Hello, I just installed my old Legendary Version of Skyrim in a new computer, and I'm working real hard on installing my beloved mods one by one. Sadly I noticed that mods like "Better Messagebox Control", "Better Dialogue Controls", "loot Menu" and others (all .SWF files in the interface folder) were not working. They are working perfectly fine in my old and slow windows 7 computer, and I copy/paste the files into my Skyrim SE interface folder and they work just fine. This is a fresh Skyrim Legendary install in windows 10, on a secondary driver where my mods and all my skyrim related programs are located (also Skyrim SE). I uninstalled and deleted everything on the skyrim folder, reinstalled Skyrim again and tested the mods without installing anything else like SKSE and still nothing. Can someone help with this please?

SSE Amazing Follower Tweaks MCM Version SSE conversion?
alfredini posted a topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Hello I have been using this mod ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/71022 ) since it was uploaded to the nexus, and now that SKSE for SSE is out I wonder if someone could port it. I have no idea how to do it otherwise i would give it a try. Thank you -
What's a good pc to have for the ultimate realistic skyrim?

Since a better PSU is my next upgrade, could you guys recommend one that could play well with my current specs plus maybe a GTX1080ti (more like the next after that one call it gtx1090 maybe?) in the future? -

My Alienware arrived 1 week ago and I'm really enjoying it. I know it's a prebuilt rig, but I opened it and tangled with for a bit (definitely not an expert) and it seems like the kind of machine that can be customized. Specs as bought: Intel i8700 4.6Ghz GTX 1080 8g GDDR5x 16g ram 2666 (2x8) SSD 260 1tb HDD 7200 Water Coolant (just got it cuz it was cheap and thinking on future updates) PSU 460 w. I also got the Dell S2716DGR monitor and I really like it, though I've never had an IPS. Also got me a G810 keyboard and G502 mouse. So far so good, playing SSE with no issues whatsoever, but I'm yet to mod the game. Already added a Corsair MX300 525Gb SSD as my game installation drive. On a side note, with the rewards cash i got from Dell by buying the Rig from them, I bought a 2Tb Firecuda SSHD ST2000DX002 to replace my current 1tb HDD. Now to figure out what to do with the 1tb has the Rig has only 1 slot for 3.5" drives. I've been visiting PCpartpicker.com often for info, and also checking on Aurora RIG upgrades. My next goal is to get a PSU of 650w or higher, then will see what happens from there. -

Thank you DaddyDirection and Jones177, after reading your messages I decided to stick with the dell s2716dg (A07, newest revision). I got my logitech g502 and g810 already, now i'm only waiting on the actual PC to arrive, then i'll be able to test everything together. I connected the monitor to my gaming laptop (poor thing is old now, has a gtx560m) and to my simple desktop using HDMI and didn't even get the 1440p resolution in the options, not a chance to test g-sync of course. Once my gaming PC arrives i'll test everything together, and start planning my first upgrades. -

Oh, I just bought the dell S2716DGR, just picked it up and got it for $400. Went for a 1440 144hz g-sync thinking it would last me at least 5 years, didn;t even know about VA monitors. Now I have another itch that needs scratching haha. Do you think G-sync is important? What monitor did you buy? -

I bought the Dell Alienware rig. 0% interest at 18 months is very attractive, but i'm keeping my eyes open for better deals tomorrow on cyber Monday and also for the end of year sales, as supposedely i can return the computer in 30 days after delivery. I can see now that the sale is over, the link is dead. I'm eyeballing g-sync monitors, i saw a nice Dell 27" 1ms g-sync monitor for 400usd, 2560 x 1440 at 144Hz, but i'm not sure that resolution is a good idea with the computer i bought: GTX 180 17 8700 4.6 ghz PSU 460 w 16 G ram I don't know if i can play at normal 1080p with this monitor, but it looks nice. Can a monitor like this be player on more common 1440P pr 144hz at 1080? This is the link. https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-27-gaming-monitor-s2716dg/apd/210-agjr/monitors-monitor-accessories https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Gaming-S2716DG-LED-Lit-Monitor/dp/B0149QBOF0/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1511745579&sr=1-4&keywords=27+inch+gaming+monitor+g+sync OG now i'm completely torn between a 1080p or 1440p monitor with the rig i got. -

