Wish I had known that before, lmao. I had accidentally installed an ESM and ESP files, one was for Oldrim and one was for SE and I'd accidentally picked the Oldrim one for my character!

Hands and feet are still a bit of a problem, but progress is progress!

Okay, so both the specular AND Normal maps for my SoS-friendly khajiit ahd the stripes baked on! The textures are nice, but making the stripes stand out was just silly! I yanked the ones from this mod, and here's what I ended up with!

Nope, just hit up the face sculptor - nothing I can find! It seems to be puling from the Khajiit specular which has stripes embedded on it. I'll see if there's a fix for that.

That's a head scratcher from me! It's been an issue on my end; maybe it's a body markigns thing, I'll have to hit up the face sculptor again and see if it's an in-game option! Will reply again soon!

Holy crap, it ain't perfect and I'm not looking for perfection, but the differences so far are night and day! Though apparently I need to find a way to edit my shape aside from racemenu (it reset all my skills and stuff last time...), I made those shoulders way too weak, lmao!

What bothers me is that, AFAIK, the SoS body is based off the Bettermales one - which this SHOULD work with! I might just have rose-tinted glasses and not remember these seams, too.

I found some nicely detailed textures for the old Fennec (Lilmothiit) mod, but there's some pretty egregious seams and the khajiit striped normal map is giving me unwanted stripes on my character's reflections! SoS also doesn't recognize it, which has cause other problems. Does anyone know who I could ask or where I could go? I tried Fiverr but I only get really fishy replies, already think I'm being scammed once now, and unfortunately this kind of texture work is WAY out of my wheelhouse!

Hey guys, I've been unable to reach the creator of a retexture mod for the Fennec race for some time now, and I've lost the original rar/zip files containing the mod itself; does anyone here happen to have a fresh copy of Reima's Fennec retextures? The ugly opening-your-map-indoors-causes-the-game-to-crash-to-desktop bug has reared it's ugly head once more. I thought I had solved it already (incompatibility with Vivid Weathers and another mod), and it was working fine for a while. I go to start butchering Peryite's followers in Bthardamz, though, and when I go to check my map and make sure I'm not going in a circle? BAM! Back to desktop. I'm not quite sure when this really started, because I didn't have this problem until a ways in to each file I've been having this problems with - one of which is a level 8+ and the other which is 50. Long story short: I try opening my map while indoors, game crashes to desktop with no warning or other actions. Just kaput - gone. someone tell me what all I need to get what I need to remove, what I need to change, all that fun stuff. It looks fantastic, but it can get confusing very, VERY fast, and I suspect that may be how I broke my game.

Thank you! That's why the Burmecian mod appealled to me so much; playing as humans and human permutations (elves included) just kinda...bored me. That's one of the reasons that Skyrim's been able to reel me in the way it has. Not every non-human/elf is just some braindead NPC, there's goodguys and badguys, and you can play into it. Technically, I consider myself a furry too, I enjoy the art and RPing as non-humans and such, but I want to make it clear that I'm not someone who acts all cutesy and such all the time (like a couple of others in this thread. No offense to you guys, but that's just not how I roll.), and it's not a purely sexual thing. Aspects of it are, of course (just as with just about anything), but for Fallout and The Elder Scrolls and such...it's just more fun to me!
