  1. I'm playing Fallout 4 in VR using an app called Vorpx. It's looks great, but one big problem is that the hands and weapons in first person looks huge. How hard would it be to make a mod that shrinks the first person meshes and textures? How would one go about doing it? What are you suggested tutorials or tips on how to do this? A second option would be to turn them invisible to make it horrendus.
  2. Yeah, it helps, but it still looks like I'm carrying a pistol the size of a tree trunk. It just takes up less of the screen. And the aiming is still terrible. Another and even better fix would be to shrink the first person meshes and textures.
  3. The hand models are way too big, when playing in VR using Vorpx. Of course I'd prefer Enhanced Camera or Joy of Perspective, but this is the next best thing. And no I will not wait for the officiel VR that is not coming to the Rift, because of very probable lack of mods.
  4. Hi, I got am getting pretty annoyed by the secondary colors being tied to hats and thought it might be a good place to start learning how to mod as it shouldn't be that complicated. Does anyone know how I would go about acquiring the skill to do this. I don't know any coding language, but I am fairly good at learning new software tools, because I have some experience with different programs like 3ds max, pro tools, premiere pro and after effects. What I want to do is make a seperaty coloring menu for hats in the costumization menu, just as the guns have. Hope you can give me some tips :)
  5. My biggest issue with this is not that you have to pay for the mods, but fact that Valve wants to cash in other peoples hard work. Work that could easily be distributed through other sources like the nexus. If most of money went to the mod makers I would have less of a problem with it. When the dust settles, it' might be time for the nexus made a counter offer to modders to keep the power in the hands of the consumer and the developer and not in the greasy mits of a big cooperations like Valve. Maybe just a button you'd have to tick off to not make a donation, or something similar.
  6. I'm not sure yet. I'm gonna start a base game with your overhaul (maskar's overhaul), OOO, deadly reflex, midas magic, OCO v2, unique landscapes, unoffialial patches, better cities, basic needs, quarlstextures, Landscape lod generator, and then add a few mods at a time, when I've played a few hours and tested stability. I've also considered FCOM 1.0 instead, but I'm leaning towards a simpler and more stable setup. I can't say for sure what I will install, but it would mostly be graphic mods (Textures/meshes/all natural/immersive interiors), quest mods and mods that fixes smaller things or enhances immersion in minor ways, like crime fixes, a camping mod or cloaks. Anything from this list really: http://www.reddit.com/r/oblivion/wiki/index/mods I am not gonna install giant mods like MMM or open cities mid playthorugh.
  7. Hi, How risky is it to install and remove mods midway through a playthrough in Oblivion? I know it not a problem to install mods on a save in Skyrim with 99% of the mods. Is it the same with Oblivion or is more prone to save corruption? Is it okay to remove mods in Oblivion? is it only a problem with mods that add scripts like in Skyrim? How would you test stability on a large load order with mods like fcom, better cities and unique landscapes and more?
  8. Nice guide, but not quite what I was asking for though. I found out that Oscuro's is still being updated, and is compatible with a new mod called maskar's overhaul, so that what I'm going for, and maybe I'll put deadly reflex on top of it and see how it goes. Thanks anyway :)
  9. Hi, I've considered restarting an oblivion playthrough soon and wanted to know which gameplay overhauls are worth playing these days. Is it still FCOM or has something better and more compatible turned up?
  10. Thanks, saw it just a minutte before i read this.
  11. Hi, I'm looking for a mod that makes creatures tougher. I play with PerMa, deadly dragons and OBIS, but the problem is that though Bandits and dragons are quite tough, I cut through every other creature like they were pastry. Encounter Zones wouldn't fix this unless it was made specificly to toughen dungeons without bandits, but that would give alot of other problems. Best solution would be something that boosts creature health.
  12. Thanks, I've thought of doing looking into geck scripting to solve this problem too.
  13. Hi, I've got a really bad texture problem in my game. Some times the lod texture doesn't change and just stays there with high res textures giving of and awful flickering effect. Anyway to fix it? I've got nmc's texture pack installed.
