  1. Oh it's really that simple? I thought it would recalculate all LOD and be incompatible with almost any other mod editing the worldspace (it is primarily for personal use after all). Thanks a lot, I'll try it!
  2. Hello. I'm fairly new to modding, but still familiar with the basics of the creation kit, some scripting, and level design. My mod is coming along quite nicely. The only problem I'm having right now is when trying to regenerate LOD for the cells I've edited. I tried the feature included in the CK, but it failed with this error: "Data\Meshes\LOD\Mountains\MountainRidge02_LOD_1.nif" I googled it, and was suggested to use OScape, however, this tool only seems to support the older Skyrim version. Also, there is no documentation or tutorial on this tool whatsoever, if you can believe that! I've also tried the "SSELODGen" tool on the SSE nexus, but this seemingly regenerates and improves all LOD for the entire worldspace with all the mods currently in the load order taken into account, and this will of course lead to major compatibility issues. Generally there seems to be little to no guidance on this topic, and I'm kind of lost right now. Any help would be of great use. Thanks in advance!
  3. Oh, wow, I can't believe I didn't think of that! Thanks!
  4. I've been using the creation kit for a while now, and currently I'm a few weeks into a mod. I'm used to clicking "Yes to all" to the usual errors occurring when I load the masterfile, and upon loading a cell. But recently, I seem to be getting a lot more errors, and not in the usual way. Lots and lots of errors come popping up in a new "Warnings" window, which I think was introduced in a recent update. Either way, I haven't seen it ever before. The problem with this is that none of these errors seem to be known by my best pal google, and the window they pop up in is incredibly annoying. When editing exterior cells, for instance, a slight camera movement can lead to the camera hovering into another cell, and this window pops up. Even when placing an object it pops up. Practically, everything I do causes this warning window to popup, placing objects, editing them, setting linked refs. These are seriously slowing down the modding process. http://i.imgur.com/mzm3ssJ.png In addition to these kinds of errors, 5 of these are spewed out whenever I save my plugin: http://i.imgur.com/ouTMzgb.png If anyone can help me fixing these issues, or preventing the warnings window to pop up, it would be great! I really want to get this update out around Christmas, but these errors are slowing me down to a crawl.
  5. Hello! So I've been having this problem recently where the quest marker on the compass shows up in the wrong direction. The marker on the map still works correctly, but on the compass it seems to point to somewhere in Hjaalmarch, near Morthal, or maybe Ustengrav. What I think is kind of funny is that I first noticed this problem just after getting the greybeard quest to go to Ustengrav. Of course, I don't have that quest active, "The Black Star" was in fact active when I first noticed it. The pointer should have pointed to lake ilinalta, but instead pointed towards Hjaalmarch as mentioned. Right now, I'm experiencing the issue for the second time in a short period. This time I am to return to Falkreath for a misc quest. What's weird is that every other quest seems to work just fine. I tried disabling and enabling countless other quests and they all pointed in the right direction. It's just this one misc quest (and earlier it was the black star quest). First off, I guessed that the game somehow thought I was inside Ustengrav or something, but if that were the case, wouldn't every other quest also point in that direction? I'm thinking that one of my mods somehow messed with the main quest, but I have so many of them! This isn't really a big issue - I'll just have to look on my map like any hardcore player - but I figured I'd post a thread here in case someone else encounters the same issue.
  6. Aah, so it's the Book Covers mod. I'll have to wait for that patch then. Thanks!
  7. Hello After modding the game a bit, I've now noticed that some letters have really small text, and actually just fill up half of the page. Instead of writing all the way to the end of the page, the text cuts off halfway down, and proceeds on the next page. It does not, however, seem to affect books at all, and interestingly also not a letter that it part of a mod ("The forgotten city"). My problem is that I can't seem to figure out which mod is the source of the issue. Mods I have that modify letters and text are "No more laser-printed Book" and the "Sovngarde" font. Disabling any or both of them doesn't seem to make a difference at all, the text still only covers half the page. So if anyone has/has had this problem, I would appreciate any help troubleshooting this issue. If not, I'll just have to live with it - it's not the biggest deal in the world, just a bit annoying.
