  1. been messing around with 5+ group spots with the console commands... on almost every boss fight there is some barrier or door or partition that prevents you from running away from the fight. In each case that same barrier prevents the extra characters from entering. While boss fights teleport the 4 main group slots into the fight area, ive noticed the extra guys will stay where you put them, so if you can walk them into the fight area before triggering the cutscene (Jarvia fight in Orz for example) they will be there when the cutscene ends. On fights like the Broodmother and Uldred there wasn't a way to get the extra characters within the partition before triggering the cutscene so they were stuck outside. IDK if anyone is planning to do anything with this in terms of an actual mod, but if they do I hope some of these observations will be useful.
  2. Some things i noticed messing around with 5 characters: Some fights, the 5th character will spawn outside the battle area. If they're an archer rogue or a mage they can still be effective, but melee would be screwed. Examples of this: the boss fight at the top of the mage tower, the Zevran Ambush, the Witherfang Fight. In the Witherfang fight, my rogue was able to unlock the door that separated her from the rest of the group, which was cool. The 5th character doesn't follow the rest of the group as closely and tends to lag back for some reason. This may be the reason for the 'battle lockout' issue. In the Fade boss fight, the 5th character wouldn't appear at all.
  3. Am I the only one who found DOA to be really deserted near the end of the game? Even the random encounters between locations are almost all based on story-driven events. It would be nice if there were more random encounters that occurred independent of the storyline, or maybe just a zone you could go into that featured several tough, respawning enemies. Hopefully this is an idea that others are interested in as well.
  4. The 'bugs' in the game atm are small ones that you might not even notice unless youre looking for em. Things like abilities not WAI, broken gear set bonuses, damage coefficients from attributes, etc. Its definitely playable.
  5. Id love to see a mod like this, id definitely use it.
