  1. Thanks for the support. I no longer have the file but I will remake it possibly within the week from scratch again and re upload. I have to research the author again and go through my emails as a side note. If you want to have a cameo in the mod send me an image thats cool or something and ill release an update, I believe this Windows media cycle trick on older versions of windows was a command prompt that ran in the background people who werent in my generation wont know much about this but when i release it im pretty sure it will appear as a blank bat file and thats kinda lame but i mean this would be for people who have specific machines mainly outdated ones like my alienware alpha r2 { still an op machine} as of the time of writing anyone can easily modify the skyrim fps booster tool to point to kenshi i think the command was @echo off and kenshis target path i also beleive the author also gave this information out so anyone could make it work with any specific game so it launches with the game. I kinda run a labor company nowadays and all my old passions are dead... Sorry bud ill get it up asap as i can
  2. Dds files wont appear modders use a mod format to tell the game what it needs to do with the files inside which you have extracted without instructions basically If resubbing doesnt work contact the mod a uthor
  3. You extracted a mods contents or format (7zip) or used vortex and it placed it there. Place the entire actual mod there not its contents
  4. Try reinstalling kenshi from steam to your DESKTOP and reinstalling mods with Vortex after setting the new installation directory to point to your desktop. Or basically reinstall the game in a custom path outside of steam You may have to adjust steam workshop mod path as well to kenshi desktopfolder< mods folder path if you do my way for easy access, or set the mod install paths for vortex and steam workshop to reflect wherever you reinstall kenshi at outside of steam Also if you made anything readonly like the mod list for instance it will never be able to read/write to your mods to see the changes id take read only off the entire kenshi folder or try to keep everything defaulted if possible Also never edit any mods you install with vortex outside of vortex ie when you manually copied and extracted under any circumstances it messes vortex up or something always uninstall or reinstall with vortex but i get you were trying solutions it seems to be a folder/path issue And yes its the moving it out of commons is the issue but uninstall the game first and reinstall it the right way with custom steam install settings please If you messed with any txt pad files that you messed with variables with and set to read only could also be the culprit interfering with mods not being read. And no nothing installed into the mods folder will show up in your game at all even if your system shows its there if the kenshi launcher doesnt see it. Its a read issue its a easy fix

  6. Hello guys for those of you who are running on an old display and get notorious UI screen burns I highly recommend this: Ok so this youtube video actually did help reset my tvs pixels but its not a longterm solution you need to replace your display eventually and I had to run this at my HD resolution with my backlight setting turned down for a version that was like 8hours to get a week long fix, as thats what causes burn ins for me for my problem was my backlight setting, which you can compensate for by adjusting gamma in your pc settings. I find the repeating color patterns in the example video to work the best the channel has a few variations to match your displays aspect and Resolution or they can be searched for easily. Transparent UI https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1681013987 This other mod also turns Text Font into eyecandy and is compatible with other UI mods including Transparent UI. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1681918439 I don't get screen burn from kenshi or have to use F7 (No UI mode) anymore If you have a GOG copy and were wondering how to download steam exclusive mods, you can use this website to download from steam workshop for mods, just copy and paste the URL (Kenshi Devs graced GOG Owners with public steam workshop downloads) https://steamworkshopdownloader.io I use Vortex and drag my downloads into it and it auto installs mods the right way, no more manual installs. https://www.nexusmods.com/about/vortex/ There does exist a kenshi mod tool sorter and the creator still updates it to this day and it works very very well, ive only seen it sort clean queen blood race compatability mod above blood race mod thats the only thing it got wrong and i guess you could say the kenshi crash fixer mod, it puts it above universal wasteland expansion instead of the very bottom of the load order as highly suggested to by the kcf mod but that might not matter since its already below all animation mods and may not be affected by UEW animation compatability patches. https://github.com/millerscout/Kenshi-Mod-Manager
  7. So there's an old mod a user made that I can not get in contact with and he actually reuploaded a tool for another game modified for an ESO Game, and I kinda modified it to run with Kenshi using his instructions he left in a readme to make it work with any game. Short story short I can't contact the original uploader who made the WMC .bat file trick and I can't contact the other uploader who modified it to eso and posted it on the nexus. I feel like this can benefit a lot of people who need performance mods to run this game. What do.
  8. How exactly does one go about updating an old kenshi mod to the newest version of kenshi? I am very competent just looking for someone to explain the process, I have modding experience, and a few personal mods that the justcause2 community enjoyed.
  9. Can someone make this, Or tell me how i would make it myself?
  10. So i gave some good tank gear to this warrior elf while playing under the dalish scenario, and i didnt expect him to die, So how do i get the dlc items i gave him back? Is there console commands? If so my tilde isnt opening up the console, Sorry for being a noob, Im good at folllowing directions though :P
  11. Wow, that should run the game pretty sweet. What did you do to your ini files? You using gridstoload=9 instead of 7? AMD Phenom2 955 BE x4 (stock speeds) 4gb DDR3 1333 GTX 480 Sata2 WD 1 TB hdd. Game runs and looks great, modified ini's and all, using gridstoload=7 though. Game runs horrible on my alienware arora alx, Mostly cause my psu sucks i think. It runs skyrim at 60fps one day then 25-45 the next this isnt a troll topic I cant even run 120 fps constant at resolution of 1280 1024 ( I have to run that to get 60fps constant) And the 25-45 fps is at 1080p with everything maxed in game options and in ati control panel except for super sampling and AA which is at 8 I have 3 more ati 5970's i cant even use because of my psu isnt powerful enough Alienware really got me good upgrading my 2 5870 into 2 5970's :/
  12. I'm looking for any mods that will improve game performance without a reduction of quality, Skyboost helped, I tihnk some texture mods that replace vanillas fire were more optimised or something, Anyways whats a full list ive searched but can only find stuff like skyboost and tes acceleration layer, And also, I know patch 1.4 improved. My specs are ati 5970 850psu 12gb ram i7 930 Ocled 3.2ghz quad core 64bit OS Windows, 1tb Raid 0 HDD
  13. Im looking for a mod that adds more vanilla weapons or a mod that has visually improved armour and weapon textures. By the way ive looked but havnt found a mod that would allow you to add weapons from morrowind like throwing stars and all that jazz, does anyone know if something like this is out? Been going through categories and searching since i woke up.
