_Water_SNES_ScreenShot3.gif
-
Well, we all know that the warriors of steel and horse only wore the armors to get some looks from people before severing their heads... I admire the devotion you put into it, nice work ^^. I will make sure to use it and might even bump it once in a while once I come up with something \"constructive to add to it\", so that I will do it accourding to rules.

I haven\'t played as a vampire too much, but the vile lair is great for vampireism, and maybe you should get one of the millions of mods that makes the human blood potions give vampirism.
