I realise this forum doesn't really seem to get a lot of traffic anymore but True Prisoners doesn't work and the version a kind soul complied in the comments doesn't work for myself or others either. My game has bugged out a bit. I think due to the AI command mod allowing leaders of other parties of my army to take noble prisoners, but then not being able to take them off of them (this feature is currently bugged). I had a huge fight taking their city of Tyal, during which I fought more nobles than I could care to count, they just kept coming and now a bunch of Sturgian Nobles (who I am 99% sure I fought and my party members took prisoner during this big battle) are no longer spawning in game, despite me being at war with them. These nobles are all listed as being last seen at Varnovapol but are not there, I own all the default Sturgian territories now. I am constantly attacked by the same Nobles and merc clans who I then imprison, then they escape, 5 mins later they attack me again with a new army. I tried a mod allowing my brothers and sisters to marry these bugged nobles into my clan, but they are just listed as prisoner and are not where the encyclopedia says they are. (Usually Razih) I've tried the telepathy mod and they just have the dialogue lines used by someone who has been taken prisoner. I have tried using the dev console to move the NPCs who appear to have bugged out to my party, as my prisoner but it said NPC unable to be moved. As a last ditch effort of trying to find a way to rescue the game I was hoping to be able to take the nobles that are in game prisoner indefinitely and see if any other Sturgians attack, if not at least I know for sure they are bugged and I will start to kill them off with the dev console. To do that I was hoping someone who has the know how could make a mod that is nowhere as in depth as True Prisoners (which isn't currently working) that literally just removes the escape chance for AI prisoners so I can store up all the ones I know still work and then release them back into the wild once I've dealt with the bugged ones

Pip Boy Colour (On Avatar not menu screen)
nwmGregM replied to nwmGregM's topic in Fallout 4's Mod Ideas
Ok first off. Awesome, thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthan. Secondly, with regards to compression I am getting the following options, am I correct in using BC3 / DXT5? http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i308/Tevez_2006/rsz_1dxt5.png Lastly it would seem that by changing that file the background colour of the pip-boy menu changes too. So at first I had a very very blue menu screen. If I changed the Pip-Boy colours in the game settings the background would stay blue but the details (map locations, text etc) would change to the new colour i.e. I could have red map markers on a blue background. I'm currently going through some trial and error to get a good set up. -
Hello, So I can change the colour of my Pip Boy menu screen, and thats great, now when I hit Tab I have blue menus and not the default green. But when I come out of the menu and run around the world the Pip Boy screen on my characters arm is green. I'd like a mod that would make it blue. If anyone has the time / inclination to do that, that'd be awesome and I'd say thankyou 18 and a half times. Cheers Greg

Bioware working on Creation Kit?
nwmGregM replied to m3dicat3d's topic in Dragon Age: Inquisition's Discussion
Is this the same as the "If you don't have a facebook, you don't exist" theory? As for DA:I tools itself, its very exciting to see some of the best modders (lets face it, ~the~ best :P ) working on something like this. The things some people have done with Skyrim are, simply put, amazing. Maybe I'm in a nostalgic mood or something, but it really does give you faith in humanity to see communities like Nexus as opposed to some of the scary internet world out there :D -
Bioware working on Creation Kit?
nwmGregM replied to m3dicat3d's topic in Dragon Age: Inquisition's Discussion
Then that article is completely inacurate. Hardly a shocker that something written on the internet isn't true, but it does say that it is being made by Bioware. Unless I am missing something? "developer BioWare announced that the third installment of its hit action-packed role player game will become moddable soon" "BioWare is planning to come up with a toolkit similar to "Skyrim's" Creating Kit that allows players to make and share contents with other gamers with a click of a button" -
I'm gutted that there is no official toolkit for DA:I. I realise it has something to do witht his whole Frostbite engine, but I was hoping they would learn from Skyrim. That game is still one of Steam's top sellers three years down the line and a lot of it is down to how amazing the mod scene is. I guess I can settle for texture mods, but I can't help but sigh at what could of been with some of the amazing modders on Nexus alone. Still having a blast playing DA:I though :D

I spent a long time searching for this and cannot find any mods like it. QaL allows you to multiclass but as far as I can tell (Ive not got too far in I guess) you do not get your multiclasses specs. For example I am a warrior who multi classed into rogue but I can still only take Champion, Templar, Reaver and Beserker at level up. I would like to be able to select from Duelist, Assassin etc as well . Not getting my hopes up as it seems the modding scene for DA:O is slowing down, but maybe the recent sales on Steam and Origin will bring some people (like myself) back and I would really love these changes :D -Greg

I have searched around a fair bit, and I found plenty of mods for hair textures. The problem is the all focus on longer hair, my current characters hair is one of the very short cropped styles, almost bald, and its just not up to scratch. I was wondering if anyone had found something like a 1 or even 2k texture. Thanks for any help -Greg

Need this myself. I'm having issues with Sounds of Skyrim needing to use SPO as a master .esp when trying to run the reproccer for skyre and the patcher for dual sheath redux.

