  1. Reloading didn't work, & for some reason most of the NPC vendors in the Well now have bugged dialogue (nothing happens after selecting a dialogue option). Some of them won't initiate dialogue at all, & weirdly the only merchant not affected was the doctor. I'm thinking the game may be struggling to load certain assets, but I don't know why, what might be causing it, or how to fix it.
  2. Update The Well is loading now, but the exterior of Neon has now despawned. I genuinely don't know what I did to change that. Has anyone else ever experienced a problem like this? Maybe know what to do about it?
  3. I don't know why, but the interior (walls, floors, & ceilings) of "The Well" in New Atlantis seems to have despawned for me (like it had been disabled in the console). I already loaded a much earlier save, & it's gone there too. I had definitely visited the Well later in that playthrough, so I figured it must be a mod or game update that got installed between now & then that must be the culprit. Unfortunately I don't know which, & would rather not trail-&-error my way through 100+ mods to find it the hard way. Are there any known mods for Starfield I could have installed to do this? I can't find any info on this bug anywhere. Please help me. Also, if the missing entire interior happens conveniently to have just 1 or 2 object IDs, I would appreciate someone providing it for me, so I could try re-enabling them myself.
  4. Good ideas. Maybe Old Earth weapons, being designed to work exclusively in Earth's atmosphere, might jam up more often if you were to try using them in a vacuum due to cold welding (a real phenomenon where like metals in space will weld themselves together, regardless of temperature, just from touching), but might have faster fire rates than their space-aged counterparts because of having more simplistic designs.
  5. Apparently someone already managed it. Check out "Constellation Signage and posters" and "YIGH - Your Image Goes Here" from Talismancer.
  6. I think ot would be really cool to have quests that let you add/lose traits, like (for example) a John Wick style quest to find the person who put a bounty on you to get rid of the Wanted perk. Also some more crew related quests (like the ones with the main 4 Constellation members), like taking Marika Boros around to various cities & outposts to fulfill the desire she voiced to learn how to run her own settlement one day. Finally, we need some cool space mysteries (like the "spacial anomalies" & stuff like in sci-fi shows like Star Trek).
  7. I don't know about before, but once the CK is out, maybe. I mean if followers with ambient interactions has been done already in Skyrim & Fallout 4, I don't see why it can't eventually come to Starfield. Only question is how long until it gets done. Months? Years? Who knows?
  8. Ya, it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense that old relics like "Old Earth" guns are still being used (except maybe with the crew of the ECS Constant since it's a generational colony ship), but I don't think being 'just as good' is the point of them. Sure futuristic laser, particle, caseless, & MAK guns would obviously outperform them, but I always assumed that the "Old Earth" guns are still around not because they were so good, but because they were so ubiquitous. Like for instance, if there were an "Old Earth Sword", it would probably be a military/cavalry saber simply because nearly every modern military since the 1700s has had one as part of dress/parade uniform, despite the fact that they would have no place in modern warfare. That's why I figured the Lee Enfield and Benelli make more sense than what the vanilla game uses (some obscure integrally supressed Soviet sniper rifle as a "Hunting Rifle", & for the Old Earth Shotgun we get some silly hodgepodge of a Remington 870, Mossberg 500, & God only knows what else, lol)
  9. (inspired by the Skyrim mod Scenic Carriages) Add a new load cell for mid grav-jump (like hyperspace or warp in other sci-fi) so grav-jumping is no longer instantaneous (& therefore should feel less like fast-travel). Sleeping or waiting (can be done while in pilot's seat) will exit "grav-space" (or whatever you want to call it) at your destination. Would also be cool if you could have some encounters & random sci-fi themed events occur along your journey.
  10. Add ambient dialogue amongst the various crew you can assign to outposts and ships. It just kinda feels creepy how your crew are always just standing around not speaking to each other at all (except Sam & Cora, but why should they be the exceptions?)
  11. Replace the Old Earth hunting rifle & shotgun with the Lee Enfield L8 (one of the longest serving battle rifles in history) and the Benelli M4 (most commonly used shotty for police & militaries worldwide). The Ak-47/74 and M1911 I think make alot more sense, so they don't need replacing in my opinion. I think some more weapon mods for them might also be called for (muzzle devices, stocks, sights, action, etc).
  12. Add a personal terminal to the decorations menu that you could use to listen to news broadcasts, access all the menus for the various mission boards/bounty kiosks, or contact (enter dialogue/trade remotely) some of your favorite merchants & certain important quest-givers.
  13. Add a communications panel (like the ones used in certain quests for the UC Vanguard and Crimson Fleet) that you can place on walls with the decorating menu When activated it'll pull up a menu of all the current crew for that ship or outpost, & selecting one of them would allow you to enter dialogue/trade with them without having to run around trying to find them.
  14. I'm trying to make my own custom race for oblivion. I already have a detailed lore-friendly backstory, body meshes, textures, and some special powers. The thing is, I'm running into some trouble. The race I'm making is supposed to be a kind of silver tiger cat creature that (because of their lore) are really powerful warriors and know really powerful "unusual magicks" (i.e: scripted spells). Anyway, the hair mesh that I'm looking for is kind of an anime-ish spikey slicked back hair style with a ponytail coming out of the neck and going down just past the small of the back, with just a little bit of bangs (like Captain Hitsugaya from Bleach or Hiei from Yu Yu Hakisho, but with a ponytail as well). Attached to this is a concept art picture of the race I'm trying to make. Here are links to three more pictures just for added detail: Capt Hitsugaya picture DBZ Trunks picture Hiei picture Secondly, I was planning on trying to make a custom scripted spell called "Short Circuit" that could activate levers, pressure plates, buttons, and tripwires at a distance. I thought I could do this, but I just can't think of a way without it activating doors, beds, chests, plants, etc as well. Also I would need it to effect the appropriate activators from "non-vanilla" oblivion sources. All I need is the script for this spell. Lastly, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to merge mods together, like so that I could take the npcs from one mod and change them all to being from my race mod (without having to entirely remake one of the mods inside the other). Oh, and while this is not what I originally asked, If anyone knows of a good cat creature head mesh and texture that would look sort of like my first picture, but maybe have a little bit of a built in beard like in the pic link below: Scar picture Thank you