Wow you gotta have a beast of a PC!! I'm planning to upgrade the PC if I decide to keep it. First thing I'll do is the ram, probably another 16g. I'll also get a better SSD, maybe 1T but they are still expensive. I'll keep the small one for booting only and work related documents. Maybe the Hard drive for pictures and videos. The power supply worries me too, even more now that you mentioned about the 1080 overclocking itself, maybe that'll be my second upgrade after the ram. It seems that this Alienware Aurora PC has limitations to upgrade the MOBO, but everything else can be upgraded, I think. What would you do with the spare parts after you upgraded them, like the PSU? -

The i5 8400 and GTX 1060 3GB CyberPower Desktop I linked at the time I'm making this comment seems to be in stock. Out of all the pre-built desktops linked it's probably the best value per dollar. The biggest benefit being that you're on Intel's latest platform. The i7 7700K is aging pretty fast, and in a few years will be pretty obsolete. You cannot upgrade to Coffee Lake using the Kaby Lake motherboard which is what the 7700K uses (as it's part of the Kaby Lake CPU family). That i5 8400 machine comes with a Z370 motherboard as well, which means later down the road you could very easily upgrade to an i7 8700K (or even the i7 from the next Intel generation) and be happy with that. In other words, it is a good PC for not only right now - but it also has a future upgrade path. It's a better investment in my opinion. You will want to add a second 8GB stick of RAM to it though. 16GB's is becoming the new minimum requirement for PC gaming. While your system can compress the memory usage to try and fit it on 8GB's, it will be smoother with a 16GB machine. Hello. Thank you for all the information you gave me. It helped me so much to get the idea of what was good and what i wanted. I decided to buy this configuration from Dell because it seemed cheap even when comparing to similar models here and there and also while playing with partspicker.com. It's not the last word, the computer is supposed to ship in 2 weeks, so I could cancel anytime if i find something better (cybermonday lol), but they have a 0% interest for 18 months that was hard to beat. I'll leave the link in case you have a chance to take a look and give me your opinion. If you can't i understand of course. Thank you DadyDirection. http://deals.dell.com/productdetail/oxw -

That's fine too. Both are very small screens - so whichever is cheaper should be the one to go for. The desktop options may be the best choice to be honest though. The ones I linked all use normal off the shelf parts, unlike Dell/Alienware, HP, Asus, or Lenovo desktops. That means you can easily upgrade it yourself if you ever decide to learn how to do it. Just a thought. You got me thinking about the desktop ones, but it seems the GTX1060 options are out of stock. When I select the GTX1070 the price skyrockets. I found this browsing through amazon, seems cool, but it would make the monitor unaccessible for me. https://www.amazon.com/iBUYPOWER-Ultra-Gaming-Desktop-AM900Z/dp/B073RKHY2H/ref=pd_cp_147_4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=DBZ9AS24SDT6JGR3BA0H And microcenter has these 3! I think I overdid it, I'm really sorry for being such a bother. http://www.microcenter.com/product/473495/G419_Desktop_Computer http://www.microcenter.com/product/486482/1710_173_Gaming_Laptop_Computer_-_Black http://www.microcenter.com/product/486481/1510_156_Gaming_Laptop_Computer_-_Black -

