  1. SUCCESS!! A dummy called "Legotrash" changed the id of the base instead of the existing,in-game,form! :facepalm:

    I can't believe i pulled off such a miracle,many,MANY thanks to all of you for your replies! :thumbsup: One more reason to love TheTalkieToaster's CSR mod! :D

    Case Solved!

  2. Man,i found it!Thank you!The "SQV aaaSquadPeriod" command did it!

    The bad news though are that i edited my npc's id and i get the same results.Is the fact that some details about her are different?Do i have to make everything identical (initial inventory,spells etc)?

    There has to be a way,we managed to get the ID after all! :wallbash:

    Edit: Btw,the aaasquad command worked too but it gave me only the remaining leader's ID.

  3. Thank you Talkie for your reply!

    About the load order,wrye bash shows it,can't that be enough? :( What is the way of fishing it out?I'll give it a shot.

    Edit to add: I also wanted to ask,the heads up that CSR gives about the missing squadleader couldn't give me the ID somehow?I looked up for types of debug texts but i found nothing i could use.This might be stupid but i wouldn't even call myself an amateur. :sweat:

  4. Thanks Nephenee for letting me know! I might give standalone version another shot later.(nothing goes right for me,that's too typical >_>)

    About the NPC: I have the feeling (or you could call it "hope") that the ID could be found in the save file.Toaster's CSR gives me the persistent "red squadleader has vanished" after all.It recognizes that a speciffic NPC was a squadleader and that now is missing so that makes me thing that the ID has to be in there somewhere.

    That being said,i wonder if i have to remake the NPC exactly as she was because,if that's the case,i don't think i can do that.Can anyone tell me if it's a must to have identical inventories,spells,AI packs (it's only natural that i'll be off in the details of them)?If "yes",would those differences matter if i'd find the NPC's ID (i want to believe in miracles)?Excuse me if those are silly questions. :sweat:

    Any help would be truly welcome.Help,suggestions,anything really.

  5. Once again,thank you very much for the reply!I'd give you kudos but it takes me to skyrim's page. :huh:

    I didn't mention one thing: In one of my old saves my PC was using that NPC's custom race and after some trial and error,the new custom race that i remade works and that save loads (and there's no way it has the same id as the old one).Just in case it'll help people somehow.Hope dies last,right? :sweat:

  6. Ok,for some reason i can't retrieve the face from my save file.I'm using the 295.5 python version of wrye bash and i get this:

    Traceback (most recent call last):

    File "D:\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Mopy\bash\basher.py", line 12802, in Execute

    srcFace = bosh.PCFaces.save_getFace(srcInfo)

    return PCFaces.save_getPlayerFace(saveFile)

    namePos = PCFaces.save_getNamePos(saveFile.fileInfo.name,data,saveFile.pcName)

    I think i could definatelly use the way Striker879 was talking about.If anyone could help it'd be great.

    About my problem in the OP:could it be possible to find the formid via the save file somehow?Sorry but i had to ask.Also,since i'm using toaster's share and recruit,i'm getting "red squaleader has vanished" and i was hoping that could give me some kind of a reference but it shows nothing when i open the console.Just in case anyone knows a trick about that.

  7. I have a save where i first made her as a PC so i'm covered from that aspect.It's pretty interesting though to know that even without it i could recover the face.

    Thanks a bunch man.

    *sigh* why didn't i make a freakin back up... xP

  8. I'm trying to remake a custom companion i had (i've lost everything i had in my computer and the only thing i had backed up was my save files) but now when i load an old savefile she appears as a "new" NPC.Isn't it possible to remake that specific NPC (with all the loot and items she had) by remaking the .esp's?
  9. I've tweaked dude2000's HGEC Fighter Growing Pubic Hair mod so NPCs wont be changed (the original contains the "YoungerHotterNPC" mod which changes NPCs faces).The problem is that he hasn't logged in for about a year now (i sent him a message,just in case,in February but offcourse i got no reply) so i can't get his permission for it.Can i upload it anyway?If "yes",please let me know what should i choose under "Permissions and credits" since things are a bit confusing with the original modder being away and all that.

    Keep in mind that if i'll get the "green light" the original mod will be a requirement so the original modder can get his credit which he deserves (even if he wont return).

    Thank you.
