  1. less annoying night vision, as I detailed in this post and video: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3413155-request-night-person-rank-2-fix/
  2. djbell, may I make a suggestion as an older gamer myself? Instead of 'hiding' from this kind of thing, talk to your children. You don't mention age, but you'd be shocked by how young children are exposed to violence today. There's no hiding it in our society, if they don't see it on the news, video games, tv, movies, or internet... what are you doing, locking them in their rooms? Now a frank and honest discussion about violence, video games, the difference between real and pretend, and gun saftey and usage can go a long long way. I highly recommend http://www.fredrogers.org/ Because the fact is you can't mod life.
  3. Indeed, there were plenty of skyrim mods that did 'night vision' right. I can't recall which mod had it, but one brightened everything and gave the game a very slight purple hue. Not enough to be very distracting, but enough that you knew when you were using it. I want to say maybe it was a 'drow' racial power for a custom race?
  4. Someone didn't use the search feature. I already requested this, and made a video showing the difference. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3413155-request-night-person-rank-2-fix/
  5. I haven't seen that yet Edgar, I'll have to check it out.
  6. I play a stealth / melee focused character, and because of this, I am crouched at least half the time I'm playing, and almost all the time in any combat situation. I was so disappointed with Night Person's "night vision" that comes along with the second rank of the ability. The colors wash out, any light source you see is overwhelmingly blinding and oversaturated, but worst of all, about 50% of your screen becomes blurry and you get serious tunnel vision. It's a really terrible effect for a mid to late game perk. I was expecting some sort of 'lightening' effect on the vision, maybe a slight screen tinting to green or some other color, nothing too bad but something not terribly obtrusive. I was so startled by how bad the effect was that after playing with it for a few hours I had to console command and remove the perk. I made a video describing how bad it is here: Thanks in advance to any modders who work on this.