If it must be a laptop, this is a good value for the money. Asus GL703VM-NH74: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834234830 Here is a cheaper alternative. Slower than the other by quite a bit when it comes to the GPU - but it's not bad at all. MSI GL62M 7RDX: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834154230 Here is are some pre-built desktops that is a pretty solid deal. You will need to buy a monitor, but that's all you'd need to buy after that. CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Xtreme VR GXiVR8060A5 Gaming PC: https://www.amazon.com/CYBERPOWERPC-Xtreme-GXiVR8060A5-i5-8400-GeForce/dp/B0757DVF4Z CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Xtreme VR GXiVR8100A Gaming PC: https://www.amazon.com/CYBERPOWERPC-Xtreme-GXiVR8100A-i7-8700-GeForce/dp/B0757FV6Y4 Monitor suggestions. None of these computers should be gaming at resolutions over 1080p most of the time, so 1080p is the native resolution for the monitors I've linked. Asus VZ249H: https://www.amazon.com/Monitor-Asus-VZ249H-23-8inch-speakers/dp/B01HZZ12YK Acer R240HY: https://www.amazon.com/Acer-R240HY-bidx-23-8-Inch-Widescreen/dp/B0148NNKTC OMG that ASUS specs and looks are amazing! I googled quickly and found the scar version, improved screen, not sure is worth it. I was about to buy but the wife got angry. Something about the credit cards...I'm aiming for it, thank you so much! By the way, what do you think of this one. My current laptop is 17 inch, i'm a little afraid of switching to 15 inch. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y4GZS9C/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I2PIJOJ8T3GTA6&colid=2D5ABT5H4XPWV I could switch my 500gb SSD over to this one and add a HDD eventually. -

I'm also very interested on buying SSE and modded the heck out of it as I did on oldrim. I have a ASUS ROG laptop i7-2630qm 2.00ghz, 16G DDR3, GPU GeForce GTX 560 with 2g dedicated DDR5 memory 2g shared. 7 years with it so far and has been very good for oldrim but i'm careful with heavy textured and scripted mods, and never used an ENB for the same reason. Also tweaked the ini settings to have from 30-50 fps. I'm looking for a similar laptop to play modded SSE but this time without worries. Maybe something between 800 to 1200USD? ANy good suggestions? I could probably try to build a desktop, but I lack the ability to program and build a PC  -
I have been looking for a mod to select the skin for my werewolf followers, the way the original Moonlight Tales Werewolf and Werebear Overhaul did. Moonlight Tales Essentials Overhauled Werewolf Halloween started with a single follower and vanilla follower system and it was good, but i haven't see any updates and a mod to select the werewolf/werebear for multiple followers would be just perfect. Compatibility with Amazing Follower Tweaks and Moonlight Tales Essentials is important.

Everything was fine and had been fine for months, and now suddenly loading game saves gives me an auto CTD. It doesn't even reach the screen where i see my character is just CTD without fully loading the cell. Happens with all my saves and with all my characters (I have 10). Curiously though this started happening while I was installing the game "The Witcher Ehanced Edition DIrector's Cut". I have tried selecting and unselecting mods in NMM like crazy, resetting my ini files, i even restored dawnguard, skyrim, dragonborn and heartfires esms from a back up. I think i F-ed skyrim finally and this time for good. Perhaps it was time to hang my skyrim gloves. Have been testing so much that my head hurts now. I backed up my skyrim files including main skyrim folder, My Documents folder and the NMM folder. Uninstalled all my mods using NMM and uninstalled skyrim and manually deleted everything that was left in the main folder, installed everything back again, and somehow a lot of my mods are not working. For example the better message box controls mod is installed, i can see the file under INTERFACE yet it does not work in game. Another example is the ESO NORD Armor it's invisible while in game, but the esp is selected and when loading a save game that has the armor it does not say the esp is missing, just not reading the meshes/textures, same happes for my followers....weird. I'm hoping is a computer problem, i'm considering reinstalling windows and make a clean install for everything, thank god i backed up my files, now i'm hoping they were properly backed up. Losing hope though.

Thank you Dark0ne. Knowing is a server problem lifts up the burden of having an unidentified glitch. I'll just keep an eye on it until it resolves.