Thank you for the suggestions and help so far. I can now work with custom races so thats a plus. Thank you Groucho. Also thank you for the clarification on permissions Oubliette. I looked at creating my own race but I have no intention of creating a custom race from scratch. I tried changing the skin in traits but it would not work. If I loaded the custom imperial, the head options were severely limited (including a lack of eyebrows for whatever reason) but he had the tattoo. I don't know what was to blame here as I made Bob by starting a new game in skyrim and selecting Custom Imperial Race. Then I made Bobs face and used SPF Bob in the console. However when I imported it into the CK on the Custom Imperial Race he reverted back to vanilla imperial. If I then changed him back to Custom Imperial he would lose all his facial features. As I said he would however have the tattoo. But.. If I loaded the vanilla Imperial race and gave him the CustomImperialSkin (which had the tattoo texture on) it showed no tattoo. I have since given up on using the Custom Races mod linked above for Bob as for whatever reason it was causing my game to slow down significantly. I tested a couple of times but it was definitely that mod. (I have since downloaded 2 other mod made races and my game still runs perfectly) So I took Oubliette's advice and downloaded the Ashen race. Unfortunately the Ashen do not have their own body texture like the custom race imperial did so the only way to get the tattoo to show is to put it on all the male characters in the game again. I tried adding the texture to the Ashen in their own textures file (under oriental) but of course it didn't work so I assume that the Ashen race simply uses the default Nord body. (or all non beast races use the same body texture / mesh i guess) Well I've spent far too long on this now, so unless anyone has a simple solution on how to add a body texture to one NPC without giving the whole world one I am going to admit defeat. For the time being I am just going to work on Bob and hope I can one day solve the tattoo problem. As always if anyone can give me any advice or insights I would very very much appreciate it. (Apart from telling me I'm not cut out for this creation kit thing, I already know that! but I do have some wonderful story ideas Id like to see come to fruition) Greg

Hi, I have a tendency to ramble so I will try and keep this as direct and short as I can, I don't want to seem rude though as I do need the help. I'm new to modding, I've been using the CK for about 12 hours (straight...) now. It turns out I'm not very good at it. I'd also like to point out I have spent a lot of time searching google for my answers and I have not found anything conclusive so I really am at the point where I have to ask for help or give up. Here are the key things I need advice on right now. 1. Permissions As far as I can tell, I only need permission to use other peoples mods if I plan to upload the final result to the nexus? (or steam though I doubt I'll be using that) I have no plans to upload anything for some time, and it's very unlikely my first mods will be uploaded due to them being no where the quality of other mods already available. It also seems to me that it would be a waste of modders time if they had 100 requests for permission a day if only 1 or 2 people a week ever actually make something they upload. Everything I make will be for personal use, and I promise to tell myself who deserves credit for the awesome mods that I have used in some way. 2. Creating a Follower with a custom race and mod merging This has been my biggest battle so far. From what I gather I need to turn my Custom Race file (in this case Custom Imperial from the Custom Races mod by d_rail1602 located here) into a master file or tat least use it as a master file for my follower .esp. I have done that using Wyre Bash and selecting my follower esp, lets call it Bob.esp and adding CustomRaces.esp as a master. From then on CustomRaces.esp must be loaded above Bob.esp I believe? Then I open up my Bob.esp (as the active file) with Custom Races.esp which should now be acting as a master and in the object panel, I select races, right click Custom Imperial and duplicate it. I I then have CustomImperialDUPLICATE001, which is what I set Bob's race to. That is as far as I have gotten with this, and I have a feeling I am still missing quite a bit. I just know the next time I close and reopen the CK then load the Bob.esp he will be a Fox again... 3. Texture change for a single NPC You may have wondered, (if your still reading that is, I appreciate that by the way. If you can get to my local pub tonight I'll buy you a beer) why I would want a custom race that is exactly the same as the vanilla imperial race. It's simple, there are a few different tattoo mods out there, but they all have the same thing in common, they change the texture for every NPC. I actually managed to figure out (an achievement in itself) that changing the texture for Custom Imperial bodies only, will only show up on Custom Imperial NPCs and PCs, meaning Bob would have a great tattoo, but not every other Male Imperial in the game would. It just doesn't feel like Tuillius' style to be rocking up some tribal ink. Then, while typing the above, I wondered if I could just use the standard Imperial race for Bob and change his personal body texture without affecting the other imperial npcs. Thats it for now, ( I have already learnt how to put custom armor into the mod and turn it into a default outfit, go me!) I would very very very much appreciate any help, I've got some good ideas rattling around in my head but it appears I do not have the talent to unleash them. Thanks in advance Greg

Hi, If anyone has the know how / inclination I was wondering if they could make a Plugin for the Lustmord armor Located here Located here so that I can use it properly using SkyRe. I, and I am sure many others, would very much appreciate it, I did look at doing it myself but honestly I am not very good with these things and would almost certainly balls it up :D Thanks for any help Greg
