  1. This would be an awesome mod. I don't really mind floating hands, it's just Bethesda's style. But nonetheless ever since I've played Far Cry 2 a couple of years ago the first person body has seemed very immersive :) Keep up the good job!
  2. That's a lot of great feedback! Well, I guess all we can do is sit tight and wait for the CK. Anyways, I stick to the magicka used per second idea. Naturally, mages will have an edge over warriors because they have more magicka. This is logical. In Morrowind, one of those factions had castles through which the entrance would only be by levitating and entering from above. The reason that those guys gave was so as not to let "barbarians" aka to them, Nords and warrior types easy entrance. There could also be a dragon shout which levitates like PirateDragon mentioned.
  3. This would be great. It would be ideal if developers actually created it though. I wouldn't mind buying the DLC at all!
  4. Yep, that's what I was totally thinking of :) I also agree that the spell should be extremely magicka consuming. It was kind of game breaking in Morrowind because you could recast it and continue floating around. A staff should also have this function, just at a greater acceleration. Imagine levitating with a staff in one hand and shooting fireballs with the other! :D I think that'd be a lore friendly jet trooper xD
  5. Yes, please! I want some more realism :D
  6. Hey fellow travelers, The travel system in Morrowind was fairly balanced. You could take silt riders (in Skyrim's case, horse carriages) and there would be the handy dandy Mark and Recall spells. That's my main suggestion that I'd love to see implemented. I've no idea whether this should be something easy or hard to create or whether modders will have to wait for the CK. Seeing that there is a Midas magic mod already, I think it could be implemented(?). It would also be awesome if there was a Levitation spell like in Morrowind, however it would drain mana depending on how long the person levitates for. I think that it'd fit in the Alteration spell section. Would be nice to see what others think of this is well. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been longing for Morrowind style. Mark The Mage P.S. Forgive me if there was a similar thread to this topic already!
  7. To be honest I love the older design more. It felt more simplistic and more in my element, I guess, due to it being similar in design to Steam. But eh, I'll get over it and so will the rest of us :)
  8. Sounds interesting although this design has become something I've rather clung onto now. Ah, good modding memories..
  9. Any information when you'll be bolstering up your ranks again with new recruits? I'd love to write articles for the Nexus.
  10. That's great news :) It's inevitable that gaming will become historical and I'm glad to see that in action and happening right now :) I voted for: Fallout 3, Oblivion, C&C series, Half Life 2, CoD:Black Ops and various other old timers, especially WORMS!
  11. Couldn't have said it better myself, I totally agree with you too. The community is what keeps a game thriving.
  12. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34888 This mod has a lot of spells! I've tried them and the damage output seems to be pretty high if you have a decent mastery of destruction. There are also leveling up mods which totally reform the vanilla Bethesda style. I didn't try any of those out because in my opinion I found the vanilla leveling up something out of the ordinary but yes, I do agree, it is time consuming.
  13. Agreed. Any game with a good story will be good of course. Sadly, story alone doesn't mean realism. I want to be consumed by Skyrim with all its' technological advances. Something in which I can run away from the real life but STILL be in a very realistic "life". All I'm saying is an epic story makes an epic game but in the end a realistic game combined with that epic story will have a much better impact on the consumer.
  14. If they don't add any on release they'll probably include it in a similar Horse Armor DLC xD
  15. why did you link to the older model that costs more? Sorry I meant this model: http://www.xoticpc.com/asus-g73jwrog-p-2938.html The ROG model has a Nvidia GPU model (Yes, I'm a Nvidia fanboy) and it also has the Bluray function although I doubt I'll use it at all. I'll also most likely get it customized by ordering from XoticPC. The main reason for getting the G73 model though is because it can keep the system cool. Laptops, if not cooled properly, get their GPUs and other hardware inside melted. I'm also considering whether to get SSDs from Xotic because laptop hard drives tend to spin out within a year for me :/
