  1. I don't know, but some might not have noticed that you only deleted the files labeled XBO or XBOX... I personally don't think you'll leave, you are too much of a modding addict to leave. But I also would totally understand it if you leave. This situation is just sad.
  2. I feel like I really should try to figure out the communication between the client and bethnet. Find out how the downloading of mods works. And then write a f****** client that allows PC users to DL xbox mods without owning an xbox. Probably not gonna be able to do it, but I want to try it at least.
  3. Just quickly tested something by changing the download link you get from "Download manually". Replaced the http with https. This is the error I get: https://i.imgur.com/6rfjyj2.png (Sorry for the german. It basically says that the SSL cert is not valid for the current domain [filedelivery.nexusmods.com].) Maybe it helps. Maybe I'm just telling you something obvious. But better this way then not say something.
  4. Nice, going to give it a try if I start to use settlements. My current char... well, she's not the kind of person staying in one place for too long. It's too dangerous!
  5. Well, if you got something done why not upload it? Help others like me who tried to use blender and failed massively.
  6. I know I'm late to the party, but I'd still like to offer help with creating a website. I am currently working my way back into creating websites (i learned it back with html4....), so don't expect me to be a professional. (Current WIP: jasch.io/feinripp) Personally I love the idea of having a website dedicated to "How to create Mods for FO4". When I created my mod for FNV I found it sometimes difficult to find anything about how to do what I wanted to do. A few things I think the website would benifit from: - As light as possible. We don't need a lot of images. Only have images if they are required. - Responsive Design. It's always nice if you can use the site on your phone too. - Ask mod authors that are really good in specific things to write about them. I took a look at your source code. A few things: * Use html5. It is generally supported. Use tags like <header>, <nav>,... instead of <div id="nav">. You can access them in CSS3 with header {}, nav {}. You are already using canvas, why not use the rest of html5? * Try to avoid fixed width/height. It makes scaling harder. Responsive design would be the best choice. * Try unnecessary ellements like the top animation. It distracts from the purpose of the site. Generally ask you one question: What does the user want? It's not about what you want, but about what the users you want to have on the page want. A question I have: what do you need bootstrap and jQuery for?
  7. I would recommend approaching DDproductions with this. He is currently adding pretty much everything BGS missed to include in the settlement building. His profile link: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/user/8671518-ddproductions83/
  8. Hello guys, I did a quick google search if there already existed a thread like this and didn't find any. If there is, please point it out to me and close/remove this post. So, we have Fallout 4. And we have a voiced protagonist. With a very strict background story. But we could actually fix this! With the voiced protagonist. Every NPC in FO4 has a voice. If you see two NPCs talking you just expect them to both have a voice. Now what would happen if the sole survivor was a NPC? Well, not much. In skyrim we would have had a lot of silence from the dragonborn. But not in fallout 4! The sole survivor can talk. So he/she can be a normal NPC! You could play as someone completly different. But the story would still go on. Because the sole survivor exists and talks. You could have a mod that allows you to control the story, you influence the sole survivor to do the things the way you would like it. One issue would be interaction with the sole survivor/other NPCs. But at least for the sole survivor we have so many lines of dialogue that it might be possible to create new lines! I don't know nearly enough about modding to be able to do this. But I want to throw out this idea, want to see the opinions of others, the problems with my idea. Greetings, Jasch
  9. In response to post #31660700. #31662030, #31663985 are all replies on the same post. Troy Hunt, the guy running the site, is not an unkown person in the information security scene. https://mvp.microsoft.com/en-us/PublicProfile/4031649?fullName=troy%20hunt
  10. May I recommend contacting https://haveibeenpwned.com/ about adding the emails from the dump to the list? It is a service that allows you to see if your email has been in any data breach they know of.
  11. Nice to see that not only mod authors (site says im one now too o.O) are participating in a survey but are only 8%. People really care about what is going on. :)
